To address your concerns regarding the comfort of the home, we would like to provide additional information based on our standard operating procedures and House Manual. Door Policy: We require that the front and back doors remain closed at all times. This is a critical safety measure for the pool area and is also essential for keeping out flying insects. Bedroom Amenities: We strive to ensure a restful environment by providing all bed linens and a specific number of pillows—two each for upstairs sleeping areas and three for the main bedroom. Blinds and Monitoring: The request to keep the family room blinds open is strictly for pool safety, providing a clear line of sight to the water at all times. As noted in our manual, the pool area is internet-monitored for the protection of our guests. Technical Function: Following your feedback, the wall-mounted fireplaces and bedside lamps were tested for mechanical function as well as responsiveness to the smart home commands found in the guest book; all were found to be in proper working order. Cleanliness Note: We take pride in the cleanliness of our home and have scheduled cleanings prior to every guest stay to ensure the property is ready. Please understand that your request for an early check-in was denied because our cleaning team was still on-site to ensure the unit was properly prepared for your arrival. We will review your comments regarding the BBQ with our team to ensure our high standards continue to be met. Safety Protocols: Our manual uses bold text for critical safety and maintenance rules—including age limits for bounce houses and the requirement to keep the back door closed—to ensure the home remains in top condition for everyone. As a final note, we provide a 24/7 contact number for urgent maintenance issues. Had we been notified during your stay of any issues with the lighting, fireplaces, or perceived odors, we would have dispatched a team immediately to resolve them for you.
