I almost don’t want to write all the wonderful things about Sabine’s place for fear everyone will found out just how magical this place is and it will be all booked up or out of my price range for the future. A perfect place to unwind for the week - thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us and we look forward to returning next year.

We enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful location of this property. The dock, kayaks, canoes are great amenities to enjoy. The property was well cared for and clean. It has a cozy, rustic 90s vibe. Location is a bit far out from groceries/town so make sure you packed what you need for your stay.

The cabin was very clean and beautiful. The surrounding area was so tranquil. The host was very accodating with changes in our booking. We would love to go back and stay again.

Beautiful property - small fenced yard with fruit trees and an incredible view of the lake. Kind and generous hosts. 45 minute drive to grocery store - which is fine, if you prepare properly. Would definitely stay again.

Very beautiful property. It was so quiet and peaceful. The beach was lovely, although we didn’t go when it was warm enough to swim. I suspect it’s nice for swimming as well. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for tranquility. Definitely stock up on groceries before you go.

Excellent stay!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. The location is beautiful and we found the unit to be extremely clean. We would certainly return!

Really beautiful spot!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and the beds comfortable. The access to the lake was outstanding and the area is just beautiful. The trip down the driveway to the cabin is just incredible. We loved the visits from the host’s lab, such a sweet girl, and the beach access was incredible. The lake was nice and warm for swimming or playing fetch with the dogs.

Peaceful and serene gateaway

Thank you for hosting our family, we enjoyed the cottage (clean, well apointed, decorated), the lake (clean and swimable) and the canoes/kayaks (lots to choose from). A little piece of paradise!

This was our third stay here and was just as wonderful as the first. The property is practical, thoughtfully maintained, and has everything a family needs for a comfortable getaway. Perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet and nature. Watercraft are available for use, and the lake is just a short walk through a wildflower meadow. The beach is private only to guests staying at the two properties on site. The lake is a reservoir, so water levels vary, but it’s always swimmable regardless of water level. We’re so grateful to have found this special place, truly a paradise.

We couldn't of pictured a better first for our family vacation. The cottage was quaint, peaceful and above all, relaxing! Exactly what this family of city dwellers needed to recharge. Thank you for the hospitality and the use of your cottage.

Excellent Property for our Mini-moon

We decided to stay for a few nights after our wedding at this peaceful and relaxing property. We had a fabulous stay with our dog, relaxing and spending time on the beach and in/on the lake. Very private and remote. Our host was amazing and very communicative, even offering some fresh veggies during harvest season! Thank you!

Retreat

This property was so peaceful and serene. Wake up to the beautiful lakes and mountains, fire on the beach with the friendly horses. Didn’t want to leave.

Peaceful fun get away

We loved the clean well appointed cabin. We were 4 adults and 2 dogs yet felt like there was lots of room. Sabine is wonderful, very attentive to our need but she maintained our privacy....even dropped us of fresh veggies from her garden. We loved it there!!!!and the very freindly chocolate lab was an added bonus!!

3rd time the charm

We just love this property. We usually come with our kids and dog but this time just did a couple retreat and it was perfect. It’s quiet it’s beautiful it’s clean. Sabine and her husband and wonderful wonderful hosts. We will be back 😉

A family emergency forced us to postpone our stay. The owners were extremely understanding and accommodating. We've stayed at this property before and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are looking forward to returning. Thank you for being so kind!

Beautiful Rural Getaway

We enjoyed this property so much, it's one of the best we've ever stayed at. The views from the balcony overlooking the property and Arrow Lake were mesmerizing. Very comfortable clean cottage and a good kitchen to work in (bring your groceries!) The owner's horses in the pasture and their enthusiastic chocolate lab retriever were entertaining and only added to the rural atmosphere. Thank you!

Next to Eden, before the Fall......

Clean, well equipped cottage/home. Ideal for a couple or a couple with 2 young children. Water is clean and bottom sandy. Beach is long, sandy and very accessible, views are excellent, dark sky at night makes for fantastic viewing of stars. Owner ready to help in any way. This is a place for quiet, nature and it's beauties. Best holiday we have had in a very long time.
