We liked the location and layout of the property. Although, you could technically walk to the slopes, we found that the lift ride app was great for taking the bus to the village. The kitchen is spacious if you are planning to cook meals in as we did. Would definitely stay here again!
The location is awesome, just a short walk or shuttle ride to the resort. The floor level with the river view was majestic & great for letting dogs out. Everything was clean and comfortable. The sauna and hot tub are connected to the condo which was really cool. Couldnât have been better honestly!
Nice property and great size for our family vacation. Great location. Overall nice unit but in need of a little TLC (pillows, towels, kitchen items and washer/dryer).
We loved staying here. The location was perfect for our family, and we loved sitting out on the back patio, enjoying the river. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely consider coming back the next time we are in Winter Park.
We had a great visit to this property. Being on the ground floor was so convenient and having the Fraser River right outside was so lovely. The home is roomy and there was plenty of space for my family of five. The kitchen is gorgeous and pretty well stocked with everything you need. There is not a washer or dryer in the unit. It is on site and requires quarters to operate.
We loved our stay in Winter Park. The condo, especially with the screen door open, had a lovely view of the river. The bedrooms worked well for our family, although I do agree with other reviewers that the floor in the master bath/shower is very slippery.
My kids loved the bunk beds and the master bed was comfortable. We did walk to winter park, but the uphill climb was a little much for my three year old so we were glad to have a stroller.
Cute place, would recommend
Ski trip with family. House was great, with lots of room. a lot of snow so didn't get to enjoy the backyard by the river. Shuttle right out front to the gondola. would definitely stay again
We had a fantastic time at this riverfront condo. The location is unbeatable. Waking up to the sound of the river right outside our door every day was amazing, and we enjoyed spending every evening watching the river flow by. The Fraser River Trail is just up the street, so we could easily ride our bikes or walk into downtown Winter Park. Hiking and mountain bike trails are also very close. The beds were comfortable, and the master bathroom is gorgeous! There was plenty of space for a family of four and a dog. We also really appreciated that the hot tub was right next to the condo. The kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed. Paul was super responsive, and we would love to come stay again!
We had a wonderful time staying here over Presidents weekend. It was super close to the mountain which made skiing with my little kids a lot easier. It was big and had lots of places to sleep. The only small issue we had was the loud noise/stomping coming from the condo above us very late and very early every night/day. It was really loud! Other than that it was a great place.
This was a great location and property. The only thing that was a miss by the property manager was there was no hand soap in the condo for washing hands, no dish soap for dishes, and no extra toilet paper. Not a huge deal but definitely inconvenient and for the price we paid.
What a beautiful location. The condo is like new with decor out of a magazine. Clean and quiet except for the sound of the river. The pictures do not do the condo justice. It was way beyond our expectation. The owner was extremely helpful answering all our questions. I would definitely recommend this property to others.
The location was Amazing and the condo was great. There were a few cleaning concerns especially during this time of COVID. The duvet cover was dirty and had lots of dog hair, stains on the sheets, there were things smeared on the walls in the bathroom and some towels had red smudges on them. There were no were no additional bedding. All top bedding seemed as though it doesn't get washed. Owner seemed to be receptive to feedback. Again condo and location are great.
Location is super convenient for skiing. Right outside one of the side doors is the entrance to a shared sauna and hot tub, super nice after a long day of skiing. Fireplace and main room is nice and cozy.
Two days before we were to check in the boiler unfortunately broke, hat tip to the owner for getting everyone he could there over the holiday to get it fixed so we could still enjoy most of our holiday break skiing.
Only negative was the over was dirty so when I turned it on, the place filled with smoke and we had to air it out. Couldn't use the oven but everything else was fine in the kitchen.
Overall, it was great! One thing Iâd like to bring up is the beautiful shower off the master is marble or something like it. It gets very, very slippery when youâre using it. So glad my daughter used it first because I likely would have fallen. We were going to buy a bath mat for it, but then decided to get rubber shelf liner. Worked great and would strongly recommend you bring some.
There was also no hand soap in either bathroom and no dish towels. Wouldnât have minded a more comfortable couch.
These are all very small things, except the slippery shower.
We had a wonderful time and loved being right on the river. One afternoon we spotted two moose walking just on the other side of the river. Pretty cool.
Fantastic location and access to WP ski resort. Layout of condo was a bit strange and lacked some essentials - salt, pepper, sponge for dishes, sugar, oil, and no mention that they do not have a coffee maker but only a keurig machine. Batteries went out on remote, Wi games all scratched and did not work at all (disappointed kids), several lights out and had to be replaced. We spent a lot of our vacation at the store replacing things in the condo that were broken or missing and shopping for some basic essentials. We did end up walking home from the resort on Friday after waiting 30 min for bus (bus did not run on regular schedule). Hot tub was clean, did not use sauna. Grill worked well, but there were signs that forbid you from going outside - bit frustrating since we had 2 dogs that needed to go out regularly. Overall, OK, but would not come back.
We traveled to Winter Park for a quick, multigenerational, trip over Labor Day weekend. Ages 77, 49, 19, 17 all felt like this was an amazing space. The bunk room could have housed all of us alone but we could easily spread out with the three bedrooms. It is absolutely true that large groups could stay here with ease, as the description says. The unit is quiet, clean and had basic items in abundance, unlike some places we have rented. I read a review about ârickety stairsâ which concerned me because my dad (77 yo) struggles with stairs but I reached out to the owner and he assured me there was another entry after initially unlocking the unit. We always used that entry and honestly never found anything ârickety.â The stairs to the front entry were very sturdy, carpeted and well lit with a handrail. Around back it is a concrete walkway and this was just easier for dad. The only caution I would say is that the tile in the master bathroom can become slick with steam from the shower but with the fan running and cautious walking, it is fine. Lots of think, fluffy towels to help if you worry about stepping it onto the tile. Our favorite part was the river right behind the unit. We slept with the windows open just to listen to it, made good use of patio furniture and explored the river several times. Although it is listed as a river, it is more of a babbling stream with fishing gear available in the closet in the living room, although we saw no fish. I would absolutely recommend!
Good space, well equipped, nice layout, easy wifi and tv. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. Walked next door to A Frame Club for dinner one night, and that was awesome. We had a crazy moment with wildlife one evening when a momma moose and her calf came up on the patio and stared through the window at us, then walked through the snow drifts alongside the house until they took off back toward the river. Only drawback to the location was the Old Town shuttle does not run on week days, so we ended up carrying our skis and walking to the base on Friday.
Born and raised in Longmont Colorado, we call Fort Collins home now. Graduated from Colorado State University in 2000, married hometown neighborhood sweetheart in 2002 and have three well behaved 'energized' boys. Love fishing, golf, skiing and having fun in the Colorado mountains!
After looking 10 years for the perfect family mountain getaway, our dream home has just become a reality. We absolutely love being this close to the lifts and it was always our dream to live riverfront. Loved the 'Colorado Modern' motif and high end finish work. It's the perfect mix of a small private complex nestled in the trees with the convenience of being walking distance to the ski resort. Winter Park gets voted Best Adventure town year are year come see why! It's the perfect all season Winter Park lodging destination!
Beautiful views as you look out to the Fraser river. Walking distance to ski lifts, village, ski rental shops and Adolphs pub next door. At the head of the Fraser river trail that connects old town to downtown Winter park. Ground level unit with huge windows and sliding doors to soak in the views.
