Did they know we were coming??

Zero outdoor prep. Sidewalk by the front door was a sheet of ice, no salt there even so we could put it down. Driveway was unusable due to ice. Very unsafe. Also, the side door was not secured, I had to push hard to get it to latchInside was ok, tore my sock on sharp trim by the side door, random cobwebs, not very clean bedding. Will not stay here again, very disappointed

A perfect stay

The property is well kept and nicely decorated. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. I would definintely stay there again.

Great location and property for family of 4

Steps from Watkins Glen and a short walk from the lake, this 3br 1bath property was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teens.

Overall very good. Parking is off street but very steep. The place is very clean and quiet. A bit expensive but not if you have more than 1 family, becomes cheap. Will return soon

Great Location

We have stayed around Watkins Glen previously, but this was our first time staying in town. The location of this place is pretty much 1-3 blocks from every place you would like visit. The State Park is only two blocks away. Loved the convenience. The place is very nice and Courtney was great to work with. Having cable was nice for my sons. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect location

The place was clean and just as described. Host was communicative and rules/responsibilities were clear and not unreasonable. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return again.

Cozy apartment with all amenities.

We stayed here 3 nights in August and I can say the place exceeded my expectations. It’s walking distance from Watkins Glen hike starting point and right off Franklin street, the Main Street in town. Everything was close by just walk away. The place itself was clean and with 3 bedrooms it was just perfect for 3 of us. The common room is big with a nice eat in kitchen. Bathroom was clean and function with great water pressure. Rooms are small (I mean really small) but if you are going there only to sleep, I don’t mind it so much. Parking is right behind the property and on the street it’s very convenient. Couple suggestions for the owner - Please see if you can keep basic coffee and some condiments there, makes it easy in the morning. Bathroom door needs a lock from inside, minor inconvenience I would say. Overall, great place if you are looking for three bedrooms. And yes, don’t pet the cat outside, she might look friendly but she scratched by daughter suddenly during a petting session. Comfortable Stay, highly recommended.

In town for the 6hrs at the glen. House is clean, and very convenient, walking distance to anything in downtown Watkins. And Courtney the manager is super on point and a great host.

this could be a nice place if all the detail items were corrected. no stopper for tub to give kids baths, no door coverings, blinds on windows cheap, bath towels cheap, for not much money this could really be nice.

Nice accomodations

We had a nice stay, the location was great, the rental was comfortable, everything was in working order, and the whole process was very low stress. The owners did not put a lot of demands on the renters and we had a great trip.

Family August get away

Our family of four adults enjoyed our stay at this short term rental, located within easy walking distance to downtown activities as advertised. Note, the entrance to Watkins Glen State Park gorge trail is an easy 10 min walk. Nothing fancy accommodations, but clean and up-to-date. Would recommend a set of kitchen knives and a new grill. Otherwise, as expected.

Watkins Glen

The house is just a couple of blocks from Watkins Glen State Park, restaurants, the lake and shopping. It is conveniently located and we were able to walk everywhere in town. The house is also within a 5-15 minute drive to multiple wineries and waterfalls in the area. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The parking area was full of large pieces of debris that had apparently washed over the retaining wall. This was reported , but was not cleaned up during our stay. There were plenty of soft large towels in the bathroom. However, the tub/shower is on a raised platform. The tub bottom was very slick. I would suggest a bar to assist with getting into the tub and non-slip strips in the bottom of the tub. The mattresses in the rooms we used appeared to be of the older pillow top variety and were not exceptionally comfortable. Overall, for the price, the house met our needs for a short stay.

The property was perfectly situated in downtown Watkins Glen and a quick drive to Seneca. The wings at Landons are the best!

Very clean and cozy. Met our needs. Great location

Longer stays are inconvenient with no washer/dryer. Just additional or second delivery of towels would have been great, Suggest a small table and hooks to store jackets shoes at entry. Curtains did not provide a lot of privacy.

Long Weekend Celebrating 40 year anniversaries

It was adequate. We had a problem with the shower curtain and rod and it was fixed the same day we complained so I do not have an issue with that. However, there wasn't a broom and dustpan available for us to use to pick up after ourselves. The kitchen didn't have coffee filters for the machine they supplied. We use VRBO because we don't want to go out to dinner (CoVid) and we could use the dishwasher only 3 times as there weren't enough cleaning supplies. The last breakfast we washed by hand. One bedroom had a closet, but the other two didn't have a hook to hang anything. The bedroom with the closet didn't have a fan or a window. There were 4 adults, so we were able to enjoy ourselves, but not sure I would use this particular place again.

Weekend getaway

We booked this property for our first time in Watkins Glen. It was perfect. Very up to date, clean and quiet. Only a 5 minute walk to the park and to the lake. I am hoping to stay here again.

Great location

Pros: Great location in Watkins Glen. Able to walk to the harbor, restaurants and Watkins Glen State Park. Easy check in & check out. Management responded immediately when we had an issue. Cons: If you have allergies, this is not the place for you. Also, there is only 1 A/C unit in the main living area so you have to leave the bedroom doors open at night if using A/C and no window covering on the back door and only sheer curtains on the windows. Expect early wake up from the sun- or bring tinfoil to cover the windows!
