Toute l'année - Superbes 180 degrés vue imprenable sur le lac sur un lot surdimensionné, très privé. Un accès facile et en douceur à l'énorme 122 acres lac naturel avec votre propre quai. Niveau pelouse droit vers le lac, avec 300 pieds de façade sur le lac. Utilisation de 2 canots, kayak et chaloupe. Confidentialité totale, pas de voisins directs. En été, une plage avec des sauveteurs, centre de loisirs, aire de jeux et un restaurant à seulement 2 minutes à pied. Des courts de tennis, de basket et terrain de balle à seulement 5 minutes à pied.

En bas - Profitez de la salle de séjour avec des canapés pour se détendre, et de la cuisine d'été, qui est juste à côté de l'énorme véranda fermée donnant sur le lac. Il ya aussi une salle de bain complète à ce niveau, et la chambre des enfants avec un lit superposé jumeau. Profitez d'un livre dans le salon (avec un lit de jour), ou se préparer pour la nuit dans la chambre, avec deux lits jumeaux. Pour votre confort, il y a aussi une laveuse et une sécheuse.

A l'étage - Profitez des vues imprenables sur le lac de la plate-forme enveloppante, ou cuisiner sur le gril à gaz. Prenez une tasse de café du matin dans la véranda à l'étage, ou installez-vous simplement pour lire un bon livre. La grande salle vous attend, avec un mur de fenêtres donnant sur le lac. Rassemblez ici pour vos soirées agréables à la maison. La cuisine avec tous les nouveaux appareils et salle à manger sont à ce niveau, et une autre salle de bain complète avec baignoire. Reposez-vous pendant la nuit dans la chambre de maître avec un lit queen et walk-in. Lounge dans la grande salle, avec vue sur le lac expansives pour un lieu de rassemblement parfait sur fraîches nuits d'été. Invitez vos amis pour un barbecue et regarder les étoiles la nuit. Les enfants peuvent jouer et avoir du plaisir avec notre collection énorme de livres ou de jeux de société et puzzles.

À l'automne - Les belles couleurs de l'automne sont reflétées dans le lac. Faire du canoë ou du kayak sur le lac, les journées sont encore ensoleillé et chaud. Les nuits sont très croustillante, et vous pouvez utiliser le foyer extérieur pour une merveilleuse soirée sous les étoiles. De Novembre à l'intérieur confortables en face d'un foyer au gaz magnifique et terminer votre soirée reposant sur les draps de flanelle dans chaque chambre.

En hiver - La maison est spectaculaire! Comme le lac est gelé, le patinage ou la pêche sur glace est une merveilleuse façon de passer votre journée. Pour les jours de neige, il ya une piste de luge de suite une très courte distance en voiture. Promenades sur le lac gelé sont une aventure. Ski et de tubes est disponible à proximité de Shawnee Mountain. Quelle que soit la météo, vous pourrez vous réchauffer l'intérieur par nos foyers à gaz autoportante.

Comme cela est une maison de style de la famille, elle ne convient pas pour After Prom Parties / sororités, fraternités et l'exemple, et ne peut être louée à des groupes scolaires, etc.

Perfect lake getaway!

Had a very relaxing stay at the lake house. The view off the top deck is worth every penny. Will defiantly return next time I'm in the area and take more advantage of all this property has to offer.

Absolutely beautiful and great for kids!

The house was incredibly comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake (we even saw a beaver swimming by). It's fantastic for kids -- there's a big yard to play in, the kids' kayaks were perfect, and a beach w playground is a 2 minute walk from the house. A wonderful stay!!!

The owners take great pride in and care of their home and it shows. Everything you need is provided and the owners are very responsive to any concerns that you have. Clean as a whistle!

Thank you Jennifer! This place has everything you need, both in and out. Jennifer has much experience with rentals as everything you can possibly think you may need is actually there! The lake is beautiful and quite and you can just walk to Jimmy’s, just a few houses down, if you want to eat. 2 canoes, 3 kayaks, and a row boat for use- not to mention tons of life jackets for any size. The view from the Great Room is absolutely stunning. Once again, thank you for having the house so clean and tidy! Sincerely, David

Lakefront gem

What an amazing property! Swimming, boating, fishing, roasting marshmallows and plenty of indoor activities if it rains. Jennifer was the best host - the home was fully equipped and she took the time to go over all the amenities in detail. The kids had as much fun as the adults and we definitely hope to visit again!

Great house, beautiful location!

We came for a weekend with a group of 8 people, we were very comfortable. Great house, great location, house has everything you need to entertain yourself, from kayaks,boats and games. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone that is looking to getaway for a weekend.

Wonderful vacation home

My family and I spent a week at this lovely home on the lake. I have an 11-year-old and a 5-year-old. The house was perfect with a range of activities that fit each of our interests. There were board games for all ages and building toys. We had brought some games and toys, but once we arrived, I realized we didn't have to. We paddled in the canoes and kayaks, and swam both off the dock and at the lake beach. The location was ideal--just down the block from the beach, where there was a playground, a recreation room, and a restaurant. It was also positioned really well for trips to trails at the Delaware Water Gap and to the town of Milford. The home itself was perfectly set up for a family (or 2) and very well maintained--very clean with all the amenities. The outdoor shower made clean up after fun in the water very easy, too. The view from the house is stunning. We will definitely return.

Didn't Want to Leave!

This was our second stay at this property, and it was just as good as the first. We swam from the dock out back, took the canoes and kayaks out every day, biked around the community (our youngest learned to ride without training wheels during our stay!) and played at the beach just up the street. Two of the kids even caught fish (which we promptly released to live another day.) Downtime was spent playing some of the games at the house, toasting marshmallows, even playing tag under the stars in the backyard. The bigger kids did a high ropes course about half an hour away while the younger ones took in a movie. We stopped to visit Dingman Falls on the way back to the house. With that stop and nearby Childs Park, it made a total of five waterfalls for this trip (we saw Raymondskill Falls last year.) Even the wildlife was fun. There was a mother deer with her twins, a million chipmunks and squirrels, and yep, two bears near the north end of the lake. We watched the fish in the lake and the water striders zigzag away as the kayaks came near. You can see there's plenty to do, the house is comfortable and the result is a vacation that I didn't want to leave. The owner makes sure you know how to operate everything in the house and everything except food is provided, making this an easy trip.

Wonderous views!

Held a small family reunion at this house (5 adults, 2 children) and it suited us very well. Jennifer did a walk-through over the phone (we arrived late) and was super-helpful and very friendly. Awoke to great views and full morning sunlight, as the house is on the west side of the lake. The house comes with a nice selection of watercraft to use... We really enjoyed using the canoe to cruise around the lake at dusk, after the wind quieted down a bit. The house included life-vests for both adults and children- very nice. My brother also caught some enormous bluegills off the dock with a fly rod and my niece did great job of netting the fish. House is well maintained and clean, only minor negative feedback was the kitchen was a touch musty, but that was easily 'aired' out. I would definitely want to stay here again.

Perfect Family Weekend

Jennifer was quick and friendly to answer my questions, and worked with us on our arrival and departure times. Once we arrived, the house was exactly as described. Eight of us fit comfortably inside and we enjoyed using the canoe and fire pit in the backyard. The grill was great for making dinner too! Sunrises were beautiful on the lake and the property is very peaceful. We saw deer in the backyard as well as a bald eagle soaring by. The location was also great for a hike at Bushkill Falls and to visit Milford. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back when the weather is warmer!

Perfect!

To say that this is a wonderful vacation home is an understatement! We had two families with a total of four adults and six kids and we had more than enough room for everyone! All you need to bring is food because EVERYTHING else is provided. The kids loved the dock and all the boats that are right there at the house. The beach is a short walk away but honestly we enjoyed being at the house more because there was so much to do. Can't wait to go back!

Sparkle Hut

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Sparkle Hut"!! Not only clean and neat, but just about anything of need or to help make a fun visit for all ages was provided!! Upon our next visit to the Poconos, we will definitely stay here again!

"Sparkle Hut" Really Sparkles!

From booking to our exit, these owners made "home base" for our Pocono family vacation a pure pleasure! John and Jennifer are courteous and VERY quick to respond to every inquiry. The house is just rustic enough to remind you that you're in the mountains, but everything you need is at your fingertips. The owners' "toybox" is full of vacation fun... from floating to rowing, outside toys and inside games. We walked to the beach, but were awfully happy to get back to the serenity of "our" dock and lush backyard. Porches and decks, chairs and hammocks... we enjoyed every square inch of this pretty lakeside home. Even on the warmest days, we could get out of the heat, and evenings meant throwing open the windows and pulling up the blankets. Beds and couches are all comfortable with abundant pillows and blankets. The community is sprawling and well kept and very secure. Quiet and secluded, just as promised. Our party of seven had more than enough room, and would only consider this home in a future visit. Enjoy!!!

Our Daughter calls this home 'Sparkle Hut', because of how the sun sparkles on the lake each morning. We spend lots of time outdoors with our family, and take advantage of all of the fun things to see and do in the Delaware River area.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Owning a home on the lake was important, and this is a stunning natural lake. Our family loves to canoe and kayak, and the lifeguarded beach down the street made this home a great choice for us. When this property became available, we jumped at the chance to restore it to the beauty we knew it could be. The grounds and setting were so nice, we made it so the lake could be viewed from the many, many windows in the home. We added all modern appliances, upgraded the bathrooms, and made the house as nice as the nature that surrounds this unique property.

Sparkle Hut is situated on a rare, triple size lot that is wooded and unbuildable on both sides for complete privacy. 180 degree views of the lake are unobstructed. A full lawn of grass lakeside provides a near level access to the lake. The house fronts the center of the lake at its deepest and widest part which offers the best views and boating opportunities. Community amenities including the beach, rec room, and restaurant are just a two minute walk.
