FAQ’s



➤ Is the kitchen fully stocked?



Yes! The kitchen is equipped with all cooking basics, stainless steel appliances, and thoughtful extras like a pour-over coffee setup. A limited supply of coffee and tea is provided. There is also a kitchenette in the fourth bedroom which has a mini fridge, sink and electric kettle.



➤What kind of outdoor space is available?



Enjoy a large back deck with grill and lounge seating, a private hot tub, a fire pit nestled in the garden, a backyard pond, and a small sledding hill for seasonal fun. The farm trails and pastures are just across the street for peaceful walks and farm animal visits.



➤ Is this home family and pet friendly?



Absolutely! There’s a crib, children’s playroom, and plenty of kid-friendly amenities. Pets are welcome with prior approval — the large grounds, trails and pastures make for great adventures for furry friends too.



➤ What about parking and check-in?



There are 5 dedicated parking spots available, and check-in is self-service via smart lock for your convenience.

The Neighborhood:

The house is located on 8 acres in a rural / farmland type of residential setting. You will feel remote enough to disconnect without being too far from anything you need.



Please note: Noise does carry in our little valley. Please be cautious of traveling sound for our neighbors!



Getting Around:

It is best to have a car when coming to Grateful Woods, but you can also take the train to Poughkeepsie or Rhinecliff and then take an Uber or Lyft from there, but note that you will need to schedule a car /taxi for your return trip as Ubers and Lyfts are harder to get from the property.



There is a bus from Port Authority directly to Kerhonkson once a day as well. This will drop you off 5 minutes from the property, but you will need to organize a car from there.



Other Things to Note:

➤ Events and parties are not permitted to maintain the peacefulness of the property and neighborhood.



➤ We ask guests to respect the quiet enjoyment of all nearby residents and farm animals.



➤ Firewood is provided for the indoor fireplace & firepit; please do not bring outside wood.



➤ The property offers serene privacy but is part of a larger farm community you can explore responsibly.
