Great little cottage near E Matunuck Beach. Well-equipped kitchen. Perfect for our family of 5. Nice that the futon area could be closed off with a curtain for privacy. AC cooled the cottage quickly. Easy walk to the beach and right across from Matunuck Oyster Bar and Capn Jacks. Views of the marsh and Potter Pond were lovely on our morning and evening walks. Kids loved jumping in the surf at E Matunuck and looking for crabs at the little beach at Jim’s Dock.

Property is on potter’s pond with direct access for paddling. Very close to beach and cute community. These are very small units and we could have used more space to put our things. There were dressers but the owners left their belongings in them. The communication with the listing agent was spotty. We luckily had no urgent issues. The place was very clean and cozy. Air conditioning works great. Recommend if you are a small party and you pack light! There is a laundry facility on the property coin operated no laundry in the unit. Outdoor shower was very nice and there is another shower in the cabin. Nice deck and back patio with water views. Great location for a reasonably priced cottage with direct water access.

Short Stay but great location

Cottage was wonderful and as advertised. AC worked great. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Would recommend highly!

Potters pond cottage

Stayed 4 nights and everything went smoothly. It's my 3rd time there, and 4th at potters pond. Its our vacation spot now.

Anniversary Getaway

Overall great stay! Great location, close to the water and beach. Plenty of things to do, the weekend was definitely not enough. We were able to go to Block Island via ferry and that was a short drive away. Had some great seafood at Matunuck Oyster Bar and Dead Eye Dick's on Block Island. Lovely stay for a great price!

TERRIBLE HOST

Host cancelled first night of a three night stay due to impending hurricane three days prior to arrival. I understood the situation and had to find new accommodations. I have yet to get my refund from this host despite numerous messages back and forth. Host claims I received a partial credit or refund from VRBO, which I did not. I have contacted Vrbo directly to help get my money back. Host is offering only 70% refund. I have used these types of accommodations for almost all my travels over the past few years and have never had such a problem trying to work with a host. Rude, condescending, and combative. BEWARE

Unfortunately this traveler didn't realize she booked for a nightly rate that was different for one night vs. the next. Unlike other realtors in the area, I allowed her to cancel the first night due to the hurricane yet she wanted the blended rate / night back. I tried to explain that she only gets the night back that we canceled and she didn't seem to get it. She ended up getting the higher rate back and I lost 70 dollars (my commission is very little on these).

A nice well-kept cottage though bedrooms are quite small and crowded. Moving in and out was simple. East Matunuck beach was excellent Cottage is well furnished right down to toilet paper. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Excellent 2 night getaway!

The place was clean and quaint but perfect for us. Had a small issue with outdoor shower. Greg come over early on the morning to fix it so for a shower next night! Close To everything beach and restaurants across The street. Loved the kayaks too!

Very relaxing!

The cottage is very clean and has many interesting decorations to look at. It’s rather small but it was fine for the two of us for a short getaway. The little village it is located in is very nice. Capn Jack’s seafood is across the street and was very good. However, the Oyster Bar across the waterway was outstanding! We ate there 3 times during a 3 night stay. Matunuck Beach is a minute down the street and lovely. Very quiet, relaxing stay.
