Il était une fois sur une dune de sable naturelle à Port Aransas jaillit la propriété la plus insolite de cette communauté de plage, le dôme et le chalet dans les dunes. Ce chalet de plage pittoresque, calme et extrêmement confortable partage la piscine immaculée avec le propriétaire de la maison Dome. Le propriétaire n'utilise pas la piscine lorsqu'il y a des invités au Cottage donc c'est à vous seul. Le Cottage dans les Dunes a sa propre terrasse donnant sur la piscine et est élevé de la rue par environ 20 marches. L'aménagement paysager à la fois tropical et invitant vous accueillera dans cette escapade pour votre week-end, lune de miel ou petites vacances en famille. Soyez sûr et demandez si votre groupe a besoin d'ajouter du sommeil supplémentaire dans nos propriétés à proximité.

We had such a wonderful stay in Port A! The home was even better than expected. The private pool was perfect for relaxing after the beach, and we loved that it was dog-friendly so our pup could come along too. The host was very pleasant and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. The property truly exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

We Love this Place

This cottage is perfect for two or three people. It's clean and well equipped. The pool is fantastic and very private. The location is in town and close to the beach and we can bring our two dogs.

The Cottage in the Dunes is the perfect size for a romantic getaway and the pool is amazing! It's also really close to the beach and to all the fun stuff in town.

Always love staying here

Such a beautiful and unique property, we stay as often as we can! The private pool and place is always so welcoming and nice. They recently updated the deck so that was a nice touch too. Thank you Rebecca and Anne!

Great little getaway

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Cottage is close to anything you might need and the private pool is excellent. Very clean and kitchen had euphoric might need. We look forward to staying here to again!

Family vacation

Ann and Rebecca do such a good job. The accommodations are always very clean and well managed . The cottage was perfect for my husband and I with our two little dogs . Having the pool right there was so relaxing .

Quaint cottage by the beach

Very nice vacation spot for a couple. Short walk to the beach. Port A beaches aren’t the best but this rental also had a small pool which is nice for after dinner relaxation. The downside is that the pool area is completely visible to the rental property next door and above us. We visited off season so it wasn’t an issue.

Very nice and clean.

We enjoyed the property. The pool was perfect relaxation. The house was very tasteful in decor and color. It was close to our usual haunts, marina, jetties and local restaurants. We never heard the main drive.

Wonderful little cottage!

We absolutely loved staying in this cottage! It was the perfect place for myself, my husband, our daughter, and dog! The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and is easily accessible to the beach and everything in town. It was great taking evening walks to the beach. The pool was an added bonus! It was nice coming back and taking a dip in the pool during the midday heat when we needed a break from the beach. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Great cottage

The weather did not work out in our favor; however, the accommodations were great!The cottage is cute, plenty of room for a family of 4. The pool was perfect. There are a lot of stairs on the property, so if you have difficulty with mobility, this is not the place for you. The property manager is very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend this property.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage the manager was wonderful, it was quite, clean, close to the beach, private. I would say the only thing we didn't like was it had no yard for our four legged boys to strength their legs, run and have their own fun. We will continue to stay with Bee Gee’s they were great, we just need to find one of their properties with more of a yard for our boys. Loved it and plan on staying with them again!

We enjoyed our stay and the place was perfect for family of 3. The only compliant is the frig really doesn’t cool well and I was little nervous about the milk/food. Everything else was great!

Weekend getaway

The house is clean, cosy & well provisioned with kitchen appliances & linen/bathroom supplies. The balcony is closed in so dogs can be let out but there is no grassy area on the property so frequent walks are needed. The beach is a 10 minute walk away & leashed dogs are allowed there. The owner has another property very nearby with a lovely fenced in grassy front yard & graciously allowed us full access which was appreciated. Do note that car parking is on the street & there are about 2 flights of steps from the street up to the property. Communication with the owner at all times was very simple & she was very responsive. All up, it was a very peaceful & relaxing stay & I would recommend this property.

Cottage in the Dunes

Great little place; just right for two people and a small dog. Anne is a wonderful hostess! The cottage has soooo many amenities I didn't expect. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and everything you need to prepare meals. The pool was clean, the lounge chairs are comfortable, and there were even pool toys! My only quibble is that there is no place on the property for your pet to relieve themself. They do have another property up the street with a fenced lawn that is very nice, but I wish I had known this in advance. And yes, you can walk to the beach but it is quite a hike. However, it only takes two minutes by car and a parking permit is just $12 for the entire year so that was fine. If you are looking for something cozy and cute you will love this place.

Very quiet location with a 10-12 minute walk to beach. Beautiful pool next to cottage. Our 8-month-old Great Pyrenees felt at home. Clean living area, kitchen, bath and bedroom, well-appointed. Responsive hosts who are nearby and quick to respond to questions. Most restaurants and stores within a mile to 1.5 miles. We would stay here again

Perfect Anniversary Trip

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend stay at the cottage in the dunes! It was the perfect place for the two of us plus our dog. We loved having a private pool to cool off in after a day at the beach, and loved how close the property is to the beach access point. It was the perfect location to get to everything in town as well! We would definitely come back.

I was raised in Port Aransas and recently returned to the shore from the hill country. I have also taken over my mother's (BeeGee) Vacation Rental Property Management. I love what I do and I love living in Port Aransas. I enjoy meeting travelers and hope that they continue to return to stay with us year after year. My life's motto is "Carpe Diem !"

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

BeeGee had lived in Port Aransas for 35 years, and was acquainted with the Dome and Cottage property and even visited the construction site when it was being built. In 2007, she purchased the property next door and started her quest to acquire the Dome and Cottage. With luck and hard work, she made that dream a reality this past year after having managed it for the former owner for 4 years. I could not be happier to take over the ownership and management of this lovely property. Anne
