The location is great â nice neighborhood just outside downtown Cleveland and steps from the waterfront â but everything else was a nightmare. When I arrived, the host claimed I hadnât paid (despite sending me codes and confirmations) and only gave me the unit number after I proved my reservation.The unit looked cute at first but was filthy: dirty sheets with black marks, no extra bedding, boogers and spit on the bathroom walls, grimy outlets, and a large mold spot on the kitchen ceiling. I sent photos, but the hostâs only response was to ask if I could use different pillows and to say their cleaner âdoes a great job.â No real solutions were offered.Frustrated, I requested a refund and left for a hotel. Later, the host asked if I wanted the cleaner to stop by, but when I declined and asked again for a refund, they dismissed my concerns as âridiculousâ despite the evidence.Thankfully, VRBO customer service stepped in and resolved it quickly. I would not recommend this property or host due to poor cleanliness, lack of professionalism, and zero accountability.
