Great location for beach and restaurants. Fun watching boats on inter-coastal. Great communication with owner. I gave a 5 for cleanliness, but bathroom rugs couldâve been cleaner.
Nice, clean, spacious rental right on the intracoastal waterway. TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Backyard with table and seats is next to waterway.
The property owner is very helpful and takes care of any questions or issues right away.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Deerfield Beach.
The location is great for those people who do not mind walking to the beach as parking is extremely limited at the Deerfield Beach ( the parking garage is almost the same distance as the house is from the beach.) We all enjoyed being on the intercoastal waterway and watching the many boats that constantly passed the house. Distance to beach 0.45 mi. - The house was quite clean except for the closets, but in great need of a make over. There was peeling paint in a number of rooms and the baths and the kitchen needed to be updated. Supplies for the 6 days was limited: 1 garbage bag and a tiny bit of dish soap, no shower soap, shampoo, or conditioner which I would have expected for the price I paid. The owner was promote in delivering supplies when asked, but he only brought 2 bags and a diluted, used dish soap bottle. The owner had provided toilet tissue and laundry soap. We did see a cockroach the last day we were there. However, in fairness to the owner, we had declined pesticides to be used at mid week due to allergies. I would not stay here again as the price is way too high for what was provided.
Great views of the intercoastal await you when you stay here.
Short walk to the beach and center of town.
Place is dated, but has all you need, including 2 parking spaces, full kitchen, laundry, internet, 3 TVs, etc.
The view from this property cannot be overstated, It is right on the Intercostal with a daily parade of all size boats passing. It is also directly across from a nature reserve so you are not looking into someone's backyard. Lots of wild life to see. It is a short ride (or walk) over the Intercoastal to Sullivan Park where you can get a free boat ride over to the reserve which has walking trails. We had our grandchildren over for a few nights and they loved the reserve as well as Sullivan Park which has a "fountain pool" and playground for kids. They also enjoyed fishing off the patio. The house is only a short 8 minute walk to the beach and "downtown" Deerfield Beach where everything is happening. We had a slight problem with the AC but Al took care of it immediately. The four star rating for cleanliness is only because the cleaning crew left the toaster oven with used tinfoil and crumbs in it. Also, the shower in the master bath could have been scrubbed a little better. Overall this was a great place to stay - plenty of room, great TVs and the incredible view.
Enjoyed our stay! Wonderful location on the water, enjoyed watching the boats go by everyday! Walking distance to the beach & restaurants. Thank you Al!
My family and I loved the place, it was neat and comfortable. The patio was definitely one of our favorite feature, we could just sit and watch the boat show on the intracoastal. Our 2 kids (9 and 10) loved chasing around lizards and being able to observe so close the Iguanas coming to get a sun bath a few feet away from us. On the other side of the intracoastal is Deerfield Island park, a nature preserve and education center, so there is a lot of wildlife to watch. The apartment is very well oriented and it was especially nice to be able to sit inside the living room or lay in the bed and have the same nice view of the water and the island.
It is walking distance from a beach access and also from shops and restaurants. The owner is very nice and accommodating which made the stay even better. I would reserve it again in a heartbeat!
Great place. Position is perfect for beach bars shops in Deerfield. House is very comfortable and being right on the ICW made it great for fishing, chilling and watching all the boats go by. Would definitely stay here again.
This Waterfront Key West Style Duplex Home was a pleasure for our 1 week stay. It was a comfortable home. Not so overly fancy that we felt we shouldnât eat in the dining room, it was pleasant, homey and comfortably furnished. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the patio, watching the boats go by during the day and watching the sun set beyond the estuary in the evening.
Al, the property owner, came by with a welcome basket-so thoughtful. He made himself available and was promptly on hand when we had a minor tv cable issue.
Very nice property. We plan to return.
