Our stay was outstanding. This house exceeded our expectations. It has something for every member of the family. The rooms are clean and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The views are spectacular and the host is extremely kind and responsive. Close to a grocery store and all that Vermont has to offer.

The place is amazing. The view is stunning. All is exquisitely taken care of and organized. Undoubtably, it is the best place we have stayed as a family in the past 15 plus years. Highly recommended.

Another Amazing Stay!This was our second year staying at Julie’s beautiful home in Townshend, Vermont, and it was just as amazing as our first visit! This place truly feels like our happy place.The property was super clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Julie has clearly thought of the little things that make a big difference.And Julie herself is a Superhost by any stretch of the imagination! She is always responsive, supportive, and incredibly accommodating.We were sad to leave once again, but we cannot wait to come back next year! This property is amazing. We stayed for a wedding down the rd. I worry sometimes about forgetting something needed. They have everything. We absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and truly had everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail was amazing—you could tell so much thought and care went into making sure guests felt welcome and at home.This didn’t feel like just another rental property; it felt like staying in a beautifully cared-for home. Everything was thoughtfully stocked, comfortable, and inviting, and there were so many little touches that made our stay extra special.Julie was an absolutely wonderful host! She was friendly, responsive, and always available if we had a question.We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It’s one of those places you’re genuinely sad to leave, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

House was great for me and my family. Plenty of room indoors and outdoors to relax - kitchen was fully stocked and the house was clean and very comfortable. Host was effective and timely with communication and made the check in and checkout process easy. I would stay again.

Very clean and cozy property with an incredibly thoughtful host. The place is well stocked and furnished with just about everything you might need during your stay. The kitchen is especially well equipped, with great pots, pans, knives, and more. There are also several nice touches like multiple coffee stations and even a popcorn setup, which made the stay feel extra welcoming and convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay at the Lodge! Well appointed rooms and the house has everything you need! Felt like a home away from home. We loved it and will definitely be going back. For the skier in you, about 30-50m to any major ski resort and nearby to a lot of other amenities. Julie was a great host, very kind and welcoming. Communication excellent! Thanks again

Top notch rental- the house is perfect. The owners have really thought of everything. Plenty of space for our two families. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was so helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. Julie is so nice and strives to ensure guests have everything they need. We have rented many houses for ski trips and this is by far the best!!

Julie was wonderful, quick to respond and very helpful. The house itself was perfect for a long ski weekend with my family. Plenty of space for the kids to have fun in the basement while the adults kicked back upstairs. The view, the decor, everything was marvelous. Also, one of the best stocked vacation kitchens I've ever seen!

This property has absolutely stunning views from sunrise to sunset! We traveled there to celebrate a graduation event with our family and it could not have been a better experience. There is nothing that this host has not thought of! Every convenience you could possibly need is right there at your fingertips! The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and inviting. There is not a nook or corner that you look at and can't find something unique and interesting to read, listen to, or look at! I highly recommend this property not just for the beauty of the home and surrounding nature, but also for the meticulous, detail oriented, and wonderful host! Thanks again!!!

We had a wonderful stay. We had plenty of room for two families of 4. We loved that we could bring our 2 dogs. The kitchen is well stocked. Very clean with a beautiful view. We loved playing records on the record player. Julie the host was very attentive and was easy to contact.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Julie’s in Townshend. There are not many places that can accommodate my family with all the kids, but this property does and then some. This was the perfect house and location to gather our family for our mother’s surprise 60th birthday weekend getaway. The property was ideal for relaxation and entertainment. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard with lawn games and the adults loved the outdoor ski lift swing, fire pit, and gas stove. Julie was super responsive and available with any questions or help we needed. She went above and beyond and even left flowers and a card for my mother. We only left once for a quick hike in the nearby State Forest, but had no desire to leave this gorgeous house to go anywhere else. We would love to make this a new tradition and come back again next year!

This was one of the nicest places I've stayed. 12 of my family, with dogs, stayed here for Thanksgiving for 4 days. Everything is new, clean, comfortable and well thought-out. The home is very well stocked and our host even provided a new turkey roasting pan, gravy boats, and serving platters. The kitchen is larger than it seems in the pictures. The viking range was excellent. The coffee bar with its own water system was great. The dishwasher is silent! The bedrooms are tastefully done and super comfortable, and very private from each other. With 12 people, we really appreciated that 4 and a half bathrooms! We played records (remember those??) on the modern Victrola. We enjoyed s'mores on the deck and a campfire in the yeard. The view is amazing! My room had a balcony and each room has a view to the mountains. The main level has a nice gathering area by the fireplace, so many of us spent time there, while the downstairs has a separate area where the 20 somethings hung out. Downstairs is a super comfy den with huge bean bag chairs and a game area. Not to mention the pac man game. Our host thought of EVERYTHING, even really nice outdoor blankets to use by the fire. Pets were very welcome. Big comfy dog beds were available as well as raised bowls and a supply of dog bags. The young couple in the family stayed in the 'bunk house' with its king size bed and loved it. This was a perfect house for a big family. Our host was very responsive and communicative.

Our stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish! This home exceeded every expectation we had. The house was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and the views were simply breathtaking. Every room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with incredibly comfortable beds that made for a perfect night's sleep.The attention to detail throughout the home was remarkable. It truly had everything you could possibly need—and even several thoughtful touches and conveniences we never would have thought to ask for. The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we've ever experienced in a vacation rental, making it a pleasure to cook and gather together.There were so many wonderful spaces for our family to spend time together, whether relaxing on the expansive deck while taking in the incredible scenery or enjoying evenings around the fire pit. Every part of the property was designed to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and at home.We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but this property has set an entirely new standard. The quality of the home is second to none, and the host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had a perfect stay.Without question, this is one of the finest vacation homes we've ever rented. We can't wait to return and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!
