The Space:

Once a Victorian-era storefront, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath gem has been fully renovated to offer a unique and stylish stay. The home's character is preserved while providing every contemporary comfort you need.



Step inside to a spacious living area with a comfortable leather sofa, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. This welcoming space flows into a fully-equipped, modern kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, marble-patterned countertops, and a large breakfast bar. The three serene bedrooms each boast a plush King bed, a Smart TV, and their own distinct, elegant decor.

The Neighborhood:

The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

Please Note: Downtown is continuing to grow, and there is ongoing construction and infrastructure work happening nearby. Host was great, everything was clean and well maintained, really a 4.5 here, they were not kidding about the construction in the description, they were adding concrete pillars starting at 7am and there was pounding that could be heard until 5pm, so sleeping in wasnt really an option, but the amenities were great, the split units for heat do a plenty good job, and area was great, you could walk to most restaurants and enjoy the city

The property was in a great location overall- very walkable to everything!The noise was a bit much especially the first night as there is a bar right next door that had music bumping till late.We found a few cockroaches during our stay but other than that the place was clean. Definitely a bit smaller than the pictures in terms of living space but the bedroom set up was perfect for the 3 couples we had on the trip.

We had 3 couples traveling and this was the perfect house! Hard to find 3 king beds. It just was so pretty. And very convenient to everything. Island Provisions next door was so nice for breakfast and afternoon cocktails! Will definitely stay here again!

Great location and vibe !

We chose The Parlour for a birthday weekend and it did not disappoint. Location was great , allowing us to walk to many of our events! The living room, bar and kitchen area have a great vibe. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and well decorated. We really enjoyed our time and highly recommend.

What a lovely home! Nice sized bedrooms, all en suites with king beds and bathrooms. Great location, easy to get around. Good parking, off street and big enough for our large SUV.

Wonderful stay

Our part of 6 adults had a wonderful stay here. The house is a perfect set up for 3 couples. The place was clean and cozy. The neighborhood is great, walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Provisions store next door was perfect for morning coffees and picking up bottles of wine for evenings. Communication with the host was great. We highly recommend staying here while staying in Charleston!

Had a wonderful stay!! Home was exactly as pictured. They had wonderful communication with us and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved having the store Island Provisions next door. They have coffee, tea, beer, wine, cocktails and food. So friendly and helpful. Everything is in walking distance which made it so nice.

Parlour House

The check in and communication with Duvet was perfect, quick responses to any questions we had. The Palour house was great, we had 3 adult couples each having their own bathroom and King Room was perfect. The place was clean and beds were very comfortable, also a plus to have your own covered Parking spot. The location is only one block from King Street perfect for walking, we never even used our vehicle, having the coffee shop next store was perfect for a quick bite to eat and numerous other options. I highly recommend this property, we was there 3 nights and will book this property again within the next year. Def 5 Stars....in all areas

Wonderful location and very nicely set up

This home was perfect for a girls weekend. It is a charming old home that has been beautifully remodeled to be a perfect vrbo. The coffee shop next door was awesome and everything was walkable. If you have more than one car it will need to go in a lot/garage but there was one pretty close. Other than that, it was perfect. If we come back to Charleston next year we will stay at the same place!

Gorgeous historic property- so convenient!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Parlor House 223A! The home itself is absolutely beautiful. All of the finishings, furniture, decor, etc set the table perfectly for a weekend that feels authentically historic Charleston but also are incredibly comfortable and usable- not stuffy at all. The fact that my husband and I had the downstairs suite while both our kids (16 and 12) each had an upstairs suite with their own king sized bed and their own bathroom made everyone comfortable. The living room/kitchen combo area is very functional and easy to use- we weren’t there much during the days, but we enjoyed relaxing there with our coffee from Island Provisions next door (another property under the same management group as 223A and super convenient to have delicious coffee literally steps from your front door upon waking up!) and we had a Harry Potter movie marathon going on Peacock+ on the tv in the living room each night after returning from our days’ adventures! The house is an easy walk to King St and all the dining and fun there- we walked there for dinner and an escape room on two evenings. It was also an easy drive to the other two places we visited during our short stay- the downtown French Quarter area and Sullivan’s Island. We loved everything about the 223A property- beautiful and authentic decor, conveniently located, off-street covered parking, safe little courtyard/neighborhood feel with the other properties owned by this same group, tons of room inside the home, beautiful aesthetic, etc
 but the funniest thing was the faces of people who would walk by and look into the windows, thinking it was a lovely commercial bar, and then be SHOCKED to see us on the sofa in our pjs! (This could be easily solved by closing the large velvet curtains in the front windows, and we did that at night- but we left them open a lot so we could see people outside stop, peer in, and ask each other “What’s the name of this bar
” and then watch them realize it wasn’t a bar at all! đŸ€Ł)
