Perfect three bedroom place with a roomy antique themed decor. Living room and kitchen were perfect. Centrally located downtown Foresthill near many halls and venues. Would have liked a second bathroom but great value for the price.
Antiques, quiant and comfortable for 2 couples, 2 nights. Everything you could want was there including books, games, tv, front yard, back yard, and cafe across the street!
We went up there for a friends wedding and the place was perfect. Location, size parking everything. We really enjoyed the place people and such a great little town
The house was in a really good location to walk around town. The bakery was right next door, which was cool. A deep clean (tops of pictures and fixtures) is needed, but overall the house was tidy. Itâs an older building, so the antiques were a neat touch. A few repairs would make it nicer, but it was a great alternative to a hotel in Auburn.
We stayed here for a wedding at the Forest House Lodge and it was perfect to be able to walk there and back. The house was clean and spacious. Highly recommended!
It was exactly what we needed for going to a wedding at the Lodge. It's a about a block away from the wedding venue and also close to a nice park. The house has a lot of character and is a fun place to stay. We had one problem with the water heater but contacted the owners and they were on top of it immediately.
The property was a little bit run down with a broken bathroom door and messed up blinds and a whole at the back door. But the property was close to everything including our wedding venue.
We had minimal issues with the house but the TV did not work as advertised and the outside of the house is covered in spiderwebs and could use a good power-washing
The house is located right off Foresthill Road. If you happen to be coming for WSER, the location is perfect for crewing, within an hour-ish of all aid stations in the last 75 miles - for Foresthill AS, we were actually able to crew practically from the front porch. The house was comfortable for our group of 7, but for a longer stay, I think itâs more ideally suited for a party of 6. The host was very gracious in letting us know when the house was ready so we could check in a couple hours early, which was very helpful. Itâs not fancy, but it was absolutely perfect for our needs!
We were a group of 6 family members who needed a place to stay for 1 night before whitewater rafting the next morning. This place fit the bill. There were decent beds for everyone, and a fully functional kitchen to make breakfast. It was within walking distance of a coffee place and a pub for dinner.
I stayed with my granddaughter, for the night before her wedding day!âŠâŠIt was just PERFECT!! We âchattedâ, while the âflower girlsâ, watched a movie. The morning of her wedding, 6 bridesmaids came to get ready, sipping mimosaâs, snacking, most of all, laughing, gabbing, and even tears! Packing up, in the rain was chaotic, but we made it to the Veterans Hall, just up the streetâŠâonlyâ a little late! Such a memorable day!,
I want to thank Wendy, for allowing us a late check out, which was SO important!! Her house is ADORABLE, with the most COMFORTABLE bed I have EVER slept in!!
No central heat. Two space heaters warm limited areas. Was shivering from cold inside house. No sound for tv.
Property mgr did not return call for info. Lots of square footage. Decent furnishings. Excellent location for downtown wedding.
We want to thank our host for their warm and cozy vrbo. When we arrived their was a log in the wood stove, the house was clean and well appointed. It was the perfect location to visit our family in Foresthill, thank you!
My sons wedding was a 3-day event at Forest House Lodge. This house on Gold Street is the best location for guests. The other 1-bedroom cottage is just outside the back door, so super convenient to others in the group. Walking distance!
