Vivez l'été sur Clear Lake! Présenté dans House and Home en ligne, Clear Lake Cottage a tout le charme rustique que vous souhaitez dans un chalet avec tout le confort de la maison. Clear Lake Cottage est situé à env. 2 heures au nord de Toronto. Profitez d'une vue complète sur le lac depuis le chalet, la chambre principale ou le quai au bord de l'eau. Faites du canoë autour du lac et découvrez la nature à son meilleur!

Le chalet a été décoré avec amour avec des planchers et des murs antiques en grange, des meubles anciens robustes et Canadiana, vous vous sentirez instantanément détendu dès que vous entrerez. Le chalet comprend une cuisine de cuisiniers entièrement équipée et tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter pour de merveilleuses vacances en chalet!

Des matins tranquilles peuvent être passés sur le quai avec un café en écoutant les huards résidents. Prenez une pagaie autour du lac qui est lisse comme du verre. Il y a un grand salon ainsi qu'une grande salle de loisirs au niveau inférieur. Beaucoup de plaisir pour les familles ou les couples à la recherche de paix et de tranquillité. L'eau du lac est chaude et calme et parfaite pour la baignade avec une grande plage de sable pour les enfants. Grande pêche sur le lac ou juste au bout du quai pour les enfants. Un panier-cadeau de produits locaux est laissé pour chaque locataire.

Trois chambres généreuses, deux avec lits queen et une avec deux lits jumeaux. Housses de matelas, oreillers et couvertures fournis. Draps et serviettes disponibles sur demande avec un petit supplément pour chaque locataire.

Salle de bain de bonne taille pour 4 pc au deuxième étage.

Clear Lake Cottage propose un espace repas extérieur ainsi qu'un espace repas intérieur. Grand foyer extérieur avec des sièges pour les feux de camp et les guimauves à rôtir!

Situé à 10 minutes au nord de Hunstville, il y a de nombreuses attractions locales ou vous pouvez rester au chalet et profiter du soleil. L'exposition sud-ouest reçoit le plein soleil toute la journée et un coucher de soleil flamboyant la plupart des nuits. Très grand terrain avec juste le bon mélange de soleil et d'ombre, entièrement arboré et parking pour jusqu'à trois voitures.

Animaux acceptés sur approbation. Service de draps et serviettes disponible sur demande à 25. 00 par personne pour la durée de votre séjour.

Blissful summer week on Clear Lake

We absolutely loved our stay at Clear Lake Cottage. It feels a bit like going back in time and staying at a long owned and loved traditional family cottage (but with A/C and wifi ;) We spent most of our time on the dock or in the water swimming, kayaking, and relaxing, and the water was a great temperature and super clean and clear. The kitchen is also well outfitted so we could make some great summer meals. Would definitely come back and recommend!

Nice stay

Nice rustic cottage. Overall family enjoyed swimming in the clear lake and sitting on the dock. Beds were ok and great large master. It is a busy section of the lake but we expected that based on other reviews and were not bothered. There was a dog park directly in front which was an amazing surprise. There are some updates needed that would make this cottage worth the price. Owner very responsive before arrival.

Hi Kathrine, Glad you enjoyed the cottage, we will look into your comments to see what updates you would have liked to see. We have not had any such comments from our other renters. Just to clarify, the dog park is behind the cottage across the road, the cottage property is directly on and facing the private waterfront. Update: Upon feedback from Katherine, we have tightened the handle on the bbq (we were not aware it had become wobbly), removed the chipped shot glass and measuring cup. Sadly, spider webs on the screens is not an easy thing to avoid in our treed setting but we will be sure to keep an eye on that as to the best of our abilities. We do kindly ask renters to tell us if items like a shot glass get broken, or something needs attention like bbq, so that we can replace or repair during their stay or before a new renter comes in but often our renters may not notice if that happens. Our cleaner is not able to check every kitchen item as she is very focused on getting the cottage clean and ready. We are always happy to replace or fix anything during your stay if we are informed of a need! Thanks again for staying at Clear Lake!

Winter break

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were 5 adults staying for a week. The space was great, the hiking in both Algonquin and Arrowhead was easy to reach and the table tennis table was an unexpected bonus!

Rustic cottage

We enjoyed the kayaks and the sandy beach for the 3 and 5 year old...lake setting was pretty and enjoyed swimming with the family..beds were comfortable and bedrooms cozy...the cottage space was roomy enough for the 6 of us...terry was very helpful when we forgot some items at the cottage...

Terry, you are a responsive and thoughtful host. The cottage is as described. Clear Lake is a beautiful, albeit busy lake. There were many motorboats and personal water crafts on the lake during our stay, however will still thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks.

North Muskoka cottage

We had a wonderful time, the cottage was cozy and spacious to accommodate my large family, and there are tons of winter activities nearby. A delightful winter retreat. We will definitely be going back!

Great new year break!

Our family had a great stay here over the new year. Time was spent skating on the lake and playing board games in front of the large fireplace. Great proximity to Arrowhead Provincial Park.

Confortable cottage with lots of character on a nice lake.

Great cottage! Beautifully decorated with antiques and very cozy. We enjoyed the evening in front of the massive fireplace. The dock was nice to relax and admire the fall colours... and enough kayaks and a canoe for long familly paddle on the lake. Not too far from shopping if you forget something. Thanks to the owners for the goodies we found on our arrival!

Great summer vacation cottage!

This cottage worked perfectly for our family/friend vacation! It served all our needs and was 2 yr old friendly with a beach and a large master bedroom. The sunsets were beautiful and neighbours were friendly. We enjoyed having Huntsville just a little over 10 minutes away – great for golfing and afternoon ice cream trips. Terry was a great host and very responsive to all our questions. Hopefully we find time to return next summer!

True Rustic Charm ... a fantastic autum getaway

What a beautiful way to spend an autum weekend. It was peaceful and charming. Terry was the perfect hostess ensuring that everything met our expectations. The fireplace was spectacular and I didn't want to leave! There was such attention to detail in every room of the house. The kitchen was loaded and ready to go. We loved the antiques and little extras. We will be back!

Cozy Winter Getaway

This is the third year in a row that my husband and I have rented this cottage for a long weekend getaway in winter and we will most likely be back again next year. (We usually come in Feb. but were there Easter weekend this time.) The gorgeous fireplace, lovely rooms and charming decor all create an incredibly warm and cozy atmosphere. We could have stayed by that fireplace drinking wine and reading books for weeks. If you are culinarily inclined this is the cottage has everything you need. The kitchen is well appointed with new appliances, high end pots, pans and utensils and basic condiments are all provided. A gift basket of wine and treats was waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage is impeccably clean and very well maintained. The beds are extremely comfortable and the master bedroom has a lovely view over the lake. The owners were very helpful with instructions and any questions we had. The bathroom is basic but clean and serviceable. Although we have only ever been here in the winter, I'm sure it is even more impressive in the summer. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Charming Cottage!

We stayed here with 2 young children (infant and 3 year old) as well as with 1 other couple with another toddler. The cottage is filled with rustic charm, is very comfortable and accommodated us very well. It is furnished with delightful antiques that make the cottage feel very cozy. The kitchen is well-appointed and is stocked better than our kitchen at home. We baked bread and fresh peach pie with ease. The kids had a cute bedroom with 2 single beds and a toy box that kept them busy for hours. On the living room shelf was a collection of Madeline stories that we read to the girls every night. The main bedroom was so spacious that our friend's daughter could sleep in a play tent that they placed at the foot of their bed with room to spare. The cottage has a gorgeous view of the lake and steps out to a beautiful balcony that is gated off on each end to keep the kids safe. The lake is wonderful for swimming. We have lovely memories of our daughter jumping off the dock into her dad's arms. Our friends enjoyed canoeing around the lake and their daughter was so tired out from playing hard on the beach and dock that she kept falling asleep in the canoe. The canoeing was good fun. We loved this place so much that we're going back this year!

They have a passion for all things cottage and lovingly restored this cottage with antique barn board floors and walls, and furnished with sturdy and comfortable antique furniture making it the perfect place to spend a summer vacation. Terry is a food and prop stylist in Toronto and Mark works for Air Canada.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this property for the beautiful westerly views, blazing sunsets and its gentle and pretty slope to the waterfront. The lake is crystal clear and great for swimming with warm calm waters and a lovely sandy beach, perfect for children. We were enticed by the fact that Clear Lake is located just 10 minutes from all Hunstville has to offer. The area residents are friendly, helpful and full of pride for the area. This area is blessed to be part of the great Canadian Shield.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with the brick fireplace and the openness of the main floor. The huge master bedroom with its vintage floors and wood slat ceiling also stole our hearts! The cottage is 1600 square feet of living space, big enough for the family but with a cozy feel. The perfect view of the water from the main or master bedroom deck is one of the best on the lake. Unique benefits are quiet and calm lake, warm for swimming, with sand packed bottom good for swimmers of all ages. Lovely sandy beach with shallow water for small children. Wonderful treed area with wildlife and bird watching. Early mornings can be spent on the dock or decks with a coffee, while you listen to the resident loons on the lake calling to each other.
