Cozy carriage house for a Salem weekend girls trip. Very clean. Host on property very friendly. Very enjoyable stay!! Will be booking again in the future
Very comfortable property located near coast. We were taking a granddaughter to Salem State for her freshman year which was very hectic - the property provided us a place to relax and enjoy family time also close to a variety of wonderful local restaurants. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions we had and made our stay a wonderful memory for us all.
Hosts Susan and Stow are your neighbors- living in the main house, a former summer house built in 1890. We are retired from careers as a journalism professor and an environmental consultant. We've raised a family in Marblehead and are happy to share any tips about our beloved hometown.
We love this seaside neighborhood--closer to Boston and yet not far from the highlights of Marblehead--its harbor, historic district, beaches and playgrounds.Family-friendly.
Our property is a converted, stand-alone carriage house with its own driveway, a stroll away from the ocean and a small pond and neighborhood green. The home is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Salem and Marblehead harbor and historic district--both places to visit but not necessarily stay there if you prefer a quiet refuge away from it all.
