MAINTENANT AVEC WIFI!

Cette magnifique maison est située à Wardsboro a été construit au début des années 1800. Il était connu sous le nom de «Levi Sipps Tavern» et servait de Bed & Breakfast et Tavern. En 2013, la maison a subi une rénovation complète.

Il est très proche de Mount Snow & Stratton Mountain. Nos clients apprécient également le golf, le shopping, les restaurants, la motoneige, le traîneau à chiens et la randonnée dans un rayon de 5-15 minutes en voiture.

Avec 5 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes, cette maison est très spacieuse et fournit tout pour votre groupe entier. La cuisine est bien équipée et idéale pour recevoir. Avec une table de baby-foot dans la salle de jeu à l'étage et le jeu de fléchettes, 50 'TV et jeux de société dans le salon il ya beaucoup pour vous divertir. Vous êtes sûr de profiter de l'expérience du Vermont dans cette maison récemment rénovée.

Great location

This rental is spacious, easy to find, parking, and close to the general store and in between Stratton and Mt. Snow. However, the owners have DSL for ISP svce and it was terrible. Streaming quality and connection was very bad and this should be highlighted in their listing that if you need reliable wifi or cellular service, look elsewhere. The water smelled of iron and sulfur, which was not great to shower with let alone drink. The dishwasher was broken and I found out after the host told me the next day.

Nice old house, convenient to Mt Snow

House is nicely renovated, well equipped, and comfortably fit 9 adults. We rented it for a family ski weekend and it met our needs. Less than 15 minutes to Mt. Snow. Owner was very responsive to questions, lockbox made check-in easy. House is in between 2 roads with very little yard so not much room to be outside if you rented it other times during the year. Parking is across the street from the side of the house. Easily fits 4 cars. There is no working fireplace as described and the gas 'wood stove' was out of order which was disappointing. Happy to have been required to purchase a damage insurance policy as we are currently disputing a damage claim made by owner. We have an excellent rental history and have never had an issue like this before. Going forward we will take video of properties when we arrive and before we leave.

Excellent house and location for touring Vermont

We thoroughly enjoyed our summer stay. We were able to check out a new town and find new, enjoyable hiking trails every single day of our 8 day visit. Vermont is gorgeous, and from the central location we were able to have day trips even to Burlington and Albany. The wi-fi was adequate. The kitchen was nice, and had plenty of dishes/cookware. The furniture was comfortable, and the cleanup instructions were easy to follow.

Great Location and Spacious

Perfect place for our quick stay. Beautifully renovated historic home. The large living room was great for gathering as was the kitchen/dining area. Very well stocked kitchen. Better than my own home! Close to a local market and a babbling brook. Highly recommended.

Great house close to Mount snow!

This is a great property close to Mount Snow - 10-minute drive. Spacious house, fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, pots etc. Lots of additional items as well. We had a great stay here!

Perfect spot for a family ski vacation

Location was perfect. Very close to My Snow. There was a cute convenience store within walking distance. The house was very clean. Plenty of rooms and plenty of space in the kitchen and living room for everyone to eat together or hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and extras. They provided plenty of towels, trash bags, toilet paper... Even even dish soap, laundry detergent and dishwasher soap. So much more available than you typically see at a rental. It was much appreciated. It is a great house. We had a wonderful trip. I'm sad to leave. We highly recommend.

Beautiful area, plenty of comfortable living space, and friendly folks.

Was plenty large enough. Seems everything was reasonably close, something to do or see is about a 1/2 hour away in any direction (hiking, swimming, shopping, restaurants). Communal rooms are suitable for family gatherings & plenty of bedrooms to allow for privacy. Nice that there was a game room on the 3rd floor so could split off to have a group watching a movie in the living room and others playing games two floors away. Kitchen was well appointed and user friendly with a little reorganizing. Plenty of storage. Very nice that it’s open to the dining room so the ones cooking weren’t isolated from the gathering. My extended family with two young children were quite comfortable there. There wasn’t a lot of outdoor space & is on a very busy intersection but the space inside & availability of outdoor attractions nearby more than made up for it. I can definitely see how it would be great for those coming to the area to ski. Not being a skier I’d return in the summer to enjoy the mountains, lakes, and trails. We were there over the 4th of July so met many of the locals who were all friendly and pleasant.

My family and I had a great time. The house is beautiful with had so much room for us (4 adults, 3 children). This was our first time visiting Vermont and I am very happy that we chose this home to stay at.

We felt right at home!

The Historic Ski House was a great place for us for the weekend. Plenty of room for the 7 of us and it was very comfortable for all. The home is new on the inside and very nicely furnished. We all enjoyed ourselves so much that we have decided to make the weekend an annual event. Kyle was very helpful and was available the day of check-in to help me out. Many thanks Kyle!

Great house. Owners have done terrific job of renovating. Super convenient to Mt. Snow.

We had a great time at the Historic Ski Home. House is well equipped. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living room all very nice. No cell service, which can be either positive or negative depending on your preference. It was nice for us. The proximity to the street made it noisy at times. Overall, great experience.

Needs a little tender care

The house was very spacious for our group of eight retired adults with 3 levels, but there were some things that would have made it more enjoyable. We arrived after dark and parking was not very well marked, neighbor's vehicle was in parking spot, very little lighting to the house from the parking. The kitchen was very spacious but very disorganized, it was surfaced clean but need to have food from previous renters thrown out. Overall the rental was clean but need to be more detailed in the cleaning ( dust on lamp over counters and table, base boards, no wash clothes, and very thin towels. ) We understand that it is an old house, and there are things about renting an old house that will not be perfect but the housekeeping should be.

We all very much appreciated the clean and convenient location of the home we stayed in. Thank you very much. One or two additional things would have made it even more enjoyable. It would have been much appreciated if every room had an air conditioner unit or even a ceiling fan or even a box fan. It was dreadfully warm and because of that we had to open every window in our bedroom which unfortunately did not help. In fact it made matters worse because of the two main roads that formed a perfect V, each road running right along each side of the house, which we did not notice in the picture of your home. This made it hot and very noisy with almost constant traffic into very late hours of the night and very first thing in the morning. I'm sure if we had rented in the winter it would have been different. Once again, thank you for the much appreciated use of your home.

Beautiful house, beautiful location

I chose this house because I wanted to get away from the city July 4th with my dog. I couldn't have asked for a better time. Everything was decorated beautifully and as an experienced cook, I loved the open kitchen. There was a bunch of hiking/walking trails nearby and the towns of Wardsboro and nearby Wilmington were awesome. I would definitely book this house again!!!

Great house great location

Great house, easy to get to, plenty of parking, tons of room. Would get a perfect rating but there was 0 cell service (on ATT and Verizon, at least) and no wifi which made everything from looking up weather reports to texting friends to coordinate plans all but impossible.

Perfect Weekend Retreat

This is a very spacious and newly renovated historical house. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for the 10 of us. The gas fired wood stoves sets up a great relaxing atmosphere after snow boarding all day. The large kitchen and living room was perfect. We would highly recommend this to everyone. Thanks for making this a the memorable weekend.

Historical Getaway

The pictures do not do the house justice. The house is extremely spacious to accommodate a large group. There was enough hot water for our group of 12. The owners provide the basic kitchen appliances, towels, and bedsheets. They were also very communicative before our arrival. I highly recommend this house, it is an amazing spot for escape the city and a great bonding location with friends.

Vermont Getaway

Beautiful home! The house has everything you could need and is huge, with three different levels. Everything is tastefully updated, while still maintaining the charm of a country home. It was great for staying with a group because there was lots of space and privacy. We really enjoyed the large porch and fire pit outside as well. I would definitely book again. The owners were great to work with!
