Casa De Las Tortugas (Maison des Tortues) se trouve sur la belle plage haut de gamme de Playa Langosta. Si proche que le surf doit être entendu à peu près chaque pièce de la maison.
Conçu par le célèbre architecte Abraham Valenzuela, exécuté par le célèbre Karl Gronemeyer et construit par les Costaricains avec des colonnes en bois importées, des portes ornées et des objets importés directement d'Indonésie ... Ces deux cultures mélangées créent une évasion sereine en bord de mer. Encore vu et exécuté par Karl, en 2015, Casa De Las Tortugas a fait l'objet d'une restauration soignée qui a renforcé son caractère discret et simple, mais élégant.
Ce havre de paix de 7500 pieds carrés est vraiment unique en son genre, ce qui en fait l'endroit idéal pour une cérémonie de mariage privé Oceanfront, plusieurs familles voyageant ensemble ou des vacances en famille. Il n'y a pas de pièces de monnaie retournant sur qui obtient le maître ... Sur 6 chambres, nous avons 5 chambres de maître en bord de mer. Tous les maîtres sont meublés avec des lits king, des vérandas privées et des vues à couper le souffle. La 6ème chambre est à l'avant de la maison et a sa propre salle de bain ... Parfait pour une nounou ou des adolescents. Chaque pièce de la maison est ouverte et aérée avec une quantité abondante de fenêtres dans le salon et la cuisine. En vous promenant dans la maison, vous vous sentirez instantanément détendu avec des gouttes d'eau provenant des piscines de la fontaine tout au long.
Entrée privée fermée, personnel courtois et accommodant, garage deux voitures, et un gardien de sécurité privée vous assure une bonne nuit de sommeil.
Profitez de notre Internet sans fil WiFi ou laissez le monde derrière vous et dirigez-vous vers la piscine ou la plage avec une boisson fraîche dans vos mains et pour le sable chaud entre vos orteils .... Vous êtes assez proche pour revenir pour une recharge!

Beautiful home with tons of space. We took our family of seven and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, as well as ample additional space. The private pool and beach access was amazing. The daily housekeeper made it a true vacation for me (mom)! The groundskeeper also made our stay so easy, setting out towels and setting up umbrellas, etc each morning, also the nightly security guard made me feel safe, knowing that he was keeping an eye on the property the entire night. The convenience to town was awesome! And the concierge service was great! They made everything run so smoothly

The property exceeded our expectations. The pictures of the beach / ocean do not do it justice. Absolutely magnificent location. Bertha was amazing and was constantly looking after us - going above and beyond every day. The place was immaculate. Great restaurants in walking distance but a perfect feeling of isolation when at the house. We had a party of 10 and there was plenty of space for us all to be together and alone when we wanted. Would love to visit again

The place was the best part of the trip! Pictures and videos are as described. The staff and the communication from the rental group was very fast as well. Only downside was being without water on a few occasions but this was during dry season.

Overall, we could not have been happier with the home, location and interaction with the owner (Chris) and her local team. The house is beautiful and completely renovated within the last two years. It is a killer location right on the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the immediate Tamarindo area as well as surrounding areas (management helped us arrange transport everywhere we needed to go). Chris also provided excellent recommendations for food, activities, etc. The on-site staff were friendly and did a perfect job in making us feel comfortable and safe. We highly recommend Casa de las Tortugas and can't wait to come back in future years!!

Casa de las Tortugas was an absolute dream come true. Wonderful communication from the second. I saw the property on VRBO to the moment. We left our wonderful trip. The cleanliness was top-notch. The location is absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for all 12 adults to enjoy their vacation. The caretakers on the property were absolute wonderful people. We will definitely be back.

This was truly a rare find—an exceptional luxury beachfront villa where every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The property is beautifully maintained, spotless, and feels both private and inviting. The staff went above and beyond and were genuinely warm, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. Overall the house was beautiful and the staff were lovely. The A/C unit in the primary bedroom was very noisy and the temperature reading on the unit was bright, it was difficult to get a good sleep. There was an issue with bees in and outside of the home. View was lovely. Beach directly in front of the house was very rocky- needed to walk down the beach a bit to access a sandy beach for the children and adults to swim.

We are sorry to hear parts of your stay didn't meet expectations. The AC unit you mentioned had a known issue from a prior stay we thought was fixed and has since been Fully Replaced. The AC light can also be adjusted or turned off using the remote provided by your bedside. Regarding the bees, this was not reported during your stay. Only after and I was told it was on your last day. We have staff there 6 out of 7 days and our concierge 7/7 days. We make ourselves available to all guests and encourage immediate communications so any issues can be resolved promptly. It's also important to note the home was left with damage and significantly more cleaning due then a standard checkout which impacted our turnover timeline for incoming guests. Because of this experience we have clarified our policies on our contract and welcome letter to better outline expectations for the care of our home and checking out procedures so incoming guests vacations are not effected. We remain committed to providing a clean, well maintained home and a great experience for future guests.

This home and property are absolutely lovely. The host, Chris, provided us with a great guide for the home and things to do in the area which was greatly appreciated. The staff took great care of the home while there, and were very friendly and approachable. The layout of the property allows for both congregation and separation for larger groups, which we all really appreciated. The location is perfect too, as it's close enough to downtown to take a golf cart to just about everything you'd imagine, while also be separated in a quiter community. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly refer anyone we know to stay here.

We had a mixed experience with this property.On the positive side, the location is absolutely outstanding... the views are stunning and exactly what you hope for in Costa Rica. The layout of the home is beautiful, and the in-house staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and a real highlight of our stay.It’s also worth noting that two of the bedrooms are not directly accessible from the main house. For our family with young kids, this was a challenge as they were not comfortable sleeping separately. However, for a group of adults or older kids, this setup would actually be fantastic and offers great privacy.That said, there were some issues that impacted our overall experience. The air conditioning in the master bedroom made loud banging/clicking noises throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. In another room, there was an apparent leak from the AC unit, to the point where a bucket had to be placed on the bed to catch water.In summary, this is a beautiful property with an incredible location and great staff, but it currently falls short for the price we paid.

We are sorry you experienced issues with the air conditioning. It's unfortunate you feel because of these two issues that the house is not worth the value. Our home is equip with 9 AC units that are professionally maintained and run continuously in a tropical, high humidity, salt-air-rich environment. While we take extensive measures to keep all systems in excellent working order, occasional issues can occur given the level of year round demand. Our AC units never shut off as they would in Canada or northern states. When an AC unit has issues our standard practice is to respond immediately and in your case a technician was dispatched the same day to resolve the issues. With this being said, I would like to recognize our management team for their prompt response in addressing and rectifying the issue. We appreciate your comments and the opportunity to address them. We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to maintaining a high standard of comfort for all guests.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff is incredible!! The housekeeper, the groundskeeper, the security guard and the host are some of the most gracious, kind and considerate people that I have ever met! We loved our time in Tamarindo and this beautiful home! And the howler monkeys across the street were a fun bonus!!

Best Vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at

Beautiful, just like the pictures. Maid service was excellent. Walking distance to town. Private security. Overall exceeded expectations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Family trip

Property was perfect. The only downside was we felt the concierge was not very responsive or helpful as we were trying to plan our trip.

Donald, I'm sorry to hear the concierge did not meet your expectations with communications. I'm assuming this was before your stay. Amazing and exceeded expectations!

There were a total of 12 - (4 couples with each of their teenage son’s) and it was simply amazing! Villa was gorgeous, location was perfect & staff were so helpful. This was our boys Senior spring break trip and we had a wonderful time. The close proximity to town made it great to take a golf cart and provided boys freedom to explore. Having the beach there on property was perfect for our entire group to relax between scheduled outings. We all wanted to stay and not leave! It was a perfect vacation!

Fantastic

The house is great and as advertised. Maria and Susanne were fantastic to work with, very responsive, and happy to give us plenty of activity ideas. It is on the beach even if you can’t tell from the pictures. The location is great also. Maybe a 5 min drive from downtown Tamarindo, it’s quiet - but close to everything.

Amazing Property and Staff

The property and staff exceeded our expectations. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for our family vacation. This is a boutique hotel experience with a home feeling. Anything we needed, Susanna was quick to respond and help us. Clean, organized and luxury Costa Rica living! A short walk to restaurants, beach, or bars. This house is perfect and our family already wants to plan our next vacation.

Beautiful

We rented this property with a group of friends for our wedding. Location was perfect- quiet neighborhood right on the beach and minutes from town. House and grounds were stunning. House staff were helpful and friendly. Owner was not especially friendly to deal with. Perfect place to hold an event and stay with a group.

Sarah, thank you for the positive review. We take great pride in the fact that our home is a unique floor plan that no one can offer. I'm sorry that we do not have a blue print to share of the floor plan. However, I will take the time by phone or email as I did with you to go through each room to describe the unique features and where the location of each room is so you can choose your room accommodations well before arrival. We are delighted to be able to open our home to wedding parties and I believe that we offer a setting that no one else can compare to, I'm glad you agree. I'm sorry if you thought our venue fee covers the wedding and any other event for your guests during the week. I will do better at informing guests that the venue fee only covers the reception and any other events at the house will be extra. We wish you a wonderful life together and hope to have you back to celebrate it. Chris

Wonderful Stay

Just got home from great stay at Casa de Las Torgugas. What a beautiful house and property! Maria was so helpful as the concierge. Bertha and Jose were also great! The nightly guard was much appreciated although we felt very safe. The property was well-maintained, and the house was spotless. Lots of excellent restaurants with just a short golf cart ride. No car needed.

Born and raised in Columbia Missouri, my husband Dan and I still call our hometown home where we met at just 18 years old in 1985. We raised our two children in Columbia and they are now grown and living independently.
Over the years, we have been fortunate to own vacation properties in several beautiful destinations, including Costa Rica, Florida, and Crested Butte, Colorado.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

In 2003- After hearing so many wonderful things about Costa Rica, Dan and I decided to travel to Central America to experience it for ourselves. We quickly fell in love with the breathtaking landscape, the relaxed lifestyle and the warmth and generosity of the local people.
Our first home was a beachfront two-bedroom on Playa Langosta. After nearly a decade of ownership, our love for both the country and the area had only grown stronger, which let us to purchase Casa de Las Tortugas in 2013. The moment we walked through the door we knew it was the one. It truly was love at first sight.
I had never understood the importance of feng-Shui until I entered Casa de las Tortugas.
(feng means "wind" and shui means "water." In Chinese culture, wind and water are associated with good health, thus good feng shui came to mean good fortune)

Since that day, Casa de Las Tortugas has been a place of peace, joy and connection for our family and friends. We hope everyone who stays here feels the same calm, comfort and positive energy that made us fall in love with it and that it becomes a place where beautiful memories are made for you as well.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Casa de las Tortugas has a simple elegance that you instantly see when you drive through the front gates. The house has a large living area that opens up on to a large Lanai that allows you to hear the soothing rhythmic sounds of the ocean. The living area was designed to be open air if desired. Between the Ocean sounds and the gentle breezes, Tortugas will calm your worries away.
We loved the fact that the house had two story wings on each side of the house that jetted off towards the ocean. Each wing had bedrooms overlooking the ocean which makes you feel as if it's your private villa off of the main house. Touring up and down the coast we understand how hard it is to find 6 suites where 5 of them are Full Oceanfront Masters.
Playa (beach) Langosta is literally our backyard and most all of the time it's as if no one knows about it but you.
