Other things to note:.
Any vehicle will be able to get up the mile-long gravel mountain road, but take extra care with cars that are very low to the ground. Please note that the speed limit in our community is 15 mph, as the road is narrow at times.
If snow is predicted, 4WD is recommended. The road may not be plowed unless there is heavy (4"+) snow
We get our share of wildlife and other woodland creatures on property â this is very much a cabin, and modern-rustic is the vibe.
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similarâespecially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
We are on a well, so water pressure will fluctuate.
There's no television, but you won't miss it.
There *is* central A/C and heat, a supply of firewood, and a feeling of seclusion from neighboring cabins.
Itâs the best of all worlds: an amazing Shenandoah Valley location, the feeling that you're getting away completely, and an aesthetic you'll want to take home with you.
