Located in the Giant Sequoia National Monument. Open Beam Cabin with windows on all sides. Spacious open Living room with gorgeous views. 1 Bedroom on the main floor and large sleep loft upstairs. A kitchen stocked with every appliance you may need. The home is handicapped accessible however it does not have a walk in shower. And it is a carbon neutral home!

Solar was installed August 2022, home is now carbon neutral! Also AC has been added! This cabin is the traditional open beam open concept home. Focal point huge fireplace and a large sleeping loft.

You will have access to all spaces with the exception of the garage, master closet and under stairs storage. Those areas are used for the owners storage and housekeeping supplies.

The thermostat in the living room the end of the hallway controls the central heat system. There are 2 mini split heat/cool systems 1 in the master bedroom the other in the loft. The thermostats for these are on the wall in the respective rooms. Please use these as your primary source of heat and they are the only source of cooling. There is no phone however there is high speed internet that smart phones work with.

The Fireplace is for decoration only, please do not burn in the fireplace or you will be charged $50 for cleaning.

You are required to dispose of your own trash. And don’t leave trash outside. It attracts wildlife. The dump is about 4.5 miles up highway 190, it is open May 1 to Sept 30 on Weekends from 10-2 and Mondays 10-4 (excluding holidays), from Oct 1 to April 30 it is open Sunday and Monday from 10-2 (excluding holidays) If you leave your trash there is a fee that will be charged.
