Big Bear Lake Moonridge Mountain Retreat
Enjoy the fresh mountain air in Big Bear and enjoy a 5-min drive to both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain chair lifts for your skiing/snowboarding/mountain biking adventures. Then come back home for a nice soak in our hot tub. We've created a beautiful cabin experience for families and friend groups to getaway from the hustle and bustle.
The space
Escape to a cozy mountain cabin with your favorite people to enjoy the fresh mountain air that Big Bear has to offer. We're just a short 6-minute walk to the Moonridge Corridor for a breakfast, lunch, donuts, or coffee! In the winter, there's also a ski shuttle you can catch and leave the car at new your home away from home.
Our paved driveway makes year-round access easy for guests. Snow shovel and pet-friendly salt is provided for the winter. Fall in love with nature even on the inside of our cabin with the warm, wooden walls surrounding you and the big open windows for forest views as you pull back the curtains.
If you need to get any work done, we have hi-speed fiber optics internet available throughout the property. Our smart TV can hook up to any Streaming Services that guests have a subscription for. Please remember to log out when you check out. Unfortunately, our fireplace is only for decorative purposes at the moment. Thank you for not burning anything in the fireplace.
There's a stacked washer/dryer stocked with some detergent packs for any laundry you might need to do during your stay. Feel free to bring your own as long as it is compatible to be used with a TOP-LOADING washing machine.
Outside, you'll find a charming backyard with a hot tub that has privacy screens. Enjoy a little cookout on your summer vacation with a propane BBQ grill or stargaze by moonlight and a gas fire pit. Enjoy being surrounded by enchanting forest trees. Want some more ways to make some fun memories?
Get some rest after all the adventuring and memory-making activities in a few comfy sleeping arrangements with all the accommodations you need to enjoy your stay. Extra blankets and pillows are available for your comfort and fresh shower towels are always provided.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house and the backyard. However, guests must observe the city ordinance of the Good Neighbor Policy and head indoors at 10pm. At a higher altitude, sound carries farther and louder. Please help us keep a peaceful neighborhood by respecting quiet hours.
Other things to note
No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control. From Nov 1-Apr 30, it is REQUIRED for all vehicles to have SNOW CHAINS per state law. However, road conditions change frequently. No refunds given for last minute cancellations for no shows due to road conditions or lack of proper snow equipment for the season. Make sure to check road conditions before driving up the mountain. We will do our best to reschedule your trip or work out a solution in the event of a last minute storm.
Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, mosquitos, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burros (donkeys), bears, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests.
We are required to collect an additional signed Rental Agreement and a signed Good Neighbor Policy from the City of Big Bear. You must sign this prior to check-in or your booking will not be completed.
There is no early arrival or later departure availability during our peak season and holidays. We'd love to respect our cleaning team's schedules during this time.
If you'd like to extend your stay, please contact me the morning of your arrival or departure to see if there is availability.

~Please tell us in advance about your pup: age, breed and whether theyâre fixed. We also love dog photos in case you want to share your cutest pics of furry bestie :)
~Dogs may not be left unattended in the home at any time.
~Pet owners are responsible for cleanup of ALL pet waste indoors/outdoors or guest is subject to an additional cleaning fee. There are extra poop bags in the extra supplies basket on the kitchen counter if you forgot yours at home, and Bona multi-surface cleaner under the kitchen sink should an accident occur.
~By bringing your pet, you agree to be responsible for any damage your pet causes to the property, including (but not limited to) furniture, rugs, floors, doors, bedding, cabinets, landscaping. An additional cleaning fee may apply if any rugs, furniture, bedding, etc need extra time for cleaning if left in a state where we can't let our next guest experience the same decor you did.
~ Note that the back yard isnât escape-proof or animal-proof, so please accompany your pup(s) if they're outside and please keep them leashed when walking around the neighborhood for their protection and yours.
~ Be a good visitor and abide by all posted signs (i.e., whether dogs are allowed in parks or on trails).

California Penal Code: (a) Any person who knowingly and fraudulently represents himself or herself, through verbal or written notice, to be the owner or trainer of any canine licensed as, to be qualified as, or identified as, a guide, signal, or service dog, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six month, by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.

Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times, which includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites upon check out and washing dishes. NO PARTIES, EVENTS or Loud Music. This policy is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies, guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. Guest is responsible for paying for any fines issued by these officers.
NO STREET PARKING. NO YARD PARKING. Parking is only permitted in the driveway. You are responsible for any and all tickets received if you violate this rule.
Please clean up after your pets. No pets allowed to be left unattended on the property.
