Wine Trail Dreams - 2 BR Cottage - Perfect location on the Seneca Wine Trail!

Welcome to Wine Trail Dreams! Located on the West side of Seneca on ST RT 14 in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine trail. This 2 BR 1 bath cottage is beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and ready for your stay to enjoy an amazing trip to the Finger Lakes.

Charm and comfort abound in this home - original hard wood floors are located throughout and comfortable living room seating with cable TV and blu-ray player to catch up on your movie watching. There is a large dining table to sit and eat, play games or put together a puzzle. A fully fenced in backyard with large covered deck provides a great place to relax and unwind with that bottle of wine you purchased. The kitchen is well appointed and includes, for coffee lovers, your option of either a Keurig or brewed coffee maker.

The 2 BRs have queen beds with high quality mattresses and luxury linens. Each bedroom is equipped with cable TV and are both "smart" TVs if you have a Netflix or other account you want to log into. Plenty of storage for your clothes and has convenient charging stations on your night stands to get your electronics ready for the next day.

We are dog friendly for your house broken, well trained furry friend (additional fee applies).

Great location for wine trail

We had a wonderful weekend going to the Seneca wine trail event and hiking around the local area. We travel with our dogs often and the fenced in backyard was amazing. The house was well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a weekend on the wine trail. Close to both wineries as well as multiple state parks and national forest it was perfect for us. The beds weee comfortable and the house was clean and had everything we could want.

Convenient location

The house was in a convenient location to several of the wineries we wanted to visit and a comfortable size for the two of us. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the back porch and private yard because of the cold and snow, but it would be wonderful during nice weather. Our only issue was with the road noise. The house is directly on Highway 14, which makes for noticeable road noise during the day, but better at night with less traffic.

Wine down getaway

Pet friendly weekend get away. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. This cottage was perfect. It was close to restauraunts, wineries, and breweries. Some hiking trails within 30 minutes that our dog loved as well. Such as the Finger Lakes National Forest. It had all items for cooking a meal at home too. Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good location near Seneca Lake

Close to Watkins Glen, nice for hiking, numerous restaurants and wineries within short driving distance. Host provided everything promised, house was clean and easy to locate. Good experience.

Okay stay at cozy cottage

House was located on the main road, which was convenient for driving around to explore the area, however don't expect a good night rest. House could use some TLC, a deep clean and dehumidifier as it has an extremely musty odor throughout. Backyard and patio was enjoyable. Check-in was easy, overall our stay was okay.

Not well kept

Grass was not cut, windows were filthy, garbage was left outside, two bags of garbage left in outside garbage can which smelled horrible. Back deck and door were filthy. 4 towels and washcloths for 2 people for 4 days. No wash cloth for dishes. Cheapest toilet paper I've seen.

Great place for me and my dog

This was a wonderful place! I loved the fenced in yard for my dog and the location was perfect for touring the Seneca Lake area. Also appreciated the lovely Toast Winery next door. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing house next to an amazing winery Toast

Very clean house very close to a lot of wineries and parks. Also walking distance to Toast winery. Owners are extremely nice and easy to communicate with. Will book again

Perfect location

We were 2 couples and we stayed for 3 nights. The property was in a perfect location, the perfect size and had everything we needed. The house is right beside TOAST winery which was lovely. We went there last but it was our favourite. You must try the "Rita" It was very hot but the air conditioning units kept the house nice and cool. The back deck was a great place to have our morning coffee and to unwind after a day of sight seeing. The house is in close proimity to so many wineries and breweries. Also very close to Watkins Glen and the amazing Gorge trail, a must see for sure. We would definitely go back.

Dream Vaca

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was conveniently located close to Watkins Glen but yet far enough away from all the traffic. We loved the homeyness when we got home each evening after seeking waterfalls in the area. Recliners would be a nice add on but realize they don’t last long. The patio was nice with the backyard for my fur baby

We enjoyed our stay. House was a perfect layout with fenced backyard and covered patio in rear.

Drainage in kitchen sink appears slow. Ideal vacation location.

It’s a clean, peaceful location and next-door to a Winery called toast pretty cool place to visit if your rental wine tasting and I am so me and my fiancé enjoy that I recommend this place. I will stay again.

Excellent Location!

We had a great time at this property. Less than 10 minutes to Watkins Glen and the Gorge Trail. Multiple wineries with 10 minutes. Also a bunch of markers markets and local farm stores within 20 minutes. We really enjoyed exploring the area and then winding down on the back porch at night after a day out. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to explore the Watkins Glen or Seneca Lake Wine Trail.

Hiking vacation with dogs.

Nice little cottage with fenced in backyard right next to Toast Winery Short distance from downtown Watkins Glen and the State Park. Our dogs enjoyed the backyard while we sat on the covered side of the porch.

We have been frequent visitors to the Finger Lakes region for years when living in the NJ area - we have always loved it here, the landscape, the lake, the wineries and vineyards. After spending a few years in North Carolina for work, we decided it was time to make the move back up North to be closer to family and roots. We decided to come back to the area we so love and adore, and make it our full time home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We had a small vacation rental in the Smoky Mountains of NC. We loved getting the opportunity to share the region with others, taking pride in providing a clean, well appointed and "homey" destination for travelers. When the opportunity became available to acquire this property we were excited to be able to have the chance to do the same here. This property was a previous vacation rental - but we have taken great care to update and provide our own unique touches to make it our own for others to enjoy.

We love that this property is right on the main wine trail of Seneca Lake with easy access to the most popular and traveled wineries and vineyards in the region. Love the charm of this house with its original wood floors and kitchen cabinetry but with updated features to give it a clean fresh feel. Minutes from downtown Watkins Glen gives access to local shopping and dining. We are dog lovers - and love to bring our small dogs with us when we travel. The fenced in back yard is the perfect retreat for your dog.
