The house was amazing! We loved our summer stay in Montana... great white water rafting, fishing, hiking and shopping. Would definitely love to enjoy this beautiful home again!

Nice and quiet and a great space.. it does need a king in the master bed as current bed was super hard. Everything was cozy and inviting.

Wonderful experience would have stayed longer if time had permitted. The only complaint: the mattresses were not very comfortable. Kids enjoyed the gameroom and hot tub.

The home and the views were unmatched. A true masterpiece. Clan, spacious and beautifully decorated. Only thing that would have made it better would be bigger beds-but the property was truly amazing!

This home was amazing! From the views to the fireplace! You cant go wrong renting this! Loved hearing the sounds of nature, walking on the property, and star gazing. One upgrade we would recommend is the bed sizes- other than that it was a wonderful place to stay! Thank you for sharing your exquisite home!

Divine getaway house.

This house and property meets/beats all expectations for a perfect Montana lodge. The kitchen and living spaces are large, comfortable and well-equipped for a big group. Beautiful covered deck with rocking chairs. The house is well situated and is remote enough to be quiet and private but just a short drive from everything you would need and want, including restaurants, great hikes, breweries, etc. Amazing house, overall!

Amazingly Beautiful Huge Log Cabin

What an amazing log cabin in the mountains. The house was beautiful, clean and had anything you could think of. The view is beautiful all around the whole house. WE encountered lots of different wildlife while staying at Big Sky. This house can hold a big family, family reunion. So many beautiful COOL things to look at all over the house. We will definitely return!!

A place to come back to again and again !

We loved our stay! A wonderful and charming home that felt like a hug ! We loved the wrap-around porch, all the cozy bedrooms and conveniences of home . We came in the first week of July, for a small thundershower and beautiful rainbows display from the back porch and then on the Fourth of July a spectacular firework show from the back porch from town center! The kids loved playing hide and seek in the house !! So family oriented ! Loved loved it!

Perfect Lodge!

Overall, the Special "K" Lodge definitely meets your expectations, if not exceeds! The virtual tour was perfect but does not capture the true essence and beauty of the property. We had the most fabulous stay. Tip: turn off all the lights at night and see the big dipper in all its glory right in the front yard! The property may be a teeny bit difficult to locate at first (especially at night) but it is worth it once you arrive!

Magnificent Space

Enormous but somehow cozy this beautiful home was all we could ask for. Fun and games, a wonderful hot tub and privacy for each sleeping room. We were able to easily get to Yellowstone twice, enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen with it great flow and saw animals galore. The views and sunrises are awesome. Thank you for opening this incredible structure with its massive beams and thoughtful appointments. I am an Interior designer and it was perfect!

A very nice house

Overall a very nice comfortable house. Beautiful views. Two issues we had were resolved in a timely manner. Two minor issues, cooking utensils along with pots and pans could use a little upgrade. Also more queen size beds would be nice.

Winter trip

This property is amazing, very comfortable and well stocked. Everyone was very comfortable. However, we had a couple of leaks going on from the ceiling, no towels set up in the bathrooms for our arrival, food leftover from a previous renter and no available music system. It would also be helpful for a recommendation to make sure you have an AWD vehicle as there was a great deal of snow and this house is out in mountains. It is a stunning property and the views are amazing.

Better than expectations

We rented this house for our entire family,; 2 adult children, spouses and 4 grandchildren.We loved the spacious house with all of the amenities.....pool table, foos ball, ping pong, puzzles, and especially the hot tub. The serenity of the private setting with spectacular views made it difficult for us to get going in the mornings to enjoy Yellowstone and all of the river activities. We enjoyed just hanging around together there and that was the purpose for our trip!!

Special K stay

Property was awesome, great views, well stocked kitchen. Our only problem was a maintenance one- called management about a stopped up toilet and/ or plunger on property- she assured me she’d keep in touch and write a maintenance request… never heard from her again. Solution- we went to Ace, bought a plunger and fixed it ourselves.

Fantastic Lodging

Everything about the rental and stay was easy, straightforward and quick! The space and privacy provided by the house was welcome for our group of friends. Also, the closeness to Big Sky made this location perfect. The only slight complaint we have is that the hot tub needed a clean before our arrival. Aside from that, the house provided all the entertainment we could have asked for; the speaker system throughout the house was amazing and the sheer volume of activities/games around the house was insane. The kitchen also had plenty of glasses, plates, utensils, and cooking ware for all of our needs. In all, the enjoyment of our stay in Montana was amplified by the property and the house and we would recommend renting a week here to anyone going to the area!!

Big sky

The had plenty of room for our entire family it was amazing the house is beautiful. We used it to go to Yellowstone just about everyday it is 1 hr from the West Yellowstone entrance. The only thing I did not like about the house is it has no air conditioning. The first night we were there we burnt up but the rest of the time we opened the windows and stayed pretty cool. But all and all it was a great house and we had a great time. Most of the time it is very cool on top of the mountain and it has a great view off the front porch wow!!!!!

Breathtaking Lodge & Location

Wow, this place is absolutely amazing. From the moment pulling up to the lodge to the moment leaving, everything was spectacular. Ultimate privacy with nobody around you with even better views. The house itself is magnificent. The main family room is one of the largest rooms we have seen. Pictures online do not do justice! We had a group of 10 guests and had beyond enough room for everything. The wrap around deck is where we spent most of our nights. The kitchen is large and stocked with all the cooking utensils you need for cooking. Each bedroom had its own private bath. The bunk room downstairs was great too. Recommend arriving during the day as it would be a little difficult to find at night. Would recommend this house to everyone and would definitely come back!
