Très joli condo au rez-de-chaussée mis à jour pour vous attendre! Profitez de la cuisine récemment rénovée avec ses comptoirs en granit, ses nouveaux armoires et ses appareils. Toutes les commodités de la maison. Il a des carreaux et meublé pour votre confort.

Il y a un lit en peluche dans la chambre des maîtres, une reine et un jumeau dans la deuxième chambre et quatre lits jumeaux (style superposé) dans la troisième chambre plus petite. Cette unité de 3 lits et 2 salles de bains a une vue sur la grande piscine à l'avant de l'océan, une cour joliment aménagée et l'océan. Vous êtes à quelques pas des plages de sable de sucre et à quelques minutes de la rue historique Augustine.

Nice place.

We weren’t aware of the pool being closed upon arrival but the management gave us a discount because of that. We also broke the glass covering the table by accident and the management was very understanding. The location is great .. the condo was comfortable and the pool area is gorgeous… I would stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a nice unit. Overall, the unit was clean and everything worked as it should. The location of the unit is great. We loved sitting out in the patio. You’re only about 30 steps from the pool which was very convenient. And we were right on the green space in the middle of the complex which made it easy to go out and throw the football. Only thing was that there definitely could have been more towels supplied in the unit. There were only 6 when unit capacity is 8 people. Other than that, we really enjoyed it.

While the upper units have better views you can't beat this ground floor unit for quick and easy access.The unit was cleaned but the sliding glass door track was filthy and extremely difficult to open and close, the guest toilet ran. Maintenance came for both and tried to repair...they were very courteous and prompt to respond. For this unit, bring your own wine/cocktail glasses and a hair dryer it these are items you like to have around.Great unit too for watching kids play volleyball and kickball until dark and visiting from the patio.

Great Location!

Colony Reef Club is a great location! The people are friendly and the community is quiet. The grounds were well kept and the access to the beach was very close! Our unit was nicely decorated and clean. Some parts of the unit were in need of updating. The sliding glass doors that go out onto the porch are very old and were very difficult to open and close. Most of the other updates that are needed don't really affect any day to day living there. Two of the bedrooms are a good size and were well kept. The third bedroom which shows four bunk beds was extremely small, it was like a closet. They were not store bought bunk beds, but rather self made to fit the space. There was a sign that said no one over 100 lbs should be on the top bunk. This didn't affect us with our family, however, it could be a surprise to someone expecting to be able to use the top bunks with older children. I feel like this information should have been in the description. Over all, it was a nice place to stay and we would absolutely come back to the Colony Reef Club again!

The condo overall was nice . The view of the pool and the green space for the kids to run was great! There were a lot of little details that were ignored! There were no cleaning supplies. The kitchen was stocked with decent pots and pans! The beds were terrible! The had big pits in the middle and the bedrooms did not get cool. This made sleeping difficult! The bedding in all three bedrooms was old and not very welcoming! They looked run down! They were clean but very old! The bathrooms were clean and renovated. The condo lacked the extras like some beach toys and the chair was broken. There was no soap for hands or anything like that. The living area was nice . The furniture was fairly new and comfortable! The dining room table was nice until you pulled out the chairs and they were all stained. The facility was nicely taken care of and over all the condo was nice! I would recommend if you stay here to take all the extras !

Look elsewhere if you are hoping for a clean, quiet, comfortable vacation

This condo experience was one disappointment after another. We had stayed at this complex before and so we were not surprised by the number of people everywhere and the overall noise. But, we were shocked at the location of the condo being directly across from the elevator which buzzes loudly each time it comes and goes. This was not advertised or disclosed on the listing on VRBO. Unfortunately, we are traveling with small children who are light sleepers who must sleep in a room directly across from the loud elevator which also does not have any window treatments to block the extremely bright light that stays on all night. The storm door to enter the unit squeaks loudly like metal on metal when opened or closed. The secondary bedroom is disappointing in that there is no ceiling fan and the beds are an absolute nightmare. One will fold you over like a taco, the other squeaks loudly with every move. Both bounce like trampolines. I cannot imagine where one could even purchase such terrible mattresses. Also, the closet door was off the track and had to be fixed by my husband. There are no extra blankets or any pillows on the sofas in the living room. After about 10 minutes in the condo, my children’s feet were covered in dirt and I had to stop unpacking to look for a mop. There is a swiffer, but the cleaning pads are completely dried out. I had to use Clorox wipes I brought with me to mop the dirty floor on hands and knees. While looking for something to clean the floors, we looked in the kitchen pantry and found an entire loaf of moldy bread with meat inside. It was so disgusting. Finally, the entire condo is woefully under equipped. The kitchen has 2 plastic wine glasses, we were only provided 6 towels for 6 people, there are no extra blankets, there are no beach supplies, no ceiling fans. I spent twice my monthly mortgage on this unit and compared to others I have paid far less for, this one is a major disappointment. I highly suggest you look elsewhere. The only redeeming factor about this particular unit is that it is a ground floor and it is very easy to walk out to pool and beach.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon checking in we noticed an awful smell coming from somewhere near the washer and dryer, but couldn’t figure out what it was. The furnishings appeared to be hotel-ish and old, except for the couch and loveseat that was nicer and newer. Bathrooms were renovated nicely. Walls were bare...just an overall cold feeling. The patio and furniture were filthy. The washer only worked after you’d turned it on for an unspecified amount of time. It’s like it just came on when it wanted. The next day we discovered the smell. Someone from a previous stay left an egg in the bottom of the trash can (under the liner), and maggots had appeared all over the trash can and pantry area. There was no cleaning supplies of any sort, so I had to leave at 9:30 pm to go get some. I have a crawling 9 month old, and a disabled child, so keeping her off the floor was a task. I called and notified the front desk, but all she said was “yikes”, and that she would notify (whoever). We stayed here in April as well, but from someone on VRBO. I’ll be booking through them from now on.

Reviewer Comments: Their clothes left in the unit, spare change in a dish in the den, pizza left in the microwave, and wet dish towels left in the washing machine. When we complained we were told we had to realize it was near the end of the season, we were dealing with wear and tear of turnover. We were there the second week of July, I don’t consider that the end of the season. We weren’t given a break on housekeeping which would have been nice if the unit is not cleaned as well later in the season.

The location of the unit from the pool is perfect, just a few steps away. There are a few things in the unit that needed attention, but I’m sure after the office was notified, they will be handled. We have been staying in Colony Reef for years and are always happy there.

Wasn't to be expected...

The third bedroom was more of a closet with filth under the homemade bunk beds. There was trash under the living room furniture and some kind of bungee cord key ring under the fitted sheet in the master bedroom. The master bathroom shower curtain has not been cleaned since day one as it was pink towards the bottom. There was a door stop sticking out in the hallway wish would perfect for a small child to get injured on. There is an exposed wire sticking out of the wall behind the nightstand in the master bedroom. The closet doors in the second bedroom looked wedges in place at an angle to keep them from falling. The dryer does not dry laundry AT ALL.

Condo was nice but not what I would consider a gold room compared to the other colony reef gold rooms we have stayed in the past. Kitchen was updated but both bathrooms needed work. Bathtubs were rusty and tile work was dated. The furniture was all comfortable including the beds. We did have to ask for extra towels because they only supplied us with 6 when the condo slept 9. Overall we had a wonderful time. We will be returning to colony reef for future vacations.

There is a heated indoor pool, which was good because the outside pool - even with a hot tube right there - was too cold to use. By the end of the month, it had warmed up to where we could use the outside pool. Access to the beach is excellent.

Nice and clean

the condo was nice. Kitchen needed more towels and potholders but other than that had plenty of dishes and cookware. The laundry room was very nice to have. Can't wait to come back.!

Great on the beach option

Definitely recommend Colony Reef! Love the heatwd indoor pool and proximity to beach. Be careful with bunk beds...the toos only are for 100 pounds (maybe most people know that, but we did not and we had 18 and over and noone under 100 pounds. Just set mattress on the floor in other room and it was fine, but something to know for planning! The bathrooms do need upgraded (per other reviews), but not a big deal. Some plates/mugs need replaced, and would be great if there were some wine glasses. Place was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay. Thumbs up!
