This was our first time to tybee beach and it was awesome!!! The condo was great! Check in was fast and really easy! The condo perfectly fit 5 women on our girls trip! One of the queen beds is worn in the middle so it wasnât the most comfortable but we made do for 4 nights. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool, it was never too busy. We cooked in the condo and had everything we needed to do so!
Overall, good. Just a few things that could be better. Parking is not the best here. Tight fit for larger vehicles & others try to park in your reserved spots which was a little irritating. Floors need a major cleaning!
The condo was spacious and very conveniently located to stores and restaurants. The condo was clean and check in and out process was extremely easy. Only suggestion we have was that the floor could have used a better cleaning. Otherwise, great stay!
Absolutely loved the location. Weâve been to Tybee many times but I was in love with the location and balconies. There were 2 downers the weather and the elevator was ooo.
The property was located near the beach, restaurants, and shops which made for a nice getaway. The check in process is a little dated having to pick up a packet from the office. After a long drive itâd be nice to be able to go straight to the condo. Also, the thermostat will not go below 70; normally this would be cold but it got pretty warm in the bedrooms. Overall a nice place, easy to find and located near the attractions.
Overall inside the condo it was very nice. Everywhere around it was bars and locals. Depending on what you are looking to do in the area it could be a great experience for you. The great part about it was that we could walk anywhere, but keep in mind the location is right next to day parking lots, so you had some very interesting characters on the beach in this location. For a family vacation we will stay somewhere more residential in the future, but if you are looking for something cheap and near local bars with a group of friends it could be a better experience for you. My only issue with the property management is their checkin process. We are in 2021 go purchase a doorknob that you enter a code on so we donât have to go to the opposite side of the island to pick up a key. Or put a lockbox on the outside of the door. We couldnât believe we had to to drive back to the beginning of the island to pick up a key at an office around 4-5. It was just very silly, but overall not a bad property depending on your situation.
Our feet were solid black after walking around unit. I think maid swept but doesn't mop. Master bath shower door doesn't close, master bathroom toilet room door doesn't close. Kitchen sink faucet half ass works. All the fans make terrible noise , barn slide doors wouldn't hardly move to bedroom by living room. Master bedroom floor makes noise every step you make. Management notified us our room was ready and as we walked in , the maid was coming out and she was not happy we were entering . We said the office just notified us our room was ready and she let out a sigh and said " I just finished " very hateful. We have stay at this property before and it was awesome . Unit 19 is not so nice.
We had a lovely stay in this condo. The location is near everything you want - beaches, restaurants, and shopping. It was so helpful to have two parking spaces, too! And the rooftop pool had a perfect view for the fireworks!
Check in and finding the condo building was a bit difficult. The code for the door wouldnât work several times so we had to call the property manager back and forth until that was solved. The locking mechanism could have been a bit simpler in my opinion. The elevator on our side of the building was broken for the duration of our stay, but we made it work. The area of the island we were on is quite crowded, Iâm guessing due to the proximity to the pier and several bars/restaurants. On the other hand, it was nice to be within walking distance of many places. I would probably stay here again during a less busy time. The condo was quite nice and very clean upon our arrival. I have no complaints about the unit itself other than the complicated door lock. Overall a very nice stay.
Great location! Five minutes from most restaurants. Walking distance from the beach. Souvenir shop below. Free 2 car parking spots. You have to pay around the city to park. The only issue we had was the running toilet in the master. Everything else was great!
Property is older...black mold on ceiling in hall when entering unit. Dryer makes a screeching noice when running. All rooms blind have to be closed , unit too close to pool, and people would see in.
Staying at the property was a very GOOD experience. Everything was easy checking in and throughout the stay. It was exactly what was expected. Clean, close to the beach, easy access to shopping and a pool. We had 5 in our party and it was a comfortable size. If you are looking for GREAT though, this does not meet that threshold. No view of the ocean, poor water pressure, small TVs., etc. The parking is challenging for larger vehicles.
Beautiful place. A couple suggestions: kitchen utensils werenât put away when we arriveâall thrown in one drawer. Also, pool was filthy until cleaned midweek.
