Cottage moderne sur le lac - Amazing Views!

Incroyable vue sur le lac de 180 degrés dans ce cottage moderne à Port Dover. Parfait pour les couples à la recherche d'une escapade d'un week-end ou les familles à la recherche d'un lieu de vacances relaxant. Deux suites privées, chacune avec sa propre salle de bain et douche. Concept ouvert cuisine / salle à manger / salon avec mur de fenêtres donnant sur le lac. Poêle à bois moderne avec beaucoup de bois de chauffage disponible. C'est une courte promenade du centre-ville de Port Dover où vous trouverez un mélange éclectique de boutiques et de restaurants.

Wonderful Canadian Retreat on the Lake

We loved our stay here. The neighborhood was quiet, the lake was beautiful and the pictures don’t do the view justice! The nearby town was so charming we were there in the off-season and still loved it. We will be coming back again soon!

Wonderful Wintery Long Weekend Getaway!

The Modern Cottage was the perfect place to spend a long weekend getaway together! The property was better than anticipated, with expansive windows and glass doors to take in the stunning lake views and beautiful snowfalls. The cottage was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything needed for a fantastic stay. Marnie was a responsive host, making the process very easy from start to finish. We look forward to returning!

The Perfect Vantage Point

This was our second visit to the property and we will be back. The cottage delivered everything that was promised and more. The owners are certainly the most responsive of all the VRBO places we’ve stayed. Nice neighbours as well.

Surrounded by Beauty

This cottage in its setting is definitely among the more beautiful spots that we have stayed on our travels since retiring 10 years ago. The cottage itself is functional, comfortable, beautifully maintained and very well equipped. It was a delight to prepare meals in the up-to-date kitchen with a spectacular view, a view which is shared by the dining and living rooms! We loved our stay here and our hosts were very responsive.

Above Expectations!

Absolutely amazing property! It's rare that VRBO listings are better in real life but this one was. The views were incredible, the cottage was clean and had everything (plus more) that I needed, the fire pit (and wood that was provided) made for some cozy nights by the fire, and the outdoor patio set and umbrellas were perfect for relaxing. The owner was very accommodating and super helpful! I will definitely be back for another wonderful, stress-free vacation again!

Great Lake views cottage

This is my second time to Marnie’s cottage. Great decor, furniture and those views are the best to wake up to. We used the fire pit each night and the kitchen has everything you need. Only item missing was a blow dryer but I brought my own. Bring your bike as it is around a 2km bike ride into town and the frisky beaver is less than 2km away. That was a lot of fun. We hope to make this an annual trip.

lovely cottage great views could use some basics on arrival ie milk splenda etc. tv’s need written instructions with list of available channels . never did figure out. outdoor lights on porch missing so dangerous when leaving cottage to deck. The steps down to deck from livingroom dangerous. They are not to code too narrow

Beautiful home, spectacular views!

This is the 4th year we have stayed here during part of September. The cottage is very well cared for, super clean, well equipped in a spectacular setting. The owners have always been very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Relaxing stay in Port Dover

Great stay!

Loved our stay. Everything is updated and in perfect working condition. There is always shade to be found at all times of the day. Lots of stairs to go swimming, but enjoyed the water and sandy bottom, as well as the deck by the water. Appreciated the huge tv, gas stove and clean gas BBQ. There is almost always a wind in the afternoon, but that is perfect for those humid days and nights. Highly recommend!

Second Stay

We had another great stay at Manrnie and Mike’s place! As always the view is breathtaking makes you feel like you’ve really stepped away from everything to relax. There is a perfect private patio set up to enjoy, and a fire pit at night! Perfect for sitting around and chatting! Thanks again for having us!

Location, location, location

This modern design cottage was everything we hoped for. Amenities were excellent, no expense seems to have been spared and that lake view - WOW! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. There were just two down sides a) we are 2 retired couples with one having some mobility issues. We would recommend safety grab bars in the showers and hand rails at the house entry points and b) the tv remotes are confusing even though we followed the instructions which mentioned a grey remote which we could not find. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Marnie’s cottage was amazing . Great location , clean and well stocked cottage. Amazing view ! Tons to do in and around Port Dover . Great breweries , wineries , cheese shop, bakeries !! Highly recommend!

A stylish, modern cottage that takes advantage of the stunning view.

I loved the layout and design of this place. The large, open concept kitchen/diningroom/living room was comfortable and stylish without being pretentious. The ever present view of the lake from the wall of bay windows was fantastic, and I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to use the back patio (the weather did not cooperate). The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed.

Beautiful cottage with a stunning view of the lake. Cottage is modern, beautifully decorated and literally has everything you need. The pictures don't do justice to how spectacular the lake view is! Host provided all details and got back to us quickly when we messaged her. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect View

We really enjoyed our 2 day mini vacation! Fully stocked, comfortable, and one of the best views we have ever stayed at! Perfect 2 couple place to enjoy! Great meals and fun in town as well! I highly recommend this location for an any season get away! Thank you to the host Marnie for quick and amazing responses! We had trouble with the Covid mandates coming on our first choice of weekends and found another one and was accommodated without issue! Thank you !!!!!!
