The SS Mataafa was a steam freighter that was hit by a massive wave while trying to return to Duluth in 1905. The impact sent the ship into the North Pier of Canal Park, breaking the vessel into two. No need to fear! Come crash into this maritime-decorated suite for a relaxing wave-free night sleep. This new 2-Queen bed suite is located on the main Superior street level of the building just past the elevator. It includes a roomy private bathroom, coffee, smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, and a quality mini-split unit for your custom heating & cooling preferences. Just down the hallway is the newly-opened Snively's Lounge where you can relax with a beverage and may even hear some live acoustic music from a local artist. Downstairs you have access to a Sauna and the Rathskeller.
