Golden Sands est au tour quintessence du siïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœcle Gloucester plage "chalet". Avec vue sur Good Harbor Beach, les phares jumeaux de Rockport et panoramique sur l'ocĂ©an Atlantique depuis son enrouler autour de porche et les ponts, vous ne voudrez plus quitter cette maison de plage incroyable.


Le niveau principal comprend le salon qui ouvre sur la vĂ©randa et terrasse, salle Ă  manger, cuisine, bureau et salle d'eau. La cuisine confortable manger avec garde-manger walk-in est bien ïżœïżœïżœïżœquipïżœïżœïżœïżœe avec tout le nĂ©cessaire pour prĂ©parer des repas pour 12 personnes, dont un lave-vaisselle, 5 feux gaz, beaucoup d'ustensiles et une rondelle de grande capacitĂ© et une sĂ©cheuse.


Le deuxiïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœïżœme niveau dispose de 4 chambres et 2 salles de bains (une avec baignoire et douche hors de la salle). Deux chambres simples offrent une vue sur l'ocïżœïżœan tandis que le maĂźtre (avec lits jumeaux) dispose d'une salle de bains avec baignoire et d'une porte ïżœïżœ une belle terrasse privĂ©e. Les lits dans les chambres individuelles sont cĂ©libataires surdimensionnĂ©s ( "3/4 taille», qui est de 9 pouces plus large que la taille unique, et 6 pouces plus Ă©troit que la taille normale).


Le troisiĂšme ïżœïżœtage dispose de 3 chambres plus (avec 6 lits au total) et une salle de bain complĂšte avec baignoire, ainsi que des vues imprenables.

Well equipped rental

Awesome location. The view from the wrap porch was spectacular! We all spent much time there. The rental was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We appreciated the beach towels and chairs, boogie boards, and bocce balls. There were just 2 showers for the 7 bedrooms but the owner is hoping to add another. It was not a problem for us as we made it work. House was clean and beds were comfortable. The owner made us feel very welcome as he personally contacted us to make sure everything was ok. Good Harbor beach is my new favorite on the eastern coast. 7/12 of our family braved the cold water in low tide to walk to the island. We did Cape Ann whale watching & saw 3 whales. Ate at Lobsta Land & Seaport Grill both of which were amazing. I would highly recommend this rental!

Great for large groups of beach-lovers

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented Golden Sands many times over the past 7 years. It is located just steps from Good Harbor Beach, and yet it is secluded behind a screen of trees for privacy. There are enough bedrooms to host multiple families at once, with all the cooking and serving equipment you could need and more. The vibe is rustic country cottage, which is a huge plus for our family. The views are excellent--especially from the covered porch, where everybody tends to congregate in any weather. It does lack some things that might be expected for such high rent, such as updated bathrooms and air conditioning--it gets uncomfortably hot on the 3rd floor during hot spells--however, for us it is just right.

One small complaint was there was not enough toilet paper for 14 people and under the beds there were a lot of dust balls but it but it certainly would not keep me from coming back.

The porch was fabulous. We spent most of our time there. The view was priceless and our family loved that they could walk to the beach. Gloucester and Rockport had much to offer in restaurants, gift shops and sightseeing.

Summer week at Golden Sands: a family tradition

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every time we come it's better. So joyous for children, so relaxing for adults. A box of candy from the owners makes the difference between feeling like aliens on someone else's planet and feeling welcome. We love the hideouts in the bushes (pirate caves) and the audience of penguins, the lived-in feel, the hermit crabs, the view and the beach. I wish the tranquility were not shattered by the neighbors' ground crews with their mowers and weedwhackers. But you can't have everything.

Another Great Week in Gloucester

The owner is very nice and the upgrades (eg, Weber gas grill) were appreciated. Bill, the gentleman who helps out with property maintenance, is a great guy. Enjoy dealing with Susan Rey at Atlantic Vacation Homes. Weather was not perfect, but a rainy day at the Golden Sands beats a sunny day in most other places. Our family loves the house and we hope to rent it for many years to come.

Love the Golden Sands

We stayed in that area for years and this was the best rental we ever had. Location is great and the house is the perfect size for our family. View of the beach was great and we loved the outside deck. Atlantic Vacations Home reps were great. Only suggestion I'd make would be to put the TV in the larger reading room. Would highly recommend. We plan on returning next year.

Golden Sands was the most perfect place for our reunion.

Each bedroom was charming, the living room so comfortable, the porch and beach view were awesome. The kitchen was equipped for any type cooking; the location was great for beach walks. We would all love to return.

Reviewer Comments: As always, we all love Golden Sands, every bit of it: the view, the outside shower, the spacious porch, the shelf full of games, the long dining tables both inside and out, the best beach on Cape Ann, all the comfortable bedrooms, and the world-class collection of penguins. My youngest granddaughter (aged 7) is making a stuffed penguin to add to the collection, and we will send it to the owners c/o AVH when she has finished her slow, uneven stitching. Golden Sands is our all-time favorite. AVH always comes through. If there is one thing I'd change, it is that last morning, when we have to pack, strip the beds, do the laundry and clean the kitchen by 10:00. It replaces the the golden haze of good times with a feeling of stress . I'd love to spend a little more money to have the cleaners come earlier, stay longer, and do more.

They filled the house with thoughtful touches: a sewing kit tucked in a drawer, a first-aid kit in the towel closet, flashlights by every bed, every map and pamphlet and train schedule possible, and fresh flowers on the dining room table! Lovely view, lovely old place. Only one thing: I think the owner should replace the stove for both safety and convenience. Thanks to AVH
