Bungalow was awesome, well kept and clean. I was staying in Fort Myers with work, after working 12 hour days it was refreshing come back to a place that felt like home. Great neighborhood for walking, and convenient to downtown. Steve was a great host, prompt response to calls, highly recommended, didnât want to leave.
We absolutely loved our 3 week stay at the Bungalow. Such a quaint, beautiful home in a wonderful quiet area. Steve was always available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed many walks, taking the Trolley down town, relaxing in the hot tub and pool and sitting on the front porch. We will definitely come back!
We had a wonderful stay . Close to many activities. The pool is just perfect for chilling . Love the front porch (a porch swing would be sweet!)đ Already thinking about staying next year .
Really enjoyed our stay at The Bungalow!! Loved the pool. A few minor issues but overall, we had a great time. Steve was very easy to get in contact with. Excellent host!! Check In and Out was a breeze.
Beautiful, Quiet historic palm lined neighborhood was close to many attractions we enjoyed.
We loved this bungalow! Having the pool was great! We were there
during the Coronavirus so that was a godsend to enjoy it every day without worrying about social distancing. Itâs an easy walk to downtown Ft. Myers. Wonderful restaurants! Very nice shops!
The owner was easy to get ahold of. We didnât have any problems.
A great stay even though we went back home a little early due to the Caronavirus,
We stayed in the craftsman bungalow for two weeks. What a cute historic cottage, with a pool and a functioning hot tub,as we have learned this is not always been the case with hot tubs. Clean with most everything you could need in the kitchen and for going to the beach. No lack of linens or towels. Close enough to walk to downtown Fort Myers about 20 minutes for a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. Your home was a great experience.Thank you Steven for being a wonderful host,we hope to visit with you again in the future.
Great location in a nicely renovated bungalow, minutes from downtown
This is a charming, renovated bungalow situated in an historic neighbourhood very close (20 min walk) to downtown Ft Myers. It is very centrally located so that many other activities (beaches, golf, grocery stores and shopping centres etc) are easily accessible by car. It is very quiet and part of a regular neighbourhood on a nice street. The home is tastefully decorated and fully renovated with modern conveniences. I really enjoyed feeling part of the neighbourhood and would highly recommend it.

We have just completed a 30-day stay at the bungalow, and the experience suited our needs perfectly. Owner Steve responded quickly to a small problem we had on check-in, and checked periodically to ensure everything was OK. The house is exactly as shown on VRBO. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we felt completely safe the entire time. The house was very well supplied with everything you would need for any vacation. Downtown pubs/restaurants are a short 2 minute drive, the bridge to Cape Coral 1 minute, and Ford/Edison estates only about 5 minutes. Sanibel Island causeway is about 35 minutes. Pool/hot-tub very private. We liked it so much we were going to book for next year but it was already taken. Great value for the money. You will not go wrong booking a relaxing vacation here.
We stayed in this Craftsman Bungalow for 2 weeks. The home is almost 100 years old so you feel like you have stepped back in time. Anything that concerned my husband and me initially (1 bathroom, small kitchen) quickly did not matter at all!! We fell in love with The Bungalow. It has been beautifully restored and is very comfortable and cozy!! We had some visitors during our stay and we were all happy to be there. It is on a quiet residential street so it is perfect for walks and bike rides! We met a few of the friendly neighbors and were even invited to a Neighborhood Progressive Dinner! :>)) We absolutely loved being within walking distance of the Historic Downtown of Fort Myers! It was less than a mile so we walked downtown almost daily! We discovered 6-7 coffee shops (one being Starbucks but who needs Starbucks when the others are awesome!) and lots of great restaurants! Our first weekend, we enjoyed the Seafood Festival downtown, too. All in all, we loved our stay at the Bungalow! I cannot end this without adding how great Steve and Nancy were to work with!! You could not ask for better hosts/owners!! The house was well stocked with basic needs and clean. Also, before, during and after our stay, Steve would answer any questions we had within a VERY short time! If we return to the Fort Myers area, we would certainly like to stay here again!
it was a great week at this wonderful 1920's bungalow.
Super comfortable with a nice front porch perfect for early morning coffee. Host was super attentive. We have already booked for next year.
We enjoyed our stay at this Craftsman Bungalow. The home was on a quiet street. It was a quaint home. It had a Beautiful front porch, a lanai with a pool & hot tub, a very relaxing home. Steve was very helpful with any thing we needed. It was a fun 2 weeks. We would stay their again.
This beautiful 1926 Bungalow in Historic Dean Park neighborhood was perfect for us. Loved the charm of the house with the added âmodernâ amenities of the lanaiâs pool and hot tub. Steven gave good check in Instructions & was responsive to our questions. Available Pool towels, basket of sunscreen/etc and access to beach buggy, umbrella & chairs and grill was a nice touch. We did the self guided walking tour of the neighborhood to view the homes built in early 1900âs & often had morning coffee on the big front porch to listen to the Bahama Mockingbird, watch the many dog walkers and the neighbor cats. All were friendly. Itâs an easy walk to First St for the shops & restaurants; short drive to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island and Matlacha. Note: the shower requires a step into & out of claw foot tub; which may be problem if there are any knee or mobility issues.
The Kraft bugalow was like walking back into a the time of my grandparents but with comveinences of today. Although no dishwasher it had everything else. We give it a four as the hot tub went out and the pool was not as clean as it could be. We would recommend if you want a place with charm near downtown. Anout 40 mins from the beaches. We plan on returning.
We had the distinct pleasure of living in this charming 100 year old Craftsman Bungalow for 7 weeks while I was in Fort Myers working for the Minnesota Twins 2019 Spring Training operations at Hammond Stadium. The location could hardly be better ... just a 20 minute walk to the Downtown River District and its many events, and a short drive to Hammond Stadium, beaches, craft breweries, parks/preserves, and malls.
While near downtown, the neighborhood is amazingly quiet and a great starting point for my long early morning walks. Steve and Nancy have the home well furnished and out-fitted with everything needed for even an extended stay, we simply stocked the refrigerator upon arrival.
After a short time, the bungalow truly felt like home. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to spend the 2019 season renting here.
