Minor wear-and-tear issues can occasionally arise in any actively used home, and we address them promptly whenever reported. The shower handle issue has since been reviewed by our maintenance team. We also want to provide some context for future guests. Our property is located in a diverse residential neighborhood where many residents have lived for years and maintain backyard chickens, which some guests find to be part of the area’s local character. While the reviewer interpreted the visible police presence and neighborhood activity negatively, we have hosted numerous guests who have enjoyed comfortable, uneventful stays without safety concerns. As noted in the review, occasional municipal water interruptions are a city infrastructure matter and are not specific to our property. Fortunately, these events are rare and outside the control of individual homeowners. We appreciate the guest leaving behind additional kitchen items, although the home is stocked with the essential cookware and supplies advertised in our listing. Most guests find the kitchen well-equipped for typical vacation and business travel needs. Ultimately, we are glad the guest acknowledged that the home provided good value for the price paid.
