La communauté Presidents Walk et Southard Court est située dans le Truman Annex Complex qui se trouve �� 2 pâtés de maisons de la rue Duval et de toutes les attractions de la vieille ville de Key West. Les propriétés sont également situées à moins d'un demi-mille de l'une des meilleures plages de l'île. Les propriétés de Presidents Walk sont des maisons de deux étages qui ont des cours privées au premier niveau et des balcons au deuxième niveau. Sailors Story

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was better than previous rentals. The second bedroom is very small and the associated bathroom shower was difficult to stand in. This rental would be acceptable for a week stay. We are disappointed that one week stays may no longer be available. We are not interested in a month rental, so we will be looking for accommodations other than the Truman Annex.

relaxing stay in key west

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was lovely. The reservation process was super easy. A few things to note - 1- the TV setup is extremely complicated. - They need some instructions also someone needs to check the batteries in all the remotes. 2- The water pressure in the master shower is very slow - 3-Have the ice maker started before you arrive. 4- The sheets could be replaced. Looking a bit wornWe enjoyed our stay. It was very clean - The management was very quick to respond. Did a great job

Beautiful neighborhood

Great place to stay. Helpful staff. The neighborhood is so picturesque. Pool is nice. Parking is very very tight. And figuring out how to get in and out of the Annex is challenging but once you figure it out, it’s easy!

The Sailor's Story was very clean. It was close to everything that we wanted to go to on Duval St., Hemingway House. Michelle from Compass Realty was very helpful with any questions we had, Will stay there again .

Overall Nice but had some issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Compass was mostly attentive to our needs, but there were a couple of things that didn’t get addressed. Upon our arrival we noticed (as did our family staying nearby) a musty smell as you walked in, not pleasant. We had a shower issue that was addressed after the second email. The home itself was clean and the patio out back gorgeous & private. Construction next door was happening but luckily didn’t dampen our visit that much. Kitchen could do with a little updating but it served our needs. During our stay the pool was full during the day, so we had to resort to going in the evening since it’s small. Which is the case with many properties in key west, as expected.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sailor’s Story is clean and nicely appointed with well stocked kitchen essentials and beach towels for the pool. Location is quiet (sans for the remodeling construction next door) and centrally located with easy access to the pool and main gate. Reserved parking spot is covered and just a few steps away from the unit. I recommend replacing the sleeper sofa as it is broken and mattress too thin for the springs. Also recommend listing HOA rules as we were “cited” for a beach towel drying on the front railing

Great place for a great vacay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took our daughters and spouses and it was perfect for us. The house is beautiful, especially the back outdoor space, which we spent most of our time while there. The pool was right behind us and heated perfectly. My only recommendation would be to have a more comfortable pull out sofa bed.

We have stayed in Truman Amex many times. and enjoyed our stay. The property was well appointed with close proximity to the pool and parking. Electronics all easy to use with fast internet. The only improvement would be the inclusion of some beach chairs

Very nice place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a nice, well equiped apartment with a lovely king size bed. For us the steep staircase was a little problem but we are 70+. The railing could be improved (only one side now).The first rental car (a big SUV) didn't fit in the assigned parking.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The maintenance of the condo could have been better. We have stayed in the Truman annex plenty of times and this one was the worst maintained one so far. The front door lock would not unlock or lock with the key. Had to keep playing with it to get it to work. There were broken shutters and water stains on the ceilings. The over all cleanness of the condo was not great. We had to wipe everything down bc it dusty and the floors were nasty. We had to clean them too. The pull out couch bed mattress was broken down worn out and it felt like you were sleeping on springs and metal.

Cool respite

We had a great time, the backyard space was lovely. Unfortunately we weren't able to access the wifi, but the pool wifi sufficed! Definitely would recommend this location.

Great location but couches and rug need to be replaced. Very dirty. Wi-fi didn’t work until half way through our trip. A few broken pictures on walls.

Nice location but the condo can use some TLC

The condo has a lot of potential but is needing some maintenance and TLC. There was a water stain on the 1st floor ceiling from a leak from the 2nd floor tub. The AC vents were filled with lint and needed cleaning. Living room sofa was dingy with stains on the high touch surfaces. The walls needed touching up. The tile floor had cracks and stains
