La Citrus House doit son nom à ses nombreux agrumes parfumés, dont les fleurs inondent le terrain de leurs douces senteurs pendant les mois de printemps spectaculaires. Il y a une merveille magique au sujet de la maison dans laquelle il faut simplement se prélasser pour y croire. Autrefois propriété de Darryl Zanuck, fondateur de 20th Century Fox, la Citrus House est une oasis paisible et confortable à quelques pas des magnifiques boutiques du centre-ville et de délicieux restaurants. Un mot d'avertissement cependant ... cela peut être une propriété difficile à quitter :)

La maison principale confortablement charmante dispose de deux grandes suites parentales. À travers un couloir court à côté de la cuisine joliment aménagée, la chambre superposée confortable (4 couchages) comprend une salle de bain complète, ainsi que sa propre télévision HD. La Citrus House propose également 3 casitas d'hôtes, chacune avec sa propre entrée - et chacune avec une salle de bain complète, une télévision HD et un mobilier conçu avec goût. Les trois casitas font partie d'une structure séparée qui dispose également d'une terrasse avec vue, où l'on peut admirer la beauté majestueuse du mont. San Jacinto et les sommets environnants.

La Citrus House comprend une cuisine gastronomique ultramoderne, idéale pour recevoir et parfaite pour les grands rassemblements. La grande piscine et le jacuzzi privé sont entourés d'un mobilier d'extérieur design et confortable. Une grande table à manger en bois couverte et construite sur mesure offre un cadre idéal pour les repas en plein air. Les équipements supplémentaires comprennent un terrain de balle Bocci traditionnel avec éclairage nocturne, un ancien foyer en acier chaudron entouré de sièges rembourrés confortables, une cheminée extérieure couverte, un tout nouveau four à pizza en plein air, un barbecue, 4 vélos Beach Cruiser et 1 vélo tandem .

The Citrus House was perfect for our family trip for a surprise birthday destination. Malia was great with recommendations and the check in process and check out was easy. The kitchen had all the pots/pans/dishware. Pool and hot tub were great. It was so hot while we were there we spent a lot of time in the pool. The citrus trees had huge grapefruits to pick and were delicious. Great outdoor space for kiddos to run around and play and explore. Walkable distance to the main area with restaurants etc. Rooms were spacious and accommodated our large party of people.

The host and the housekeeper were very welcoming and the communications were easy. We got in much later than expected and the housekeeper waited for us to arrive. The house is lovely and comfortable. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. We did a lot of cooking and tthe kitchen has every piece of equipment you could possibly need. Great location. Beautiful yard and house.

We had the best time staying at The Citrus House . The weather was perfect. The house and grounds were immaculate, and being able to pluck a fresh grapefruit from the tree , and enjoy the juice running down my chin was decadent . All of the beds were super soft, cozy, the kitchen was outfitted with everything needed, the pool and hot tub were so welcome . We danced on the rooftop patio to Abba

I don’t think the listing and pictures of this property does it justice! This home was perfect for my busband’s 50th birthday week. The home was STOCKED with everything you need to host a large party from 2 coffee machines, multiple wine fridges and lots of seating both indoors and out. The individual casitas were perfect for adults who need some quiet and privacy and the 4 person bunk room was just right for the kids. The pool and hot tub were also big enough to accomodate the large party. The lawn chairs were very comfortable, not the cheap plastic ones! The location could not be beat! We walked to dinner every night along with shopping and drinks. It’s also centrally located to the airport 15 min, Aerial Tramway 20 min and Joshua tree 45 min. Thank you for making this weekend one to remember!

Amazing property - as others have said, the pictures do not do it justice! From the fruit trees to the casitas and multiple outdoor sitting areas we didn’t want to leave. Very walkable to restaurants and used the many bikes to tour neighborhoods. Absolutely loved our stay!

We took a quick trip to Palm Springs for 4 nights in February. Weather wasn't great but sun came out so that we could enjoy the pool. Three of the bedrooms/baths are in a separate building which worked great for our group and people who wanted more privacy.

Annual Trip to the Citrus House!

We love staying at this beautiful property. It is a gorgeous home with well appointed rooms and a full stocked kitchen. It really is like staying at your own private resort; beautiful grounds, citrus trees, the large private pool, hot tub, bikes, bocce ball court, fire pit, outdoor pizza oven. Plenty of room to spread out and close to downtown. Owners and house manager are great with communication. Booking soon for next year. Thanks again for an amazing stay.

Perfect Oasis

This was the perfect spot for our group of 9 women on our annual girls weekend trip (new city every year). The property was as described (no surprises). The location was excellent! Close and convenient to everything. The pool and jacuzzi were inviting. More than enough space to hang out and have fun but also have some private time if need be. I would highly recommend!!

Mom's 90th Birthday Celebration

The Citrus House was the perfect house for my Mom's 90 Birthday celebration. The house is stunning and the grounds are beyond stunning. It's in a great location, so there is a little road noise, but you can barely notice while enjoying the oasis of the front yard and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, and bocce ball court. The beds are very comfortable and the house has everything you could think of. The property manager, Silvia, was amazing, I'd give her 6 stars. if possible. She was very helpful, responsive and did everything to make our stay the best possible. Would definitely stay here again.

Extended Weekend

The Citrus House was fabulous, perfect for an extended weekend for our family of 6. Conveniently located to some of the best shops and restaurants in the desert. We enjoyed the beautiful tiled pool and comfortable lounge chairs, bocce ball, we biked, played tennis nearby, hiked to waterfalls, enjoyed outdoor meals in the garden and all watched MBA playoffs in the comfortable living room. The house was clean and comfortable, and so well equipped. The fresh citrus everyday was a real treat. We can’t wait to return.

This is a beautiful and charming property in the old and historic part of PS. The environs are like a secluded spa with beautiful flowers, trees, pool, sitting and lounging areas outside. The bedrooms are spacious. Kitchen and dining areas inside and out are perfect. The only downside is the house is on a very busy corner. Traffic noise is loud. It didn’t spoil it for us.

Incredible yard!

Pictures online can’t accurately depict the beauty of the outdoor area of this home. It is stunning and we enjoyed as much time outdoors as possible. Despite temps in the 100’s, there are many covered areas that stayed cool and the pool is lovely. Hot tub wonderful as well. Property owner was incredibly responsive to questions or needs while we were there. The home is lovely as well-each bedroom has everything the guest would need and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Our group of 6 friends could not have been happier. Proximity to downtown is a few minutes but still a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful park within a quarter mile that we all enjoyed as well.

Gorgeous Property and Well Stocked

The house and grounds were very well maintained and well stocked. The furnishing and design details were beautifully curated. The owner and housekeeper were very responsive. It would be fantastic for an event or party. The Movie Colony location of this home made walking to town to eat and shop easy. Nevertheless, due to location there is loud and distracting road noise in the house's 2 main bedrooms. Additionally, members of our group who used the queen bedrooms in the separate building complained of mildew smell.

We would love to have you back. I apologize about the mildew smell, in the casita room as we had it closed up for a few weeks during our annual maintenance and it can do that with the rain. Magic!

From the minute you enter the gate, everything about Citrus House is absolutely magic! There were 13 of us ranging from 6 to 55 and we all loved it! It's a perfect gathering place for friends and family. Plenty of space and activities, and the house and grounds "absorb people" beautifully - even with a large group. And it's so well appointed! Not only gorgeous, but we found everything we could want or need, even with a lot of cooking. (No one wanted to go out for meals. It was too wonderful to even think about leaving even though it really is close to everything!) And the management company could not have been more helpful or accommodating through every step of the process. Bottom line - we all want to go back as soon as possible. As one who has rented a lot of beautiful homes, this is truly at the top of the list!
