New Rental: THE SALTY DOG! A 3 bedroom/2 bath dog-friendly house on a canal with a boat dock and private pool. Bring your boat! This home is just a 5 min boat ride away to Sarasota Bay and Jewfish Key. Sleeps 8 comfortably.
Dog friendly! Of course, The Salty Dog is dog friendly.
2 Dogs allowed under 50 lbs each (non-refundable deposit of $150 total). Dogs only.
Boat Dock: Bring your boat and tie off right at your own private dock (Room to moor boats up to 34' max). Inquire property manager about using 10k boat lift (available for a separate fee). Max length on lift is 27'. No fixed bridges to open water. Just a 5 minute boat ride to the tranquil waters of Sarasota Bay and the locally well known sandbar at Jewfish Key. This area is perfect for in-shore and off-shore fishing as well as dolphin/manatee sightings.
This coastal themed property features 3 bedrooms - one with a King bed, one with a Queen bed, and one with a trundle bed (2 Twins), plus an additional space in the Florida Room with a Queen sleeper sofa bed, creating a relaxing space for 8 guests to sleep comfortably. This home also has 2 full bathrooms with shower and tub in both. Bath towels and bed linens are provided, as well as beach towels. Guests can enjoy amenities like having your own boat dock and private pool, full kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, plus Smart TVs in each bedroom as well as the living room and Florida Room. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at The Salty Dog.
There are tons of wonderful restaurants in the area with fresh local seafood, as well as grocery stores nearby.

We are from Lakeland, FL but have a second home in Bradenton that we consider to be our retirement home one day. We have a 23 year old son. We also have a cattle ranch with 3 donkeys, a wild hog and a French bulldog (Piper). We love the outdoors, especially fishing in Sarasota Bay and Tampa Bay. We recently purchased this home to rent out to others so that they can also enjoy the beauty of this area and all it has to offer.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
The Salty Dog is located in Coral Shores Subdivision, just off of Cortez Rd before the bridge to the beaches. We love this neighborhood because it's quiet and everyone is always so nice. We can fish right off of our docks and also take our boat out to the bay in about 5 minutes. Great restaurants and things to do in the local area. We too, were also renters a few years ago and would always rent in this area within a 5 mile radius. We just really enjoy being here and we know you will too.

Where do I start? The boat dock with no bridges to the open bay in 5 minutes time. The private pool. Being able to fish off of your own dock. The convenience of amazing restaurants and stores nearby. Staying in a nice neighborhood where neighbors are friendly. The full kitchen. The fact that it sleeps 8 comfortably. There are too many things to list. Come see for yourself!
