We stayed at this beautiful lake house with a group of 9. With only 3 bedrooms, two couples had to share rooms with others, so keep that in mind for larger groups. The main bedroom has a gorgeous lake view, but the curtains are very thin â if youâre sensitive to light, consider one of the other rooms.The lakefront setting was lovely. We enjoyed the sunshine on the dock until about 4 PM, had fun with the kayaks and SUP (the rocky shoreline made entry tricky), and loved the sunrises and fishing boats. We also enjoyed the sound of campers across the bay and neighbours playing ping pong on the beach.The house was clean, with no leaks in the bathrooms â a big plus compared to another VRBO we rented where the shower leaked and the owners did nothing. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, and cookware. There was plenty of parking. A few window screens were broken, even with tape.Communication with the host was tricky at first due to app issues, but once connected, they were very helpful and responsive. We were disappointed there were no dishwasher or coffee pods on arrival. One guest drove into town Saturday for dishwasher pods, and the host delivered some Sunday. We booked this place partly for the dishwasher, so doing dishes by hand wasn't ideal.Lastly, I was a little startled by the posted warning about snakes and bears â something to be aware of! Overall, a beautiful, peaceful place with a few minor hiccups.
