We’re disappointed to read this characterization of your stay, as our team responded each time you reached out and worked with you throughout your visit to help make the unit more comfortable. Air conditioning is not advertised as an amenity for this property. There is a small supplemental system in the unit, but it is not intended to function as whole-home central AC. During your stay, the building was completing a repair affecting the system, and we confirmed with you once we received notice that it was back online. We also walked you through the recommended cooling approach for mountain homes in Steamboat, opening the windows during the much cooler evenings and overnight hours, then closing them during the day to retain that cooler air. We offered to bring additional fans and specifically asked whether there was anything else we could do to make you more comfortable. We absolutely understand that the downtown location and surrounding activity may not have been the right fit for your preferences, and we’re sorry you ultimately chose to leave early. However, we do want future guests to know that our team did not dismiss your concerns, we remained responsive, answered your questions each time you contacted us, provided solutions, and offered additional assistance throughout your stay. We are always here to ensure that our guests enjoy their time, no matter the time of day!
