The lodge is designed with both relaxation and comfort in mind. The primary suite offers a spa-inspired bathroom with a deep soaking tub that feels especially indulgent after skiing or hiking. Spacious living areas provide plenty of room for groups, while thoughtful details give the home warmth and character. Outside, a private hot tub and al fresco dining area invite you to unwind beneath the stars, sip your favorite drink, and take in the crisp mountain air. Whether you’re après-skiing by the fire or sharing a meal on the patio, Ute Lodge is the perfect setting for creating lasting memories with family and friends.
Telluride itself is one of Colorado’s crown jewels. Once considered the state’s best-kept secret, it has become a top destination for its breathtaking views and endless opportunities for adventure. In the winter, hop on the gondola for seamless access to more than 2,000 acres of world-class ski terrain. When the snow melts, the mountains transform into a playground for hikers, bikers, climbers, and fly-fishing enthusiasts. Summer also brings iconic cultural events like the Telluride Film Festival and the legendary Bluegrass Festival. No matter the season, your stay at Ute Lodge places you at the heart of it all.

This home has 3 living room areas and 2 primary bedrooms, making it ideal for multiple families, ski groups, retreats, and large gatherings. Kids have a blast here while adults can entertain guests on multiple levels throughout the home.

Rec and TV Room: A card table, games, and large bar area create a cozy setup for family movie nights or après-ski entertainment.

Private Hot Tub & Outdoor Living: Enjoy a private hot tub, outdoor dining area, mountain air, and peaceful alpine surroundings after a day on the slopes or trails.

WiFi: WiFi is available throughout the home for streaming, browsing, and remote work when service conditions allow. Please note that mountain weather and the remote alpine location can occasionally impact internet reliability and cause temporary outages.

Family Friendly: A pack ’n play travel crib and high chair can be rented from Traveling Lite by Patti. She has everything you could need.

Ski Access
This is not a formal ski-in/ski-out property. However, direct ski access is at your fingertips.
Ski Out: You will exit left of the front of the home and walk slightly uphill approximately 150 yards under the bridge to access the Bridges ski run, which funnels into Lift 1 and Lift 10. These lifts access terrain ranging from bunny slopes to double black diamonds.
Ski In: Exit at the Bridges ski run bridge and walk approximately 150 yards back to the home.

Discount Policy: We do not offer discounts on our homes, and we kindly ask that guests do not request them. Our properties are priced competitively based on market conditions, quality, and overall guest experience. In our experience, guests primarily focused on discounts are often not the best fit for the experience our homes are designed to provide.

Getting Around
*Dial-a-Ride is available for hassle-free transportation around Mountain Village only, making it simple to explore everything from ski slopes to shops and dining. We will provide the code upon request. This service is not available during the off seasons.

Parking
• A maximum of 3 vehicles may park on-site in the driveway
• No street parking is permitted at any time
• Local parking lots are available for an additional fee (details provided by caretaker upon request)

Additional Information
Early check-in between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, if available, is $100. Late check-out up to 12:00 PM, depending on availability, is also $100. We will send a request for payment through the online travel agency.

Summer Notice: The main living room fireplace will be turned off until September 15. The fireplace in the primary bedroom and the fireplace in the downstairs living room will remain operational for guest use.

No Pets: Pets are not permitted. Unauthorized animals may result in a $700 fee.

Service Animals: Airbnb-permitted service animals are welcome. We will ask the two allowed service-animal questions.

Emotional Support Animals: Not accepted is not required by law.


Important Notice About Altitude
This home sits at nearly 10,000 feet elevation. If you are altitude sensitive or unsure how you may react, we highly recommend renting an Oxygen Concentrator from Oxygen Delivers. Having this device can truly save your trip and allow you to fully enjoy your stay. We also recommend drinking plenty of water and electrolytes to help minimize altitude sickness.

• 4-wheel drive or AWD strongly encouraged in winter
• No pets - Unauthorized pets will result in a $750 penalty
• No air conditioning (AC is very rare in Telluride due to the cool mountain climate)
• The garage is private owner storage and is not available for guest use

Starter Supplies
The home includes a starter supply of 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and 2 rolls of paper towels per kitchen to help you settle in comfortably. Should you need additional supplies during your stay, Village Market is conveniently located just 5 minutes away.

Seasonal & Local Notes
• Telluride has “off seasons” in spring and fall when some restaurants, activities, and services may be limited. Please confirm availability in advance if traveling during these times.
• Guests are responsible for checking local road and weather conditions, especially in winter.

Travel Insurance & Weather Policy
While we want you to have the best experience possible, please understand that weather conditions and resort availability are outside our control. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for weather-related issues or ski resort closures.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip. Our cancellation and refund policies apply in all circumstances, including but not limited to weather events, natural disasters, illness, flight delays or cancellations, road closures, and personal emergencies. Travel insurance can help cover these unforeseen situations and provide peace of mind.
