Récemment rénové - Peaceful Brookside North Pomfret Cottage

Profitez de vacances reposantes en famille dans notre maison récemment rénovée qui donne l'impression que vous vous éloignez de tout, tout en étant proche des attractions locales populaires si vous choisissez de vous aventurer. Notre maison est nichée dans le magnifique Pomfret VT, de sorte que vous pourrez admirer le paysage de collines vallonnées VT par excellence vers et depuis le chalet.

Détendez-vous et faites un barbecue sur notre terrasse couverte donnant sur un ruisseau paisible pendant que les enfants jouent dans la grande cour arriÚre. Ou installez-vous confortablement sur le canapé à l'intérieur avec le foyer au gaz.

Deux chambres et une salle de bain. Un lit queen et un jumeau sur un lit superposé complet. Draps et serviettes de bain fournis. Laveuse et sécheuse dans une buanderie séparée. Lit pliant en bois également disponible (lit bébé Delta 4470-260, code date: 7 août 2009).

WiFi gratuit et smart TV avec Netflix, you tube, etc.

Vaisselle, argenterie, grandes tasses, casseroles et poĂȘles, bols Ă  mĂ©langer et Ă  servir, outils de mesure et outils de gril fournis.

This was our second time staying at North Pomfret cottage. I came with my husband and 2 kids. First time we came in the summer and had to come back for the fall experience! Everything was much busier in town I must say, but it was so nice having our quiet retreat to go back to. We enjoy cooking in the well stocked kitchen and our kids love roasting marshmallows by the outdoor firepit at night. Everything we needed was there. Just what we wanted for our fall getaway!

It was a lovely house, perfect for chilling out. It felt larger then we expected, and the 3 of us felt like we had plenty of room to have our own space between the living room and the outdoor patio. The board games were a nice touch, we found a new game that we all enjoyed!

We loved every minute of our stay. The cottage was beautiful, quiet, clean and modern. The kitchen was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. We loved the sound of the water running in the nearby creek. The owner was very responsive.

Great Place to Stay

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Location was private and peaceful, but close proximity to drive to Woodstock and Quechee. The view from the back windows and deck of the stream is lovely.

Very nice cabin

A great property, clean and had everything we needed. Location is great - secluded enough to be private, but still convenient to everything and an easy drive to the Dartmouth campus.

Peaceful stay near the AT

Perfect peaceful stay. The back porch was our favorite spot to spend hours. The house was perfect, just big enough to give our neat grown kids space. Secluded enough to bring our boys back to the activites we did all the time when they were little, search stream for critters smores and silly family games but close enough to do activities like introduce our exchange student to the AT and Killington Ski resort.

Adorable Place

Clean and neat and easy to find from the road, I was a little worried the driveway would be hard to see but not at all. The little stream was so delightful, I feel asleep in the Adirondack chair listening to it.

The property itself was exactly as listed and included everything you need froom cooking supplies, wine glasses, cleaning supplies, etc. The host Brad is extremely responsive to questions and helpful. We went during a very cold streak when wind chills were -40°F and felt very safe and comfortable inside. There are upgraded appliances throughout which made the stay feel like home. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience, highly recommened and looking forward to booking a trip when the temperatures aren't as cold to enjoy more of the outdoors near tbe property!

Perfect peaceful getaway!

For our winter break, we always rent a house in VT and ski! For a family of four, this house was excellent! It was clean and had all of the kitchen supplies we needed for breakfasts and dinners. The constant sound and beauty of the stream just steps away was so peaceful. There was plenty of space for us to put our boot bags in the laundry area. The driveway was plowed twice making it easy to get out. There was a quick access to Woodstock, Quechee and the highway. The beds were cozy - a perfect space for a family of 4 or 5. An updated bathroom, a cozy propane wood stove and a smart TV rounded out an excellent stay. If you want seclusion but still be able to easily get to small towns, this is your spot!

Great place

Lovely cottage with a great kitchen, lovely back view, and a very comfortable bed! Slept great! I had envisioned sitting around the fire pit, listening to the comforting sound of the babbling brook
..but this Texas girl found it too cold to stay out for very long!😁. You have to realize I came from 90*+ to 30*. But it would be a wonderful experience in the right(?) temperature. Here’s just an FYI that didn’t distract from a positive experience, just good to know: if the tv doesn’t come on when you press the remote’s power button, check the breaker box. We had to flip the switch for it to work. That also happened this morning with the microwave. Not a problem when you know the solution. We would highly recommend staying here.

Loved how it was kid-friendly with the gates on the deck. Easy check in, well stocked kitchen. Great access to the babbling brook. Awesome location near the museum of science and VINS.

The location was stunning, We enjoyed the fire pit being close to the brook.We were hoping for a starter supply of wood and charcoal and lighter fluid. We did have to drive into NH to locate those items.Also in the bedroom with queen size bed if I may suggest adding a second bedside table. We brought the kitchen table bench into bedroom to accommodate additional needs, plugging in phone charger, place for reading materials etc.Unfortunately upon our arrival the dryer was filled with items. We left them as is. Ample supply of towels!The environment of the home was clean, bright and had a minimalist vibe which we so appreciated. The Folgers coffee was next to empty. We bought fresh ground coffee and left at home as well as fresh olive oil, bag of charcoal and lighter fluid.We understand at times who ever is over seeing the property doesn’t quite pay attention to detail as the owners would.Your landscape crew did show up, mowed and weed whacked. It was one of our mornings that they arrived. We do recommend staying at this home, unique stay with nature experience surrounding the entire property!

This place is really wonderful. Off the beaten path in a beautiful wooded setting with a lovely, crystal clear, babbling brook to sit by or step into and explore. The house is immaculate, comfortable, and very cool (literally and figuratively). There's a beautiful kitchen to cook in. Plenty of space to relax. Bright, open, and airy with lots of windows. You can sit by the brook and build a fire, relax on the porch and sip your coffee, play in the grass in the side yard (great spot for your pup), or swing away on the rope swing. Lots of little, special touches that make this place a treasure. Not a just house, it's a well-loved home. Plus, you're no more than 25 minutes away from fun spots like Woodstock, Quechee, Hanover, White River Junction, and more. And you can drive or bike just down the road and swim in the stunning White River. Also, the owners are so kind and helpful, and available to answer any questions you may have during your trip. I highly recommend this awesome place.

Rental just as advertised. Beautiful location on private creek. Clean, stocked kitchen, comfortable. One star lost because shower water temperature never got hotter than lukewarm. Contacted host about issue but was not resolved.

Quaint location

If you like being close to nature this is your spot. The family room and porch look out over a roaring stream backed by a heavily wooded hillside. Kitchen is great with all modern fixtures. Loved the place overall. If you have any mobility issues it may present problems for you. The bathroom has no grab bars and the shower was very difficult for my elderly mother. Steps to enter. Otherwise all on one floor and nice and open. There is no cell service so download your maps ahead. WiFi is good.

Just Lovely

A nice quiet spot in the country, where you can relax and just take a deep breath. Options for eating "out" are close by and so many things to do. But you can do none of that and still have a really lovely time just listening to the creek bubbling by.

Cozy Cabin

We've stayed here multiple times, and it's been a great experience for our family. Beautiful river behind the house, very cozy family room and open kitchen. Communication is great throughout and we look forward to staying again.

We are a family living in Massachusetts who fell in love with the beauty of Vermont. We love lounging around the house, playing in the brook, and venturing out to Woodstock, Worthy Kitchen, and King Arthur Flour.

We love the deck on this house that lets us sit by the brook. It feels so secluded, but we aren't far from fun things that we enjoy doing. We also love the drive through Pomfret to our house. The scenery is so beautifully tranquil.
