"Originally called Automobile Row, Midtown Alley was St. Louis’s prime spot to purchase cars between 1911 and 1955. In 2005, the neighborhood was added to the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. National Park Service. While none of the original automobile businesses remain, the buildings–many of which were designed by the famed architect Preston Bradshaw–still stand as a reminder of what first made this neighborhood so special in the city of St. Louis.

Today, Midtown Alley is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in St. Louis. New restaurants such as Brennan’s Work and Leisure, Small Batch, and Egg Midtown are opening up next to older neighborhood staples like The Fountain on Locust and Pappy’s Smokehouse. Unlike most other hosts, corporate housing is our specialty. We prepare our homes not just to handle the needs of guests staying a few days, but for guests staying for months or years. Not only are our homes better equipped for your needs, our long-term rates are among the most competitive available. Guests staying longer than 31 days will not be required to pay sales tax (saving an additional 17%), and will receive huge discounts on add-on services like pets and parking.

☆Parking☆

Midtown is a very popular neighborhood, and parking is limited. Parking is metered on the street, and there are paid lots in the area.
We wanted to provide parking for guests bringing a car while not inflating the nightly rate for those who wouldn't need parking, so we've purchased an on-site gated parking space, and rent the space for $15/night as a convenient add-on option for those who need it. Add-on services are paid separately after booking, and include all local and state taxes, so the rate you see is the rate you pay! We offer huge discounts for guests staying longer than a week –35% off stays 7+ nights, 65% off stays 28+ nights.

☆Pets☆

Bringing your furry friends? We're dog friendly! Our pet fee is $20 per night per pet, and we allow up to 4 dogs with a weight limit of 75 lbs per pup. Just be sure to indicate the number of companions you'll be bringing with you when you checkout, and the pet fee will be incorporated into the rate automatically.

Bringing 3 or more pups along? Staying longer than a week? Message us before you book and we will send over a special offer with a discounted pet fee!

☆Rental Policy☆

Most of our guests are incredibly respectful and kind, but occasionally we have guests who treat our home, our cleaners, and/or our neighbors with disrespect. We require all guests to agree to our rental policy, to pay any associated fines in the event of violation of these policies, and to take responsibility for any damaged or missing items. We require a credit card for incidentals, and reserve the right to place an authorization hold in the amount of $395, which will be released in full upon inspection of the property, provided that our policies were adhered to and there were no damages. We also reserve the right to perform guest identity verification and screening after booking. When you check out, you'll have the opportunity to review and accept our rental policy, which may be referred to as 'Booking Terms', 'Rental Agreement', 'Rental Policy', or by another name depending on channel you book through. Please familiarize yourself with our policy prior to booking.

☆Boarding Pass ☆

Your reservation includes Boarding Pass – an intuitive digital guidebook that makes check-in and check-out easy. With your Boarding Pass, you’ll be able to:

●Access easy to follow photo check-in and check-out instructions
●Access guidebooks with FAQs about the property
●Purchase optional add-on services

Shortly after you book, we’ll send over your Boarding Pass, and you can complete your booking with a few easy steps:

1. Enter your details, selecting any desired add-on services
2. Verify your identity with a selfie / ID check
3. Sign rental agreement
4. Provide credit card for incidentals
5. Submit payment for selected add-on services (if applicable)

Once that’s done, the main screen of the Boarding Pass contains your check-in instructions, which will be accessible 2 hours before the check-in time.

☆Cancellations+Alterations☆

Please consult the cancellation terms in the rental policy prior to booking to determine the amount of the refund, if any, that will be issued in the event of cancellation or alteration. We sometimes receive requests for additional refunds beyond those already offered. We understand that there are many valid reasons for needing to cancel or alter a reservation, so rather than acting as a kind of judge for the validity of each case (and in fairness to our guests who do not ask for special treatment), we refer guests to our cancellation policy to ensure it’s understood upfront and do not offer policy exceptions for any reason.

If there is some doubt as to whether you’ll potentially need to cancel the reservation, we recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your stay.

We spent two nights here with two adults and two children. The place was a perfect home base for our first visit to St. Louis. Check-in and adding on parking was easy. We probably could have found street parking, but preferred the convenience of knowing we had a spot. The place was clean and well-equipped and communication with the host was easy, clear, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Great place to stay with clean rooms, high ceilings, and a modern industrial vibe! It felt very secure and safe. We added the parking to our room and it is very conveniently located across from the door. We drive a Yukon XL and had plenty of room. The instructions were clear on how to get in and out, and communication from the host was easy and responsive. We will stay here again!

Location felt very safe. It was near enough to everything we wanted to do in the city. Check-in was a process, but very clear instructions. The host was great with communication. The only issues were that the master bedroom does not have blackout curtains and the common area has lights that are on all night. The host was very accommodating and offered to send over eye masks, but we just swapped rooms with our kids since they sleep with a night light. It is just something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. The only other issue is that another guest was clearly smoking weed because the smell was strong in the halls.

Excellent location just minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go! True city experience with the industrial style loft apartment. Area felt secure and safe. Host communication was great. Enjoyed my complimentary coffee on the patio. Apartment was clean, cool and very accommodating for my 17 year old son and me, and two of his friends. Highly recommend!

We really appreciated and took advantage of the kitchen space, which was well-equipped. The access to the patio was also lovely. The space itself was modern and we greatly appreciated the parking. Our one note was that the living area was not particularly comfy for talking or watching TV (the bar stools were fine to sit in but not very comfortable). Would have loved a slightly bigger couch. There was also some trash left under one of the beds, but not a big deal. Overall, though, wonderful stay!
