The property is located in nice quiet neighborhood. This is great if you're a light sleeper. The accommodations are clean. They do ask for you to remove your shoes before entering. This could present to be a problem for some folks. However, when you see how immaculate the place is, you can understand the request. It is equipped with a small fridge and microwave. I didn't see a coffee maker.

Disappointed in my stay here.

Very disappointed in my stay here. I stayed here for 5 days and needed a space to work remotely. Arrived at 1pm for check in and realized no itinerary was emailed to me so I do not have the code to enter the property. Called host several times, no response. Rang the doorbell of the host's family and no response. Host called me back at 7:45pm, almost 7 hours after check in to give me the code. No itinerary, also meant no access to wifi and the neighborhood has terrible cell phone reception (Tmobile & Verizon users). I am trying to meet with clients via Zoom and was without wifi for 3 out of 5 days staying there. Owner is in Dubai. Vrbo was no help either. I needed to leave and have meetings at local places to offered wifi. You get one towel and a used roll of toilet paper. Everytime I requested a new towel or t.p. or took days. I just ordered towels and tp from Amazon. I would only stay here for a day, get in and out. Place has potential.

Wouldn't Mind Renting Again in the Future!

The MiniSuite was nice, sort of a 'zen' vibe associated with it! It's located on the outskirts of Elk Grove within the city. Local establishments were easy to reach and really didn't take that much longer to get there! The neighborhood is nice. I felt safe. The area is fairly quiet. One issue presented itself even before arriving: Under "House Rules" on the VRBO site, check-in is listed as 1:00 P.M. I was told via e-mail from the property owner that check-in was 3:00 P.M. [I have since examined the VRBO site for this property. At the bottom of the information provided under "About This Rental" the check-in time IS listed as 3:00 P.M. It is suggested that the web site be corrected to avoid further confusion.] The owner was willing to work with me regarding arrival time, but due to a transportation issue my arrival time was no longer a problem! The owners were very accomodating. While they did not 'bother' me, which was appreciated, they were approachable: one day I door-dashed a highly garlic/onion smelling meal; I felt the need to remove the leftovers from the suite; the owner showed me where to put it in the outside garbage can. Just a few items for a heads up - admittedly some are 'nit-picky': (1) The entry door needs to be slammed to get it properly shut. The owner pointed this out and said basically 'then slam it!' But it is very awkward when returning to the suite in the 'wee hours' - I didn't slam the door for fear of waking the owners. [There is a chain for the door on the inside of the suite.] (2) There is only one heater in the suite, and that is located in the main room and not in the bedroom. I awakened to a very cold unit the first morning. Thereafter, the bedroom was never 'toasty' but I could get it to be somewhat comfortable. (3) There was only one towel in the bathroom. Two towels would have been nice ... after all, being a woman, one towel is for the body and the other is for having washed my hair! (4) There was no bath mat for the floor after getting out of the shower. (5) There is no sink in the main room. [There is a mini fridge and a microwave.] There is also no silverware provided. The lack of utensils proved a problem when a door-dash meal came without utensils. Perhaps just a couple plastic forks/spoons/knives could be made available for use?? (6) Once I emptied my stinky food leftovers into the outside garbage, there were no more bags for the inside garbage can. Overall: Loved staying here!

Property was very clean. I was visiting my family and this was very convenient considering my mom stays just a mile from this location. They do have a small child which we could heard from time to time but other then that it was a great stay.

Staycation Review

My boyfriend and I were attending a wedding in town and decided to make it a staycation for the weekend. This property was quiet and tucked away; the perfect size for our needs, and very cozy. There were a lot of food and shopping options less than 10 minutes away. Sunny was a great host and very responsive. Some of the things that would have been nice to know before hand is that the only heat provided in the room is from a space heater, which can heat the room completely, but takes a while to do so. The property was pretty clean but there was crumbs, etc on the floor and a fair amount of dust; other than that the property was clean. As mentioned in other reviews I read before choosing to stay here, there is a door that separates you from the main house that is not soundproof. I tried to counteract this by bringing a white noise maker, which mostly did the trick. Overall, it was a great place to stay and perfect for what we needed for the weekend!

Honest review

My boyfriend and I rented this room for the Valentine’s Day weekend, and we loved it. It was hassle free stay. We had privacy in a nice and clean house, but the host was really friendly whenever I did contact him. On top of that, we watched our favorite movies since host provides free HD Amazon Prime. Will be staying again if we come back to Sacramento.

Served its purpose

This is a nice studio with everything needed for a stay. The carpet was rather stained/dirty and they wanted you to not wear shoes inside. It was dusty and had spiders, which didn’t bother me but I know some people would have this.

Beautiful neighborhood and home. Simple little Casita attached to owners main house with its own entrance. I arrived at night and the courtyard was beautifully lit with lights in the trees. In the morning the birds were chirping it was lovely! Keurig with San Francisco Bay pods which happen to be my favorite! I only heard the occupants from the main home a few times. I felt VERY safe and welcomed. I had a few text messages let me know to contact them if I needed anything. Wonderful experience and I will definitely stay here again when I travel. The price and neighborhood are exceptional.

We found Shangri-la!

When we arrived in the dark, we could see it was a lovely, upscale neighborhood. What a magical welcome to see the lights in the garden outside our apartment door. Inside was also beautiful, with high end furniture, TV, beautiful decor and all the amenities we wanted. When we texted that we needed a little more heat, our host appeared at our door, smiling, in 2 minutes with a great space heater. We wished we were staying longer. One of the best airbnbs we've stayed at in our frequent travels. Thanks, Sunny!

The suite was spacious and comfortable. There is a microwave and mini refrigerator. The suite is attached to the owner's home via a wooden door and the only minor negative is that you can hear the occupants of the home. Otherwise it was a very nice location and place to stay.
