Situé près du réservoir de brookville et des magasins d'antiquités dans la ville de cambridge. Richmond est à 15 miles de la propriété, tandis que connersville est de 6 miles

Trois chambres au deuxième étage avec une salle de bain complète, le premier étage offre un grand salon, cuisine, salle à manger et une salle de bain complète et demi. Il y a une grande salle de boue à l'arrière de la maison. La propriété a des jardins, donc il y aura des légumes frais mis à la disposition des clients. Il y a des ruches à l'arrière de la propriété, ce qui rendra le miel disponible pour les invités.

Our host, Heather, was great. Very friendly, easy check in and quick tour of the house was appreciated. The house was clean and very unique given how old it is. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Felt like home

Had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. So much more relaxing than being in a hotel room. Nice to have the kitchen for tea and evening snacks. And full size fridge to keep our goodies.

Beautiful farm house for a weekend vacation

My girlfriend and I stayed here while we went and shopped at all the antique stores near by. We enjoyed the beautiful layout of the farm house and how it had a country feel. We also enjoyed relaxing and playing board games at night. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a nice and relaxing weekend get away from the fast pace city life!

We thank you for having booked Milton haus. I’m sorry you experienced difficulty with our furniture. We’ve had over 163 bookings and we’ve only had 2 complaints about furniture. (One about firm bed and a futon). I’m sorry you had back surgery and we didn’t meet your needs. I’ll add a notation to our description for future guests. Three stars for the futon in the living room? I’m sorry everything else: like the cleanliness, upgrades to the property, brand new appliances in kitchen/bathroom, three bedroom house that’s at a fair price point (when compared to others at $350/night) didn’t meet your needs.

Bedroom and bed mattress was clean and comfortable. Experience in the open field farm house was very unusual and interesting for us. The owners are kind and house equipment was perfect to live for 2 nights.

Just perfect for us

We found the Milton Haus on VRBO after doing some searching. The home is a wonderful mixture of its 100 year old architecture and ambiance as well as some of the upgrades (such as central air and plumbing) that our current society is so accustom to. The home is both comfortable and somewhat cozy and contains everything I could imagine to make anyone's stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this property if you are in the area. Charming Farmhouse, but close to loud road

This farmhouse was a pleasant stay for the one night we were there. Unfortunately, being an older house, it was noisy at night being so near a major road. But there was lots of space and it was tidy. A little dusty etc. but overall a nice stay.

Thanks for the review and for staying with us. If you’re from the city, the road is definitely quieter at night. It is not interstate traffic, but is a highway that brings traffic to the nearest town. Our address indicates a state road, but I’ve updated the listing to state that it can be loud at points during the day, but it will not keep you awake at night. As indicated, it’s a 100 year old home, even when dusted, there may be some dust here and there. The house is located on 150 acres of property that is being actively farmed, so even with a brand new hvac system, dust continues to be carried. Again, thanks for the feedback!

Nice taste of rural Indiana

I stayed here for a couple weeks while my only bathroom was being renovated and found it comforting for temporary living. Just about everything you need during your stay is provided. Quaint rural Hoosier setting with modern conveniences one would expect. Good restaurants and essentials shopping not far away. The master bed is very comfortable. Heather and John are most accommodating and very kind. This place has to be the best accomodations in the greater area for the price. I would recommend for any Eastern/Central Indiana visit.

The house was amazing, we loved it. There were a couple things that I wish they would have had. All bedrooms are up stairs and there were no ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms. We had to purchase a fan in order to sleep. Maybe a fan in each room would be nice. Also, the only cable TV was downstairs, each room had a very small TV with a DVD player, plenty of DVD's. It would be nice, if there were smart TV's in each of the rooms, since they have WIFI. Other than those two small things, the place was amazing, the price was amazing and the owners were extremely nice. We will be staying there again.

Hunting Trip

My family and I take a annual hunting trip every year and normally stay in a hotel. This blew the hotel out of the water. The house was very spacious, clean, and cozy. Heather was great to work with and replied quickly. We will definitely be staying here again!

The stant family settled on the property, they ran the Stant Auto Manufacturing company in Connersville, which is still operational today. In addition to operating the company, this property was purchased and a farm started to operate in 1918. The old farm house is filled with windows on all sides, has three bedrooms and full bath on the second floor. On the first floor there is a huge living room with fireplace, big kitchen and dining room, as well as a full and half bath.

This property offers solitude from urban life, the location is near multiple attractions, while offerring the chance of getting away from a busy life. While you’re away from the city, there is still some street noise due to cars passing- property sits on highway 1.
