Dugi Rat

We hade a fantastic week in the beautiful villa. The house met all our expectations and none of us wanted to leave ( two parents and three kids 21,20 and 18 years old). The poolarea is fantastic, during hot days you can find your spot in coozy loungearea to get shadow or stay in full sun all day if preferred. We played volleyballgames in pool and had great time at pooltable in kitchenarea. 5 min walk to beach for swim, restaurants/bars and beautiful morningrun/walks and also to a small but wellsorted supermarket.Hosts were great and the house very clean. We would love to come back! Thanks!

Absolutely wonderful week at the villa. Ivan and Marija are brilliant hosts. We really enjoyed the welcome platter of meats and cheeses on arrival - a lovely touch. The villa was absolutely spotless, towels were plentiful and there was a nicely stocked pantry with salt and pepper, oils, vinegars, coffee pods etc that was appreciated. Air conditioning was really welcome during a very hot spell. The minutest bit of feedback was that some more plastic glasses (adult style not kids) would have been lovely for around the pool. Omis was just down the road and we enjoyed some delicious meals there but there were also some more casual eating options within walking distance that were great - burgers at restaurant 'Local' were delicious. Go and do white water rafting with the Pirate rafting company - recommended. Well stocked small supermarket at the bottom of the hill for essentials. A 10/10 week away with friends in a beautiful location.

The villa is a great property, great facilities and lots of space. We had a very warm welcome with a lovely platter in the fridge. There were beautiful views from the bedrooms. The kitchen and seating area is very well set up with lovely eating spaces. We loved the pool and sunbeds with some shaded areas too. We used the barbeque for evening meals. We walked into Omis for a tasty evening meal. We had a great stay , highly recommended

Fantastic villa, host and location

We had a fantastic holiday at the villa. We loved the area with access to beaches, mountains and islands. We were a family party of seven adults. The villa is spacious, modern, great facilities amongst olive trees in the garden. The host is very friendly and helpful, with a very nice welcome pack of food and drink, which was much appreciated. We highly recommend a stay at the villa.

A Lovely Villa

Villa Olive Grove lived up to all our expectations and was exactly as described on the website. The open plan kitchen/dining area works very well, with the fantastic pool just outside. The sauna, jacuzzi bath, pool table and games room were great, and well used during our stay. The bedroom balconies all have a nice sea view. We really enjoyed our stay, and found the hosts exceptionally helpful at every stage, and we would definitely recommend this villa.

Great property, lovely host

We stayed for a week at Villa Olive Grove and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and had all the amenities we could need. Marija's family were lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The Villa is perfectly situated in Duce within walking distance to local shops, the beach and Omis. I couldn't recommend this Villa more! Thank you Marija for your hospitality!

Wow, what a fabulous villa! We’ve just returned from Villa Olive Grove having had the best time. The property is as beautiful as the photographs suggest if not more so. We had an amazing time in this fantastic property, which has a lovely pool area and really nice BBQ space.3 bedrooms are en-suite, with the 4th having a bathroom just across the hallway. The beds are comfortable, the showers are powerful, and the blackout shutters & air conditioning are great. Ivan and Marija are wonderful hosts. Smooth communication and fast responses from Marija prior to arrival, and nothing was too much trouble for Ivan once we arrived. The meat and cheese platter, and bread, left to welcome us were very much appreciated after our journey. The villa has a range of spices and condiments provided for use, and coffee pods, dishwasher tablets, and washer pods. Beach towels are available in addition to pool towels. The views from the upstairs bedrooms are stunning!!It’s a few minutes’ walk down the hill to the beach, beach bars, and the bus stop - the number 60 bus runs half-hourly between Omis and Split. There’s a small supermarket nearby, but we tended to use the larger Studenac supermarket in Omis. The surrounding area is beautiful! We visited Split, Dubrovnik, Krka National Park, Trogir and Mostar (Bosnia) amongst others. We can recommend rafting the Cetina river with Pirate Rafting, and restaurants Pod Odrnom, Cocopazzo and Coro in Omiš for delicious meals. Such a shame we had to leave!

Family holiday and relax

The villa was superb and Marija and Ivan were great hosts. Excellent pre-travel comms and lovely welcome. Even a magic fairy tidied up the BBQ! The villa itself is stunning. Everything that we needed was there and beds super comfy. Very short walk to the beach with lots of beach bar/restaurant options. The beaches themselves were busy, but sea was calm and warm. The pool and seating area was so nice, we were very happy chilling there. Thank you!

Excellent Villa in Duce

We stayed for two weeks at Villa Olive Grove. It is a beautiful and well-equipped house with all the amenities you could ask for, a nice pool, lounge area in the shadow, pool table, table tennis, and an outdoor dining area with barbecue. The air conditioning in all rooms saved our sleep during the hot and sunny weeks we stayed in the house. The villa is ideally situated in Duce within walking distance to local shops, the beach, and Omis. The kind and friendly people from the house owner family, Ivan and Ljubo, welcomed us and stayed in contact during the whole stay. Thank you! We really recommend this villa!

Stunning Villa

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Villa Olive Grove & had an amazing stay. The villa is the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in with everything you you could ask for & more! We even had fresh bread, a selection of cold meat & cheese & homemade olive oil on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the host’s & communication was excellent. Our flight was delayed for 3 hours meaning we didn’t arrive until 1am but Ivan was still more than happy to welcome us at the villa. The entire property was spotless & there are lots of towels so use in the bathrooms & by the wonderful pool area. There is a small supermarket less than 5 minute walk away & a lovely little beach bar even closer serving delicious cocktails. Overall we could not fault this property & would happily stay again if we return to Croatia. Thank you Marija & Ivan for our wonderful holiday.

Comfortable and Spacious house with plenty to keep you occupied

We had a wonderful stay in this modern and very spacious villa. The house is accurately described in the listing but we found it to be bigger than the photos indicate. It was very clean and well appointed. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during our week stay in Duce so some of the amenities, particularly the ping pong and pool tables were much appreciated. The house is centrally located for those who wish to explore the Dalmatian coast. We had a rental car and took day trips to Krka Waterfalls, Trogir, Split and Hvar. We also visited Omis a few times during our stay. It's just a short drive away and was easily done by driving ourselves, taking an Uber and the bus. There are a couple of bus stops just a few minutes walk from the villa and Omis was only a few stops away. The owners were very friendly and responsive during our stay. Overall we were very happy with our decision to stay at this property in Duce and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on a family holiday.

Fantastic family holiday

What can I say the villa itself surpassed all our expectations and everyone in the party could find no fault with it. We arrived at about 10.30 at night to be greeted warmly by Ivan who showed us around and how everything worked. When he left we found a charcuterie plate in the fridge, all condiments, cleaning and laundry items with a selection of teas and coffees to get us started. Plenty of recommendations for local services which we took full advantage of. Everyone we dealt with could not have been more courteous and nothing was too much trouble. We were a party of 10 ranging in age from 3 to 63 and all want to come back again. We would give the property and service we received a resounding five stars with no reservations. Bravo to Ivan and Marija, I had a very enjoyable birthday celebration which was much appreciated given it has been postponed due to COVID.😁 There was souch to do and would definitely recommend the white water rafting and boat trip.

Fantastic

We have just arrived home. The villa is even better than the pictures. It's a mini palace. The owners are great and communicated well throughout. The pool is beautiful and the whole area is great with nice loungers and sofas, we used the BBQ area most nights, there is a full outdoor kitchen there with plates and cutlery etc. The setting is beautiful amongst the olive and lime trees. Bedrooms are great, nice mattresses, clean sheets, lots of towels, the most amazing views from the top view terraces. Each morning we loved rolling back the electric shutters to reveal amazing views of the sea. There is Aircon and TVs in all rooms. The owners have fully stocked the place, so lots of towels, there is everything you need in the kitchen. There was all the things you often don't get in villas like home made olive oil, loads of condiments, washing tablets, coffee pods etc. All you need to get is food. The town was perfect for us, 3 mins to the beach which has loads of beach bars and restaurants. There are a couple of small shops nearby and the Omis the big town which is also beautiful is 30 mins walk down the beach or 5 mins in the car. The sea is stunning and so clear. We had an incredible week in an amazing villa which had everything. T

Perfect stay

This villa is absolutely perfect for relaxing and memorable holidays. There is nothing missing. Nice little attention on arrival. We were 10 adults, and we couldn't ask for more. It's very clean, identical to photos, spacious, comfortable, with all the necessary equipment, if not more. The beach and supermarket are 2min walk, and we really enjoyed our bbq night outdoor, with an amazing view. The owner is also available if you have any question at any time. I highly recommend it.

Villa was absolutely stunning, Marija answered any queries we had prior to our arrival very quickly. We were greeted at the villa by Ivan who was very welcoming and even supplied refreshments upon our arrival, and gave us lots of information on the area and places to visit. Perfekter Urlaub

Die Villa gibt her, was sie verspricht.

We felt so welcome in Villa Olive Grove, after emailing with Marija, Ivan welcomed us in the villa, there were some snacks waiting for us and Ivan had some great tips for restaurant and excursions. The villa was equiped with everything you could wish for. Outside when it was good weather en the sauna and jacuzzi inside for a rainy day.
