With no upper or lower neighbors to disturb your peace and quiet it’s ideal for a single or couple seeking to be surrounded by nature. A short level walkway from the parking area just outside the condo provides easy access with no stairs. Enjoy the coastal Superior view from the large lakeside windows and deck looking up the North Shore out over Flood Bay. Relax in the fresh air on the very private deck which is perched high overlooking the waves and rocky shore below. Directly in front of the condo the shoreline is accessible by a railed stairway to the firepit located on the water’s edge.

A recliner, loveseat and dining table at the lakeside windows allow you to view the Lake or enjoy the TV and wood-burning fireplace in the high-ceiling living area. Because this is one of only ten units which have chosen to retain the original wood-burning fireplace, please be aware that guests must provide their own firewood to enjoy this feature. A king size bed and new walk-in shower ensure a comfortable stay. There is even a fully equipped open kitchen with a large prep peninsula tucked in a corner of the living area and the deck contains a grill and table for outdoor cooking and dining. Lakeside Lair may be small, but it’s specifically designed to be the perfect getaway place for one or two. Everything you need….and nothing you don’t.

There is also a full-service restaurant in the resort overlooking Flood Bay adjacent to The Lakehomes property. A mowed walking path running adjacent to Lakeside Lair takes you to the beach area of Flood Bay where another path leads you directly into the resort main building. Guests may also use the resort indoor pool by signing a waiver at the resort and paying a small fee.

The Lakehomes complex contains nearly 1/2 mile of shoreline, easily accessible at several points, and walking trails wind thru-out the property. The outdoor pool and spa are open late May to October and are located within walking distance of Lakeside Lair. Pickleball courts provide outdoor fun. Two Harbors with many restaurants, a grocery store and a new well-stocked liquor store is a short mile away. The 18 hole public Lakeview Golf Course is just across the highway.
