Nestled along a slow-moving river, the house is a warm, rustic retreat that feels like itâs been lived in for generations. The interior is a quiet homage to craftsmanship and character, blending Timberlakeâs love of Americana and nature with Hemingwayâs rugged, worldly masculinity This river house isnât about trendsâitâs about soul. A space where stories are told, fish are caught, and time slows down. The space Rough-hewn wood panels in weathered pine or reclaimed barn wood line the walls, bearing the soft gray patina of age. Framed wildlife prints and watercolor landscapesâreminiscent of Bob Timberlakeâs artworkâdot the walls, interspersed with vintage black-and-white photos and fishing maps folded at the edges. This home fit us perfectly, breakfast on the huge front porch was such a treat and the rush of the river was so relaxing! Thanks for comfy beds, cool AC and a great location!
A quiet cabin on the river with spacious bedrooms and living room and loft. Sitting in the river with a drink was amazing and such a welcome relief from the Charleston heat we were looking to escape. We spent a lot of time on the porch relaxing and watching the wildlife (groundhogs, birds and bunnies). Pete was very easy to communicate with and helpful with local restaurants.
