Key Largo est une magnifique maison de vacances en famille situĂ©e Ă  l'extrĂ©mitĂ© est de l'Ăźle, Ă  quelques pas de la plage. Profitez de la vue imprenable sur les eaux bleu-vert du golfe depuis 1 des 3 ponts. L'observation des dauphins est facile depuis la cuisine tout en savourant votre petit dĂ©jeuner. AprĂšs une journĂ©e amusante Ă  la plage, profitez d'un dĂźner au bord de la grande piscine. L'une des 3 chambres a un lit king size et une salle de bain privĂ©e tandis que l'autre chambre principale de l'espace de vie comprend 1 lit queen size. Les enfants apprĂ©cieront l'aventure de dormir dans le loft qui a 2 lits jumeaux et des fenĂȘtres tout autour. Il y a une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec un grand coin repas Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du salon. Le patio sous Key Largo comprend un barbecue de style parc et suffisamment d'espace pour nettoyer les prises fraĂźches de la journĂ©e, ainsi qu'une douche avec de l'eau chaude et froide pour un rinçage rapide avant de se diriger vers une nuit de jeux amusants et familiaux. Laveuse et sĂ©cheuse au niveau d'entrĂ©e, il est facile de garder la maison sans sable.

Awesome property, fantastic location.

Very close to the beach, had everything needed for a great stay. Pool was fantastic. Great Gulf views and breeze. The home was open and airy, steps from the beach, a few blocks to town. Very convenient to every thing the Island has to offer

Great Location

We really enjoyed our weekend away. The location was perfect. You can see the ocean from living room , kitchen and decks! Having the pool was a plus also. Will definitely stay here again in future.

Great location and great trip!

The house was just as pictured and described on the listing. It is an older house but perfect for a family beach trip. The location is great-an easy walk to the beach and an awesome pool. We have a 6 and 8 year old who also loved the loft area! Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful house full of character

Love this house. It has lots of charm and fantastic ocean views from the decks. The pool is also wonderful and surrounded by a great deck. Only a short walk to the beach. Will be back again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Loved stayed at this property and my only concern was the decking around the pool needs some attention. Several nail heads sticking up and could have been a concern for barefoot coming out of the pool. Definitely a fabulous stay for the price. Loved the location and ease of contacting the property management with any questions and great location.

Great rental close to the beach with an awesome private pool

This is a perfect vacation spot. We fell in love with St. George Island! The house is a short walk to the beach, where I enjoyed morning sunrise jogs, and our family relaxed and played in the ocean during the afternoons. Views from the upper deck on the rental were great. Our favorite part of this house is the pool; itÂŽs a fun, private oasis. The owner was super helpful and quickly responded to our question prior to arrival. We definitely will visit SGI again!

A relaxing beach getaway

We loved this unique beach house, especially after a year of no traveling. The pool is the chef’s kiss of this rental-it was so wonderful having a private pool all to ourselves. My kids absolutely loved it. Super quick walk to the beach; we enjoyed morning walks along the shore. The house was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. Love St. George Island

We really enjoyed the Key Largo house. It was just want we needed. A new binder for information is desperately needed (if I could have found a binder and covers, I would have redone it myself). The pool was the best - big enought to do a few laps. Thanks.

Perfect beach house!

Our family of 5 (kids--14, 12, 10) had a great experience staying at Key Largo in July. The house was clean, beds comfortable, & the A/C worked perfectly. The pool & lounge area is incredible!! The crow's nest was a favorite with the family--perfect ocean/island viewing. A easy stroll across the street to the quiet, lovely beach. Used the grill & picnic area under the house to grill Snapper & Bass caught on a fishing trip. Thanks for sharing your wonderful beach house!

Great house and island

Our whole family needed this week like crazy! It was busy on the island due to spring break, but everyone we met was super friendly and there was a lot to do. We rented kayaks and paddle boards from Journeys, ate out on the island and across the bridge in Apalachicola, and visited the state park at one end of the island, too. This place is fantastic. The house was super nice - could not have loved it more. Great view, the pool is huge and awesome, and the owner was very pleasant. Perfect size for our crew, and we'd definitely stay here again.

Such an amazing place. Not a huge property, but way more space than you would ever think! Close to the beach, a huge pool, and a great floorplan for us. Kids went upstairs. We had 2 rooms downstairs. The owner was so nice and accommodating. Will be back!

Owner was cool, place was awesome, short walk to the beach and a comfy pad to crash at. The little ladder that leads up to the crow's nest up top was gone, I'm assuming due to the hurricane damage, that was dissapointing - I wouldn't knock a star off for acts of god though. Hopefully they'll fix it soon! Would stay again.

Wonderful home in great location!

Had a fantastic stay in this property. I was glad the house was so well laid out since I didn't do my homework well enough to see that the weather isn't typically all that warm in early April in that area. The house is older and has signs of wear and tear, but it was clean and well furnished. The windows along the sides of the house (both sides of living room and one wall of each bedroom) were boarded up, which we didn't expect and made it darker inside. Just things to be aware of. We would happily stay in this home again!

The property is OK, I saw a lot of things that need to be addressed in the porches/ balcony areas. The interior was nice but we dealt with a leak at the bottom of the stairs from the a/c the whole trip. They sent someone out to fix it but it persisted an hour after they left. The pool area was great and where we spent most of our time! It's about a quarter mile walk to the beach so that was nice as well. It was a good stay just thought it could definitely be upkept a bit better for the price.

First trip to SCI did NOT disappoint!

Our first trip to SGI was fantastic! Great weather, great accommodations, amazing food! Can’t wait to return. The house was much more spacious inside than the pictures showed. We had two adults and three girls ages 13,12, and 7. The crow’s nest room was great for the seven year old! There was a mild musty smell as you go to the top of the staircase, but nothing a plug in air freshener couldn’t fix. The other two bedrooms were also great for our party. The pool was amazing! Very big and DEEP! The kids loved it and I enjoyed the shallow area for sunning without getting too hot. All in all, a great property and a great vacation!

Lovely place on St George

This was our second stay at Key Largo. The house has everything you need for a small family beach vacation. The pool is really nice (when it's warm enough), and we really enjoy the raised back deck. Really love the inclusion of a beach buggy with the house. The stairs up to the loft are a bit steep / non-standard...I would not want very small children trying to climb up and down them. They're perfectly functional but folks may have varying comfort levels with them. We just stayed on the main floor which is all we really needed. The check-in is only available from 4-5pm at the office. They do an after-hours lockbox if you call them. We called last year but forgot to tell them we'd be slightly after 5 this year. They called and we worked it out just fine, but it would be great to skip that step and just have the entry code delivered over text/email to just avoid the dance of going to the office for some paper in the first place.

Great pool!

The house was in a great location and the pool was awesome! The house has two bedrooms on the main floor (one flight up from ground level). Each bedroom as an attached bathroom both accessible to the main living space. The third bedroom with twin beds is in the “attic”. To access you climb stationary attic stairs that are not easy to maneuver coming down. Do not recommend for someone older or without great balance because as you start down them there is no handrail until you are at floor level. The kitchen was ok. The pool is definitely the highlight of the house. Very deep with a nice in water tanning ledge. Also had a nice seating area at the deep end. However, the yard is not suitable for anyone to walk in outside of the swim platform. The yard is littered with old wood - fence maybe - with nails, plastic yard decor and beer cans and bottle tops. The grass is overgrown and the palm trees need to be trimmed up. Overall a nice stay - would stay again.

Great place overall, just a few very small things to keep in mind.

Overall, we loved it. It’s conveniently located, close to the beach, and they provided a beach cart and a few chairs which was nice. The cart still requires some cardio getting it over all the sand, but it’s worth it in the end. We put it on the back of our golf cart, parked on Gorrie Ave next to the access point which cut the work in half. The pool is awesome, a little deeper than we expected it to be, but that wasn’t an issue. The beds were comfortable. The property, equipment, and appliances were all well maintained and in working order. We only had 2 small issues. 1) It seems like there have been some renovations to the property. This isn’t an issue in itself, but I do believe the listing has both the before and after pictures up, so it was a little confusing trying to determine how many bedrooms and beds there were with the total number of pictures compared to the listing info. Again, very small gripe. 2) There was a small intermittent leak from the ceiling in the kitchen. We notified the management office and they had some folks come out and investigate, attributed it to an AC line and took a corrective action right away. It did continue to drip some, but nothing that really affected our stay. We just didn’t have anything on the counter where it was dripping and placed a cup there to catch the water.

Needs multiple repairs

So far the house is great as far as space, beds, pool. There are window AC units in each bedroom but the main AC has frozen up since we've been here and the fan doesn't appear to be in taking or blowing air from AC unit. It was 82 degrees in house yesterday - same as outside. One child threw up last night - may not be due to heat but certainly doesn't help that it's so warm inside. The sliding door to the main deck is impossible to open and obviously off the track and appears to have been repaired before. So we can't even open the door to let air in or sit out on the deck. Several windows are also broken and missing screens. Only 2 small windows opened with screens so we could get some air movement. The ice maker was broken when we got here and they said 1 week for parts. The showers are very small - I am a small person and can't imagine a large person trying to move around in there. Found a spider on shower curtain. The sink in master bath is very slow draining. The gate to the beach path by the pool has a lock on it that looks like it hasn't been opened in ages and no key is provided. So you have to walk out to the sidewalk and around to get to the beach. Kind of a pain with 3 small kids and beach wagon to carry. Also when we arrived wifi and cable tv weren't working. Hubby had to reset everything and fiddle with cables for several hours to fix it all. We still are enjoying our trip bc we love st George but the house should be in much better shape. Most of the pool and lounge furniture is broken as well. Kitchen has a very limited supply of dishwater etc. We've stayed at several properties with resort vacation properties and this was definitely the worst.

Biggest complaint: We booked this place largely because the pool area was entirely enclosed - all the pictures made it look private and dog-ready. When we got there, part of the fence had been replaced with a lower and completely see-through fence with lots of space between the bottom of the fence and the ground. Any size dog could have easily gotten out, and that part of the fence is right next to a beach access, so everyone walking by can look right into the pool and entire yard. That was NOT what was advertised. I notice that since we were there, a disclaimer has been added about some pictures may not be up to date. Other concerns: -Check-in and out were inconvenient and poorly communicated. For one thing, listing says check-in time is 6pm, but you have to pick up the keys by 5. It turns out our house was ready by 2, but since we didn't know to call the property management company, we wasted hours hanging around waiting. -House is in a state of disrepair - the sliding glass door in the living room is damaged and won't even stay closed all the way, so you have to prop it closed with a rod every time. -Construction debris all over the pool yard. My wife got two inch-long siding nails stuck in her shoes and my dad got one. Thank goodness they were wearing thick soles. I would NOT plan to bring children here if you plan to enjoy the pool. -Both indoor showers had masses of hair stuck to the shower walls when we arrived. -The owner was completely unsympathetic to my complaints and got aggressively defensive every time. She takes zero ownership or responsibility - instead of even a simple "sorry," she simply explains why things are the way they are and/or shifts blame onto the property management company. To be clear, some things were indeed the fault of the company, and she had a good reason for replacing the fence, but nonetheless, the house was not as advertised and we had serious issues, and a little compassion and civility would go a long way. -Worst-equipped rental I've ever stayed in - there wasn't even a single trash bag for us. Pros: -Pool is AMAZING. We spent a lot of time down there. -Owner is very responsive and typically answers quickly, which we appreciated. -We enjoyed the location and ocean view. -The house definitely has personality. -Great decks - we ate every meal at the picnic table on the deck. -Outdoor shower and laundry were nice features. -The window units in the bedrooms provided great white noise for sleeping.

A dump in need of many repairs- DO NOT STAY HERE

It was raining when we arrived, and there are water leaks from the top floor balcony into the living room area and onto the couch. A large puddle of water and rapid drip-dripping was the first thing we saw. It is obvious that this has been an issue in the past, and not repaired, as there is visible old water damage and rotted wood and paint in the areas the water comes in. Issue one. Next- how run-down the place is. The back slider won’t close, or lock- there’s a pvc pipe you have to jam into the track to secure it. Chipped paint everywhere, kitchen sink cracking and brown-stained, shower handles that leak with hard water stains dripping down the shower wall. Master bath toilet was knocked off the seal, so it smelled like raw sewage for awhile until I pushed the toilet back into place and we aired it out. I could go on, and I wish I could post pictures with this review, but needless to say this place is NOT what is represented in the VRBO listing. Next up is the lack of cleanliness of the place. Dishes still dirty. Kitchen counter sticky. Water spots on the faucets and bathroom counters. Dirty handrails by the stairs- we ran a sponge along the rail, and the white sponge turned black with gunk. When we took off our shoes, we could feel grit and sand and dirt on the floors. Again, I wish I could post pictures, but the whole place just felt dirty. They need new cleaners. Lastly, the communication with the owner. I understand that damage and leaks can’t be predicted (although these leaks are obviously old and haven’t been fixed), but when I spoke with owner, instead of being apologetic she was more worried about a bad review, and just wanted to cancel our trip in VRBO and pass me off to her property manager on the island. I was not a valued customer having a serious issue in her home. I even sent pictures of the leak to try and help, and still never got an “I’m sorry this happened”, or anything. We had to stay two nights until we could find another place, as the only other property her manager had open was much smaller, only 1 bathroom, no view, etc., but that’s not her fault, there just weren’t any other options as it was last minute and spring break. She kept the FULL amount for the nights we stayed. I asked her why no discount after all of the above, and her reply was “I have refunded the amount that I have to refund.” I asked her if she truly thought that was fair after how our family vacation went in her property, and no response.
