Set amid the fields and fruit trees of Southwest Michigan, Three Fields Farmhouse offers a laid-back escape near local vineyards, farm stands, and the shoreline. The 1920s home blends character and comfort across vintage interiors and outdoor spaces, including a weathered barn, storybook playhouse, and hot tub under the stars. Itâs a peaceful retreat with room to roam, just minutes from Makerâs Trail.
THE SPACE
Original wide-plank floors, exposed brick, and soft floral wallpaper set the tone for relaxed gatherings. The dining room glows with natural light and a brass chandelier above the table, perfect for long meals and shared stories. The kitchen brings together timeless finishes and practical charm, while the adjacent living area offers inviting seating and considered touches throughout.
Each of the four bedrooms has its own distinct character, layered with vintage accents, soft textures, and a warm, collected feel. The primary suite features a private ensuite bath with a walk-in glass shower. Upstairs, the shared hallway bathroom includes a large soaking tub, spacious glass shower, and elegant tilework. A whimsical half bath where the stacked washer and dryer are also located adds a playful nod to the homeâs early 20th-century roots.

Spend the day sipping at nearby vineyards like Lemon Creek, Round Barn, and 12 Corners, or explore the local Makers Trail for craft brews and artisan spirits. Visit nearby U-pick farms and roadside markets overflowing with berries, peaches, and apples in season. Just a short drive away, Lake Michiganâs shoreline invites you to enjoy sandy beaches like Silver Beach and Rocky Gap. Charming towns such as St. Joseph and South Haven offer boutique shopping, farmers markets, lakeside dining, and family-friendly fun.
