Pas de hauts immeubles ou de grands développements, juste vous et votre bien-aimé sur la plage.
Notre maison se trouve directement sur la plus belle plage aménagée de toute l’île (Pillory Beach), et les plages des îles Turks et Caicos sont systématiquement classées meilleures au monde, année après année.

En plus de cela, Grand Turk est également classé année après année dans le top 10 des sites de plongée sous-marine au monde.

Le duplex du Turks BeachsideBungalow a été profondément remodelé et un grand porche ajouté en 2013. Après l'ouragan Irma en 2017, nous avons repensé et ajouté l'AIR CLIMATISÉ à la maison ENTIÈRE. nouveaux lits king-size et matelas, un nouveau canapé-lit pour 6 personnes, un nouveau décor et de la nouvelle peinture partout. Et maintenant.... FIBRE OPTIC internet WiFi - c'est plus rapide qu'à Memphis!

2 chambres à coucher, chacune avec sa propre salle de bain privée. (2 lits, 2 salles de bain) Master a très luxueux lit King et la chambre avant a 2 lits jumeaux qui peuvent être convertis en roi aussi. Un tout nouveau canapé-lit du côté Seagull permet de dormir jusqu'à 6 personnes.

Notre maison a également la chance d'être située à moins de 100 mètres de l'épicerie avec le plus grand choix sur l'île et à 300 mètres dans le sens opposé, le plus beau restaurant de l'île au complexe de Bohio. Bohio est également où vous pouvez louer un Hobie Cat, paddleboards, kayaks et des vélos supplémentaires. Ils ont aussi la plongée avec tuba, des excursions de plongée, excursions et la baleine à regarder. Tout juste une courte promenade sur la plage, juste au nord de notre bungalow. La nuit, nous allons nous habiller, descendre la plage à Bohio, prendre des photos du coucher du soleil, avoir un fantastique repas préparé par un chef, puis retourner à notre petit BeachsideBungalow tranquille sous les étoiles.

4 restaurants préférés de l'île sont en direction du centre-ville, à 15 minutes à pied ou à 5 minutes en vélo. Beaucoup de restaurants et de bars options sur l'île.

Deux vélos de chaque côté Bungalow sont maintenant disponibles gratuitement pour une croisière de l'île.

Grand Turk est un endroit calme petite île spéciale qui doit encore être découvert par les développeurs et les touristes. Nous pouvons nous asseoir sur la plage pendant des heures et parfois des jours (jours non de navires de croisière) sans voir une seule personne. Très Spécial!
Cependant, les jours de navires de croisière, il y aura un peu plus d'activité sur l'île et près de notre plage. Les croiseurs sont généralement sur l'île pour environ 5 à 6 heures pendant la journée, de sorte que leur impact est assez limité. Un bateau sera fin emballer avant le 5, de sorte que nos couchers de soleil sont toujours isolée et privée!

Année températures rondes de 75 à 85 en font un hiver ou d'été escapade Idéal. Nous tuba en Décembre!

Venir est assez facile, mais ne nécessite un vol supplémentaire pour se remettre à Grand Turk. Nous volons généralement American Airlines à destination de Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, (code aéroport PLS) puis soit Inter Air Caraïbes ou Caicos Express Airlines à Grand Turk. (Environ 70 $ aller-retour pour le Jumper). Regardez ces jusqu'à acheter séparément de votre principal vol des États-Unis. Beachside Bungalow

The Beachside Bungalow property was wonderful. The location was great! The accommodations met all of our needs. Very clean and well decorated.

Wonderful!

This place is the definition of relaxation! After months of wedding planning, I cannot think of a better way to relax. We had such an amazing time riding bikes, relaxing by the beach, talking to the locals, and hanging out downtown. Everybody was so incredibly nice! The house is located in the perfect place. It's close enough to ride the bikes into town but far enough to be away from all the cruise tours. You will not be disappointed staying here! We will be back!!!

Honeymooners! We are so happy our first wedding couple had a private and relaxing time. While we were remodeling/preparing our vacation home, we were thinking how we wished we had known about or gone to a place like this for our honeymoon. We just knew it was going to be a perfect, romantic getaway - we're so glad you came!

Nicest and cleanest vacation rental on the island!

We had a great stay at Drew's Beachsidebungalow. At first wondered if it would be too quiet but by the end of the week we were completely chilled which is just what we were looking for. The bungalow is super very spacious and well nicely furnished. Loved reading in the hammock and tumbling out on to the beach, so close! We rode the bikes provided everywhere and enjoyed the exercise up to the lighthouse and down to the cruise centre. Bohio is a great resort to chill at and had some great meals the creamy lobster and key lime at Grand Turk Inn where fantastic. Loved the Sandbar as a great local beach bar. Drew has a fantastic website with tons more info also. If you want and anti-resort destination then this is the place!!

Fantastic cottage with a stunning view

We landed on Grand Turk coming from Provo and was met at the airport. We were then driven to the cottage and got useful information on the way. We came a bit early but the cottage was finished cleaned in advance. The exterior and interior of this very nice house is actually even better in reality than it looks on the pictures (yes I know...the pictures are fantastic). We stayed in the large apartment and to our surprise when we opened the door, it was bigger than you could see on the pictures. We did not have much contact with the owners, mainly because we did not have any problems with either the house or the booking. If you are reading this and are not certain if you would like to go here or to Provo, well, it is a fairly easy choice. And on Grand Turk I think we managed to get the best house. Thank you Drew and Joanie for a very nice stay in your house.

A great place for New Years!!

The down side with telling you about Beachside Bungalow is that it will make it harder to rent in the future but here we go. It is the perfect place to unwind. The house is appointed beautifully with a terrific beachy theme; driftwood, shells, cool caribbean color scheme and who doesn't love hammocks. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. We rented both sides for a little more space but we congregated in the large side for everything. We woke each morning with the sun, took a walk up the perfect beach, rinsed off in the outside shower and went in for breakfast. Later there was snorkling, biking, exploring and of course talking to the locals about the best way to prepare fresh conch, fish and lobster. The house has everything you need for cooking except a mallet to tenderize the conch but then an empty wine bottle works fine. We are not crowd goers but there was plenty of that along with music etc at the cruise center. If you are looking for the perfect combination of above and below water, this is the house.

Amazing Beach.....

My husband and I stayed at the Beachside Bungalow for 12 nights in early January to celebrate our anniversary. We did a lot of research before deciding on Grand Turk and this property. I have made a list of pros and cons. Pros: The beach, water and weather were fabulous. There were very few people on the beach even though a cruise center beach area is just a short distance down the beach. There is a Smart grocery store within 5 minutes from the house and has a good selection and very friendly staff. The Bohio Dive Shop has a very nice open-air beachside bar and restaurant and is within walking distance on the beach or a short golf cart ride. The Arches on the Ridge is a short 10-15 minute golf cart ride and is by far the best restaurant on the island. Amanda and Chef Ed are great! I would highly recommend everything on their menu. Cons: All of the nonstick pans were very scratched. The dishes in the drawers had food and grease on them. All of the drink ware and all of the other dishes were plastic with the exception of a few plates, bowls and coffee cups and many of the dishes had decorative plastic coating that was peeling off. I ended up hand washing all of the dishes as there isn’t a dishwasher. Not a great start to what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation! The next morning we went to the DoIT Center and bought 2 new nonstick pans. The property manager did reimburse us for those before we left. We learned after we complained that there were new plastic dishes and pots and pans in the owner's storage area?! The floors weren’t clean. There appeared to be a pile of sweepings just swept next to the garbage can and left there. Also, there was dust and dust bunnies around the baseboards and toilets and pedestal sinks. The bikes weren't in good working order. They were very rusty and all had flat tires and handlebars and seats that were loose. Ironically, there was a brand new bike that needed to be put together hanging in the shed. The property manager came out to pump tires and try to tighten seats/handlebars but we felt they weren't safe. The pictures on the website appear to be from when the property was first listed. The grounds need some TLC. The stone path leading from the house to the beach are very hard on the feet and require some sort of footwear be worn. This property has an amazing location, but I can't give a higher rating based on the items listed.

Hey Diane, We are so sorry you decided to follow through on your poor review threat because we refused to credit you back the extra fees that VRBO tacks on to our normal rates. These are fees that we have no control over and sometimes they range as high as 17%. VRBO is not the only place to rent our house and after you found out you overpaid, there was no pleasing you. We both know you loved the house and that we bent over backwards making sure you were happy. For the record, the pots were really fine, but we put out the brand new set for you anyway, 1 out of 7 bikes had a flat that we fixed the next day, we raised the seats to your liking, 3 bikes had chains that were a little rusty so we oiled them for you. (you were only due 4 bikes in your rental agreement anyway - no need to complain about bikes you could have chosen not to use) The place was spotless like every other guest remarks in their reviews, but we had the cleaning lady redo the whole place for you the second day of your stay just in case, yes we have a stone path that you wear your flip flops on, and lastly, we completely redecorated and repainted the house in 2018 after Hurricane Irma- new furnishings, beds, rugs, appliances, etc, so no, these aren't the same things or pictures from when we opened in 2013. Spectacular week away from the crowds!

My husband and I were trying to figure out where to spend a week off in October and we came across this house in Grand Turk. Although it takes an extra short, inexpensive plane flight from Providenciales, it is well worth it! What was not worth it were the extra fees we paid to VRBO by not renting it directly from Drew on his web page beachsidebungalow. The house has everything you would need plus more you didn't think of. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable...not to mention your own private beach with nightly sunsets right out your door. Also, a short walk down the beach takes you to a great bar and restaurant at the Bohio Dive Resort. The water at the beach, outside the house, is like swimming in a pool with an amazing snorkeling and diving spot accessible from the beach. Drew, the owner, has plenty of snorkeling equipment for all to use and his bikes are all in good repair. We rode everywhere on the bikes all around the island and we got to meet many of the locals. Drew is very well respected and known on the island, and you are immediately embraced as a "local" with this connection. One day, invest in a golf cart and go to the north part of the island to see the lighthouse and end up in the Carnival Cruise Center in the south when the boats are in for the day .Also, there is a very small grocery store that is walking distance from the house, so food is always available in any direction and easily made in the well stocked kitchen. Be sure to book a fishing charter from Kel at Deep Blue Charters, who lives next door and book an intro to SCUBA experience at Grand Turk Diving with Jason and you will have a week you will never forget. We will for sure book this house again, It is a gem. This will be a week of living outside the box and experiencing all the amazing opportunities that this island offers, topped by this amazing house, it is a week you will never forget. Janice Dixon

I don’t even know where to start. From how adorable the home is, to where it is located. The the owners that give you all the info that you need to know, best places to go, instruction that are detailed. This home is truly a slice of paradise. The beach located in front of the home is magnificent you don’t even need to leave to visit anywhere else. Will recommend to anyone that want to get away from all the hustle, to truly relax and enjoy, even if it is for a stay. From a family of 5, 2 adults 3 teens

Perfect Couples Getaway!

The Beachside Bungalow was everything it claimed to be and more! Private, quiet, clean and perfectly located. The white sand beach was amazing and secluded (even on Cruise ship days). The host provided organized details regarding check in procedures and was easy to reach and quick to respond to questions. This property is absolutely the BEST spot on Grand Turk!

Pure Heaven!!

My husband and I stayed at the Beachside Bungalow on our Honeymoon. This place was wonderful! The beach, the house, the town...WOW!! Everyone is so nice on Grand Turk. We were lucky enough to meet the owners, Drew and Joanie, during our stay. Great people! Went snorkeling at the Wall and it was amazing. The water is so clear you feel like your in a pool, not the ocean! The house was a perfect size for us two. Very clean and well-maintained. The breezes when you have the front and back door open are absolutely wonderful...no AC required!! Most of the time we had the whole beach to ourselves which is exactly what I was looking for...couldn't have picked a better place. We had a such a good time on our honeymoon!! I would recommend to anyone!

Traumhaftes und ruhiges Strandhaus

Wir waren Anfang Mai für 10 Nächte im "Sea Gull" (die größere Wohnung) des Beachside Bungalows. Von Anfang an haben wir uns wohl gefühlt, super ausgestattet, gemütlich und sauber. Vom großen Schlafzimmer aus hat man schon im Bett liegend einen tollen Meerblick und nach dem Aufstehen Frühstück auf der Terrasse ..... Wie schon von Drew (der Vermieterin) erwähnt, ist der lokale Fischmarkt, also wo die zwei oder drei Fischer gegen 17.00 Uhr mit ihrem Tagesfang ankommen, nur 200m den Strand in südliche Richtung. Dort bekommt man für 10 Dollar einen ausgenommenen Fisch, den man sich dann schön auf dem Grill im Garten am Abend zubereiten kann. Das ganze mit Sundowner in der Hand und mit etwas Glück keine Wolken am Horizont und einem gigantischen Sonnenuntergang. Wir haben uns in Miami im Duty Free gleich mit 3 Flaschen Gin bzw. Wodka versorgt für 40 Dollar (Offer) - und das war absolut sinnvoll, da es auf der Insel ja doch etwas teuerer ist. Bier kostet ca. 1,50 US per 0,33ml bei Abnahme von 36 Dosen. Ebenfalls sinnvoll ist es gleich bei der Ankunft Jack oder wer auch immer euch abholt, nach einem Stop im Liqueur shop und Supermarkt zu fragen, und schnell die wichtigsten und vor allem schwersten Sachen zu kaufen. Mit dem Fahrrad ist das dann etwas schwerer ... Tauchen waren wir im Bohio - 3 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad nach Norden. Tauchgang 70 US oder 2 für 130 US. Alles sehr easy und ohne Stress. Sehr empfehlenswert. Auf jeden Fall mit Kreditkarte zahlen und nicht vor Ort tauschen, auch nicht in Miami, die Rate ist viel zu schlecht. Die Touris vom Cruiseship haben wir kaum gemerkt, auch wenn zwei Grundstücke weiter eine Bar mit Liegen ist, wo man die Cruiser hinkarrt und abfüllt. Musik ist nicht laut und meistens Bob Marley - und damit konnten wir guuuuut leben. Wir haben die Ruhe als absolutes Plus empfunden. Waschmaschine und Trockner funktionieren auch super - also nicht so viele Sachen mitnehmen, die braucht man auf der Insel nicht. Badesachen sind das Wichtigste!!! Direkt vorm Haus ist der Eingang ins Meer nicht der Beste (Seegras / Riff), aber links und rechts (20 m) kann man gut reingehen und rumdümpeln. Leider gibt es viel Müll auf der Insel, alle Glasflaschen werden weggeschmissen und es gibt kein Pfandsystem - entsprechend sieht es an manchen Stellen aus. Aber alles in allem ist es eine kleine Trauminsel, verschlafen und nicht überlaufen wie manch andere. Wir hatten jedenfalls eine tolle Zeit und würden jederzeit wieder zurück wollen .....!!!!!

Translated poorly: Dreamlike and quiet beach house We were early May for 10 nights in "Sea Gull" (the larger apartment) Beachside Bungalows. From the beginning we felt comfortable, well equipped, comfortable and clean. From the large bedroom you have lying in bed a great sea view and after getting breakfast on the terrace ..... As mentioned by Drew (the landlord), is the local fish market, so where the two or three fishermen at 17.00 pM arrive with their daily catch, only 200m to the beach in a southerly direction. There one gets a gutted fish, which you can then cook beautifully on the grill in the garden in the evening for $ 10. The whole with sundowner in hand and with luck no clouds on the horizon and a gigantic sunset. We in Miami in the same Duty Free 3 bottles of gin or vodka supplied for $ 40 (Offer) - and that was absolutely meaningful, since it is but a little more expensive on the island yes. Beer costs about 1.50 US per 0,33ml in quantities of 36 doses. Also useful is the same on arrival Jack or whoever you pick, after a stop in Liqueur shop and ask supermarket, and quickly to buy the most important and especially serious stuff. With the bike is slightly heavier then ... we were diving in Bohio - 3 minute bike to the north. Dive 70 US or 2 for 130 US. All very easy and without stress. Highly recommended. Definitely pay by credit card and not replace locally, even in Miami, the rate is too bad. The tourists from the cruiseship we hardly noticed, although two plots a bar with chairs is next, where to hinkarrt the cruiserweight and bottling. Music is loud and mostly Bob Marley - and we could live goooood. We have felt the calm as absolute plus. Washer and dryer also work great - so do not take so many things that you do not need on the island. Bathing suits are the most important thing !!! Directly in front of House of the entrance into the sea is not the best (seaweed / reef), but left and right (20 m) you can go in well and rumdümpeln. Unfortunately, there is a lot of trash on the island, all glass bottles are thrown away and there is no deposit system - accordingly it looks in some places. But all in all it is a small paradise island, sleepy and not overcrowded like many others. We certainly had a great time and would not hesitate to want to return ..... !!!!!

Would come back again and again...

We stayed on the large side of the bungalow for one week, just my Wife and I for a very low key anniversary vacation. The accommodations are as pictured. The home is well maintained and has all the things you need. As many mentioned, the beach is steps from your back door and is wonderfully quiet (even when cruise ships are in). The water is very clear and has every shade of blue you want to see in the Turks and Caicos water. The location is great for the best of both worlds for a meal; head north about 400 yards to the Bohio and have a very nice meal at their restaurant or head south maybe 200 yards to where the fisherman come in and buy freshly caught fish (we did both!) and cook in either the fully stocked kitchen or on the charcoal grill. We were lucky enough to not have anyone staying on the other side of the unit, so we really had a private stay – but I don’t think it would have bothered us one bit if another family was next door the way the back porch is separated. We always felt safe on the island and in the house. We would bring our young children here without question. We highly recommend Grand Turk and The Beachside Bungalow – we can’t wait to go back!

The perfect secluded getaway. We totally enjoyed the quiet, relaxing and beautiful white sandy beach. If you are looking to kick back and enjoy the beach, this is the place to be. For some entertainment we went to Margarittaville when the cruise ships were in port. First time we rode bicycles, OMG it was a far, exhausting ride. However, GOOD exercise which was needed! The next trip to Margaritaville was by GOLF cart. Lots of fun and visited Governer's beach - what could we say, AWESOME. We purchased food to cook at the bungalow and enjoyed a dinner at Bohio. The water is gorgeous and since we are much the beachgoer, the bungalow was a perfect place to be. The town of Grand Turk is not a big resort style atmosphere but a small island with its own charm. I believe the only thing we could say to improve our stay would be that the beach, since close to a cruise ship destination stop, there was a lot of broken glass bottles and wandering cruise people roaming around. We love the donkeys, they did open the front gate (pretty funny); and the homeless dogs are well behaved (we are animal lovers)..... Thanks Drew for letting us spend our pre-Xmas vacation at your place. Miri, Jennifer and Brenda

Lovely villa in a beautiful setting

My daughter and I shared the smaller property during a week's dive trip. The villa was lovely, cooled by fresh sea breezes during the day and a/c during sleeping. The villa has a distinct charm and a stupendous view of sunset from the back deck. Each night was spectacular.

Worth The Money

My family stayed a week in December 2015 and had a blast. The bungalow is steps from the Pillory Beach. The beach was beautiful and the texture of the sand was incredible. The color of the water was also unbelievable--many variations of blue and green. The bungalow was nicely appointed and if you choose to eat a few meals in, there are nice utensils and pots and pans to accommodate. Restaurants are walking distance or there are bikes to ease the travel. There is a washer and dryer on site so don't overpack. Steps off the beach there's an incredible coral reef teeming with plants, fish and other animal life that are astounding. Only beef was Wifi was spotty but I think it's an island thing and nothing unique to the bungalow.

with no doubts, the best place in grand turks

We just got back from an amazing week in Grand Turks. We are a family from Italy with two jung children age 3 and 5. We all love it. First of all the beach bungalow is very stylish, super equipped and on a great beach. The beach was always empty, basically all for us. Even when the cruises where in, no one was coming in front of our house and we almost didn't notice them on the beach. Grand Turk is a funny place... we didn't want to get in the crowd, and here you definitely stay out of it, but when the Cruises are in, the island from a remote place became a little amusement park. All local people are very nice and helpful. We took a boat trip (the one recommended by Drew and was awesome. The water is crystal clear, you swim with stings ray and had beautiful snorkelling! I have to say that it took a little way to get used to the island pace and to the "non touristic" attitude (except for cruises) but we had wonderful dinners at both hotels in the island. I recommend to rent a golf cart and explore. It is very tempting to stay just on your great beach, but, exploring the island is worth it. Governor beach for example has great water... we discovered it just the last day and regretted not to have been there before. Also the lighthouse is very nice and I recommend to go once with the cruise and after without, at sunset... I have to say that at the beginning we had expectation of a more "resort" style island, and it took a little bit to understand the island, so I recommend to come with the right attitude, don't be scared by local houses that are not always "brand new" and don't expect to have a whole food as a supermarket, but just enjoy this little paradise where the see has colours that only a painter can immagine!

Perfect Escape!

My boyfriend and I just came back from our 8 night stay at the bungalow...we could not come up with enough good things to say about it!! Wow...that view!! Perfect way to escape from real life stress and just relax. The bungalow has everything you could possibly need. Make sure you bring water shoes, sea urchins on beach right behind the house. Make sure you explore the island! All the locals we came in contact with were friendly and helpful if you needed anything. Make sure you check out the fish market! Great food at the Sandbar and The Salt Raker Inn. We will definitely be back!! Best vacation we have been on yet...and not just because we got engaged on our last night!! We loved the bungalow.

great place, but not as private as it could be

We stayed in the smaller of the 2 bungalows which was plenty of room for the 2 of us. The bungalow is fantastic with 2 bdrm, 2 bthrm and great back porch with outdoor lounges & hammock. A great breeze comes through the place if you open the front door and back doors, as the owners ask you to only use the bedroom aircon for sleeping, which we were fine with. The bikes were fantastic and the best way to get around the island. Looking at the roads I was a bit concerned for the welfare of my behind riding on the bikes, but they have surprisingly great suspension. You are located within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores and to where the local fishermen come in between 4/5 pm with their catch. Barbies is a must, especially for the fried conch and peas and rice. The bungalow also provides you with snorkling gear and you can go straight out from the back of the house, or turn right and walk up the beach to the resort with the red umbrellas and there is great snorkling there. The only negative is the cruise ship bar party venue next door. The cruise ship patrons and the staff were fine. Yes, caribbean party music plays all day long, and fairly loud, but we didn't mind so much as we would get out and explore the island a lot. If you plan on staying at the bungalow all day and just relaxing this might be an issue for you. My issue was with the local boys ( 6 of them) who would sit between our private beach and the cruise centre with their horses and try to sell horse rides up and down the beach to the cruise patrons. We were the only 2 people at both bungalows for the entire week we were there and thought we would have total use of the beach and 2 huts in the back yard, but the local boys would use one to sit under and drink and to tie the horses under. One day I came home from a bike ride and both huts were occupied with 2 horses seeking shelter under each hut, so I couldn't use them. Also, the horses would relieve themselves under the huts and leave a great mess for me to have to scoop up with the shovel from the shed in the mornings. I didn't feel comfortable sunning myself with these boys hanging around so close & with a horse 3m away from me, plus they would stay for the entire time the centre was open (8 am -4pm). Without these local boys, it would feel alot more private & secluded and I would have felt comfortable sunning myself at the beach right our the back of the bungalows. Such a shame as this really is a great place

Problem solved, but not soon enough. We are so sorry you had an unpleasant beach experience, but it is my fault. I had seen the horse guys there about 2 months ago, befriended them, and offered that if there was no one at our house they could water their horses. Unfortunately they took complete advantage of me and my offer and overran the beach with their horses. We have since cut off the water usage and moved the palm shade umbrellas inside our fence. The tourist board officials have been notified and the guys have moved on down the beach from being directly in front of our house. So sorry we didn't catch this right away and keep you from having to deal with it. Glad you had a fantastic time otherwise.

Wonderful Experience

Beachside Bungalow is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation to get away from the real world. There were 8 of us in our group, and I couldn’t imagine a better housing setup for 4 couples. It provided the perfect week-long summer getaway for us all. Below are some tips/recommendations/observations. - Beachside Bungalow provides the best of both worlds on the island, as it’s a very private location that’s within distance of a lot of the local people and sights. - The water was perfect during our late-June stay. - The washer/dryer is extremely handy - Take advantage of Beachside Bungalow’s back porch in the evenings – the sunset view is spectacular! - Rent a golf cart. - The Bungalow is within walking distance of our favorite restaurant for dinner (Bohio). It takes atleast an hour for the food to arrive at the table, but the music, outdoor setting, and drinks provide relief – we didn’t mind the wait at all. You can either walk up the beach to Bohio or take a golf cart. - A great lunch spot call Konky Joe’s is also within a street walk or golf cart ride. The conch fritters and conch bites are VERY good and the entire menu is very inexpensive. I wish we would have tried Konky Joe’s early in the week. - Highly recommend water shoes for the beach. The Sea Urchins and Coral will cut up your feet if you aren’t careful. - Locals bars and beer/liquor stores are willing to give you a little wiggle room on the prices most of the time. It’s pretty easy to bargain down to $2.50 for a beer that is advertised as $3.50. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our experience at Beachside Bungalow and hope to return some day!

Kick your feet up and relax!

The Bungaloo was a great place for a getaway from the daily grind of everyday life! The home had everything we needed to be able to take our minds and live on island time! The location is perfect! You can watch the sunrise and sunset everyday off the back porch. Also, there are nearby restaurants an easy walk down the beach. The home was well equipped with everything you need to relax including an outside porch, large couches, and a dinner table for a night if you want to stay in. The home also has cable in case you just "have to" watch the US Open on vacation :).

Fabulous week with friends!

My husband and I joint three of my college friends and their husbands/boyfriends for a week in Grand Turk. The bungalow was the perfect location and layout for our couples' retreat! The home is spacious and gave each couple their own bedroom and bathroom. However, we spent most of our time on the back porch and at the beach. (We rented both sides to comfortably accommodate 8 adults.) The bungalow is located near all of the grocery stores on the island making cooking at home easy. It's also near several restaurants which was convenient because we ate out most of our meals. Bikes are available with the house and perfect for daytime touring, but I recommend renting a golf cart for your stay. You can easily pile groceries on the cart and use this at night when returning from dinner. The only time we used a car service was going to and from the airport. Additionally, there are several snorkeling and deep sear fishing options on the island. We booked both through Crystal Seas Adventures. They pick you up on the water very near the bungalow making it very convenient. It was a fabulous weekend full of relaxation, adventure, and memorable moments!

The MOST Relaxing Week for a Couple's Retreat

Our week in Grand Turks can only be described as one of the most relaxing, enjoyable and best experiences I have ever had. First off, we were greeted at the airport by Jack who Drew had prearranged to pick us up. He was so nice, and made our arrival very pleasant. On the way to the Bungalow, his son (who drove us) told us all about the island, and the do's and dont's for the week. The locals are so nice, love their island as well as enjoy telling you the history and nobody every bothered us during our stay. In fact, the local property caretaker checked on us during the week via the house cell phone to make sure we had everything we needed, after we called her upon our arrival to ask a question about grocery store hours. This was very pleasant as she and her husband were so helpful in answering our questions, but were not overbearing or invading our privacy. We ate out every night except for the night after we went fishing with Tim of Crystal Seas Adventures. We caught 2 Blackfin Tuna and cooked them on the Bungalow grill. The restaurants the owner provided on his list were perfect as we tried and different one each night. The Bohio was by far our favorite place to eat, but we also enjoyed Konky Joe's, The Osprey, and the new Pizza & Beer garden at the Turks Head Inn & Mansion. The AC in each bedroom was so nice for sleeping, and the constant easterly breeze through the house made the entire bungalow so pleasant. The amenities both sides offer are perfect for a relaxing week. Mr. Drew has done an exceptional job providing things to his guest. The beach chairs are very nice, the snorkeling gear was fun to have, and the bikes were fun for exploring close to the house. We rented a golf cart from Nathan and got a great price. We explored the island almost every day and highly recommend the golf cart. After reading reviews on here, water shoes (chaco's) are a must because the sea urchins and rocks can cut your feet. The beach is so relaxing that you can always find a spot to set up the chairs and avoid sea weed, urchins, and the rocks. This is a vacation I will never forget and cannot wait to book our next trip to Beachside Bungalow again soon. Also, we had some concerns before booking our vacation, and Drew the owner could not have been any more helpful. He took his time answering all of our questions, and making sure we were ready for our trip of a lifetime.

Grand Turk is the most wonderful quiet little island. It's the Caribbean of 40 years ago; authentic, unspoiled, naturally beautiful with no high rises or throngs of tourists everywhere all day and night.
Our Turks BeachsideBungalow is the perfect place to get away from it all and reconnect with your spouse! Our days are usually spent waking up late, strolling the beach hand in hand, laying out soaking up the sun, cooking a dinner on the grille, and lots of conversation which gets lost in the bustle of life.
After spending a few days alone together we may be ready for a little action, which is when we may go down to the Cruise Center and people watch. The cruise ship center is a self contained tourist mecca where cruise ships check in for the day and their guests have a big time in the huge pool with swim-up bar, a Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, a surfing machine for learning to surf, and tons of shopping.There is a DJ every day having games and contests with the pool crowd - always a fun time is had here. We can go right in and join the fun free of charge and then when we tire of it, come back home to our little bungalow.
