Escape from the Ordinary in a Quirky Eurekan Cottage, WiFi & AC- Sam's Workshop

Sam's Workshop is a TINY, stand alone studio and was once, as you guessed, Sam's true workshop! You will find a few original elements of this workshop sprinkled through the more modern configuration and decor. This is recognized as a place where dreams can veritably come true. Sam's workshop offers privacy and inspiration as well as a spacious patio just outside the workshop to enjoy the sweet outdoor Ozark air.

A modest accommodation for the budget traveler who enjoys a little bit of magic...

The space
One Kingshighway Inn is one of Eureka's original Queen Victorian homes with quirky character and a lot of charm! We are located on the Upper Historic Loop, on the same level as The Crescent Hotel and many shops and restaurants. We are about a 15 minute walk downhill to Basin Park (be prepared for a small hike back up).

While we do not live on the property, we are just a stone-throw away to help with anything you might need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

It is important to note how small Sam’s Workshop is. There is room for a queen bed, a small bathroom, tiny dresser and desk. Please don’t be surprised that it’s small! Sam's Workshop differs in one essential way from just about all other notable Eurekan accommodations - no Jacuzzi tub. WHAT?!? No Jaccuzi TUB?!? That's right. Just a measly romantic shower with a dehumidifying drain line (for your respiratory comfort). Setting expectations will allow you to enjoy the magic of this beautiful space.

Guest access
Guest are welcome to hang out on on the large outdoor patio just outside your room, which is shared with one other guest room. Quiet Hours are between 10pm and 9am.

Other things to note
There is a narrow corridor to walk through to enter Sam’s Workshop. Bulky luggage may be challenging, but feasible.

We try to leave exterior lights on for you, as the stairs getting down to Sam's Workshop are very Eurekan rock stairs, which require a bit of balance.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Sams Workshop. The space worked perfect for us. We would definitely stay there again for future visits.

The room was REALLY small and had a musty smell! We burned their candle and that helped a little. Check out was at 10am and we thought was way too early! Rock steps were not fun to go up and down! Bed was comfortable!

This little workshop is a priced right and overall a good stay. We have stayed in the main house before and had a great stay as well. The only issue we had this time was that we encountered 3 spiders and 2 centipedes and some ants Inside the room. Which explains some of the cobwebs up high. However, this could easily be remedied and we would stay here again. Great location as well.

Hi! My name is Heather! My husband, Christian, and I are the Innkeeper Extraordinaires at RISEeureka Bed & Breakfast and Guesthouse. We moved here a little over a year ago from Branson, MO, and the rest was history! We completely fell in love with the magic and natural beauty of the area! When we're not hosting guests, you can find us searching for scenic and invigorating trails to hike, finding nature's treasures to add to our collection (big time nature nerds đŸ€“), creating brick-built blooms & pixelated marvels with Legos, and having spontaneous kitchen dance-parties! We absolutely LOVE Eureka Springs and the surrounding area! If you ever need any recommendations we've got you covered!

We are a team who LOVE living in Eureka Springs and LOVE hosting you!

Amelia and Joshua Irwin are Texas transplants, and the owners at RISEeureka B&B and Guesthouse. You can usually find them homeschooling their 3 children and unschooling their three dogs. Joshua is a musician, handyman, jack-of-all-trades (and a bit of a closet Football fanatic) and Amelia is tasked with business management, problem solving, idea generating and homemaking, while attempting to find time to crochet pretty things and figure out the perfect sourdough ratio.

We LOVE hosting new and repeat guests! One of the "perks" of being an Innkeeper is getting to meet new friends, and hear about their life experiences! I just really love taking care of others. I think that's what I was called to do! Crafting unique breakfast experiences brings me a sense of immense joy. Seeing the smiles on people's faces and watching them truly savor each bite is the greatest compliment and so fulfilling! If you book with us at our B&B, I would be thrilled to whip up an exquisite breakfast that you will never forget!

As your host, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay is my priority. Creating unforgettable memories here in Eureka Springs is our goal! We can't wait to host you!!
