Our stay was excellent. We went up with family so me and my fiance could get married and it was the best weekend ever. The cabin was huge and all the rooms were exactly the same so it made room assignment super easy.
We had a great time at this cabin. When we arrived, the A/C had a hard time keeping up with the high temps outside which would have been difficult to deal with, however, the property owner was extremely helpful and brought over a window unit very quickly. It brought the temp inside back down to normal and everything went great! Our only complaint was that the couches had seen better days and were a little uncomfortable but with all of the activities to do in town, we didn't spend much time sitting on them.
The property was great. The setup was really nice. Having 4 jet tubs was so nice. The parking area is flat, which was so helpful when you're on the side of a mountain. We had everything we needed like dish washer detergent, paper towels, shampoo/ conditioner and things like that. The pictures arent updated. The TVs are smart TVs and the coffee pot had the normal pot and the pods. We would like to return when its colder so we enjoy the hot tub and sauna more. We had a very nice stay.
Honey bear Hideaway was a cute cabin with everything we needed for our stay in Gatlinburg. The location was great: close enough to all the activities in Gatlinburg but away from the traffic. My only suggestion would be to include a small map or street location to the community pool. We eventually found it but had to look on the internet and Google maps to locate it.
We stayed for a tournament in town and there was plenty of room for us and our friends. The beds were comfy and clean, the kitchen was big enough for everyone, and the amenities were nice.
Whoever cleans this does an amazing job it was clean. I didnât realize the cabins were so close to each other we had one night with very loud obnoxious neighbors. Didnât use the hot tub but it was making a humming noise so we opened it and found it less than 1/2 full so we filled it. That should have been addressed before we arrived I feel. itâs close to attractions which was nice. You should replace the couch itâs not comfortable. If you have a dog just know there really isnât much of anywhere to take it out to potty. The beds were comfy! If your looking for a nice view of the mountains this isnât the place for you it sits low and too many trees in the way
Honey Bear Hideaway is well designed to accommodate couples and children. We loved sharing time together in front of the fireplace in the living room, the porches and the rec room, while still having the privacy of our own suites. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious. The location is close to the action and attractions of Gatlinburg. The Artisan Loop was close by, as well as Cosby.Even closer was a grocery store, shopping, gas etc., so it was easy and convenient to shop for the necessities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin for families or friends traveling together.
