Small and Quiet Lakefront Resort sur Siesta Key W / piscine chauffée et kayaks

Il s'agit d'une unité de deux chambres à deux salles de bains avec un lit king-size dans une chambre privée, deux lits jumeaux dans l'autre chambre privée et un canapé-lit dans le salon pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Il y a deux salles de bains dont une avec douche seulement et l'autre avec baignoire / douche combo. Le salon est meublé avec une téléviseur à écran plat de 40 "avec programmation HD. La cuisine est équipée d'un four à gaz 4 feux, d'un réfrigérateur et d'un four à micro-ondes entre autres petits appareils de cuisine. juste à l'extérieur de votre unité, il y a un petit cri en patio donnant sur la piscine meublée avec une petite table et des chaises pour s'asseoir et éventuellement prendre un café sur un bon matin avant de frapper les plages.

Le complexe offre une piscine idéale pour se rafraîchir à la chaleur de l'été mais aussi chauffée pendant les mois d'hiver pour un plaisir toute l'année. Il y a plusieurs grilles dans la zone de grillage de la propriété juste à côté de la rive de Herron Lagoon. Beaucoup de chaises longues et sièges autour de la piscine et une grande zone de pont pour se baigner au bord du lac.

La propriété est située à moins de 10 minutes de la suivante. À moins d'un mille de la plage la plus proche, Turtle Beach, à 1,5 km des restaurants et magasins les plus proches, à 3 miles de la principale plage publique de Siesta Key et à 4 miles de Siesta Key Village. L'île offre de nombreuses options de services gratuits de conduite (conseils seulement) pour vous emmener dans l'île.

Nice family getaway

The property was clean and comfortable. Having two bathrooms was very convenient. The only downside was that the pool was not well kept and could use a deep clean.

Great place for family

This was a great place for our family to stay. Amenities were more than we expected and the location of the property worked out well as it was only a short drive to Siesta Key Beach. My wife and I enjoyed our morning walks down to Turtle Beach and the beautiful neighborhood in which this property sits. Can't wait to return here.

Siesta key

Great location, we enjoyed our stay after a couple issues were resolved. In order to get hot water in one bathroom it must run 5 minutes or more. The pool was nice but we needed to skim the leaves out ourselves.

Short getaway

Loved going to Turtle Beach - less than 5 min easy drive. Convenient that beach chairs and umbrellas were available. Appreciate free laundry facilities. Didn’t walk to beach - access point was not clear. Enjoyed kayaks and pool on premise.

They are working hard to rehab this location after the hurricane, that being said the property was in shambles. The work they have done seems to be of pretty low quality. A couple roaches were found in our unit. They did their best to accommodate us but should have held off on opening In my mind.

We had a wonderful Christmas

We really enjoyed this property during our stay for Christmas vacation. The unit was perfect for our small family. The grounds & area are beautiful. We took bike rides to the beach and fished off the back deck. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make a full course Christmas dinner. There were plenty of towels & linens. Everything was perfect.

Note: Hall shower had a slow drain and needs attention. Pull out sofa mattress has seen better days and we were unable to sleep on it - it was badly stained as well.

Beach Fun!!!

Did I mention the use of new washers an dryers on sight...FREE!! just bring soap..lol Turtle beach is right down the road with free parking an everything you need. Restrooms an showers picnic tables, playground for the kids..etc.. LOVE IT HERE!!!!

Perfect get away

The unit was much larger than what I was expecting. It is an older property with many upgrades. It was only a one mile walk to the beach and it was quiet by the pool. The bikes needed a little work. We did not take advantage of the kayaks but they were there to use as well. The only drawback was a large boat parked in the paking lot that sometimes made it difficult to get out of your parking space. It has a black cover on it that makes that more difficult at night.

Perfect getaway to Siesta Key

We were hoping to see the Caribbean style colored bungalows, but the recently updated bathrooms and kitchen more than made up for it. Our bungalow was clean and the screened porch was great for happy hour. 4 stars owing to a suggestion is that the host include the type of coffee maker in his discription. We bought coffee and filters only to find a luring style coffee maker in our unit. Also, We had an issue requiring we speak to the host and had to wait 24 hours for a response. Had it been a maintenance issue, it would have been a major problem to get that length of time for a response.

Rhonda thank you for your thoughtful review. This development will continue to undergo upgrades over the next year which will include a new pool, landscaping and parking area. Rhonda we have an after hours line for emergencies which is monitored during awake hours - just call our main line and leave a voicemail to trigger the response for more serious issues. Our office is closed on Sundays, so non-critical notifications are addressed Monday morning, but you can always reach us in an emergency at the after hours number. We will adjust the property listing to be more clear about the Keurig coffeemaker. Rhonda it was a pleasure to host your stay, and we hope you will come back to stay with us agian next year. Disappointed

Unit is very sparsely equipped. Sleeps 6, which we were. The dining area only seats 4. Two bedrooms, only one dresser for 6 people. Had to buy extra hangers, everyone got "one drawer " in the dresser . The kitchen.....exactly six plates, bowls, mugs etc. There are no serving dishes, storage containers etc. One dish towel and zero dish clothes, another purchase. Screened in porch, again seating for 4. Great outdoor space in desperate need of repair and updating. We had some plumbing issues early on and they were addressed immediately, thank you for that. We enjoyed the paddle boards, kayak's, bikes etc...Great Laundry facilities. The pool is small, but adequate. The pool area and furniture could also use some repair and updating. All in all we made the best of it and enjoyed our time in Siesta Key.

Thank you for staying. The unit is equipped and furnished exactly how it is depicted in the pictures. The occupancy for this unit is 4 persons (2 in each bedroom), a sleeper sofa is not meant for a full time guest but maybe just for a 1 or 2 night stay-over. So indeed it is stocked for 4 persons with a potential for 6 at maximum. There are 4 chairs in the pictures of both the inside dining table and outside patio table, there this should come as no shock that there are 4 chairs at each table when you arrive. Not sure what the screen patio is in desperate need of repair, there are no screens torn, the rest is two concrete walls and concrete floor. Most all patio furniture is brand new apart from two tables left to be replaced.

Very, very disappointed with this stay

Very disappointed in this stay. We arrived late on Sunday night to find a puddle of water under the bathroom sink in the master bathroom. It took until Tuesday afternoon to get someone to come fix it. Prior to arrival we were not made aware that the complex was under construction. It was very loud from 9am-5pm leaving the screened in porch, that I was so looking forward to using, as a place that couldn’t be enjoyed to do my work. This also left the pool area not a place of enjoyment as it was very loud and there were construction workers parading inside the fenced in pool area constantly carrying building materials. This was not a setting where I was comfortable donning a swimsuit to go sit as a single female while my husband was working. The “quiet” lagoon area with the decks overlooking the water were also under construction and the area to access them were also blocked by a construction trailer. On day of checkout, housekeeping attempted to enter the house without even knocking at 9:52am. Mind you, I was preparing my things and only needed to gather the trash to take out with me, but they didn’t knock. When I went to the door they also didn’t apologize and when I exited the unit several minutes later I told them I was out & they never even acknowledged me & continued talking among themselves. The parking lot is not very large, the housekeepers vehicles were parked where it made it almost impossible to get my truck between vehicles. Overall, VERY disappointing.

Peaceful, Quiet & Spacious

We very much enjoyed our stay & loved the layout & space of our 2 bedroom unit with the wonderful screened porch overlooking a nice clean, sparkling pool very few used and had all to ourselves one afternoon. The back of the property overlooking the water early in the morning to the sounds of little creatures with coffee in hand was glorious. We even cast a few with rod & reel left on the dock. There were only a few hiccups, but nothing earth shattering. I did not get much sleep the first night due to a rubber mattress pad that’s hot & noisy when you move around in bed. That’s old school bedding & could use something that breathes & doesn’t wake a person like me when your spouse has restless sleep. Also the headboard is not attached and clatters against the wall every time you hit it re-adjusting your pillows. Finally we figured out to put a pillow between the wall & headboard for less interrupted sleep on night 2. On a king size bed, king size pillows would be divine. Next, the night before we were to check out, our partial toilet paper rolls upon arrival emptied out and there was not even 1 roll in the whole place. I was told by the rental manager the next morning when I called to report toilet/ shower back up as the last event before departing today that I needed to buy my own. We only stayed 2 nights and we can’t have one roll as a back up. Sorry. Missed that detail as we are busy buying home in the area and were a bit preoccupied and missed the toilet paper rule. I told rental manager we had to resort to kitchen paper towels & he seemed to want to draw a link between clogged plumbing & assume we didn’t place paper towels in trash can which we did! I had to repeat myself 3 times attesting we did NOT place paper towels in the john. We have septic system in one of our properties. We know! No blame on our end. All in all it was a great stay. Perhaps just an update to bedding & pillows not that comfortable would be great! You have a gem of a property & wonderful Siesta Keys! Florida here we come!! Again, thank you for allowing our stay. We’re owners too & always get great guests!

Thanks for staying. These are self-service accommodations, consumable items are not provided apart from starter amounts which, for this unit includes 2 extra large toilet paper rolls. How 4 people can go through 2 extra large rolls in 43 hours is beyond me. Hence the clog, regardless they were not charged for the corrective measures.

Spring break getaway

We had a great spring break week. The unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The screened in porch was nice, just wish it had a separate door access to the pool. The pool was filled with leaves and needed some cleaning, which my husband and a few other renters helped clean a few times before an official “pool person” showed up on day 3 and took care of the rest.

Note that the pool is not covered and due to our tropical setting there are many trees around and this was the season of leaves, next season will be acorns. We like to maintain the lush tropical landscape of our property. During this guests stay, we had unusually high winds. The pool is cleaned twice per week one of which was on the day of this guests arrival and then again mid-week.

Nice retreat away

We enjoyed our short stay for some quite time before school begins. My son had a ball fishing, swimming, kayaking, and riding bikes to Turtle beach. The villas very wonderfully equipped for our small family. Perfect location with lots of dining near by.

Sister trip

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect size for our sister trip. The kitchen could use more basic dishes for instance their were only 5 plates for house of 6. Could use a large frying pan when you are feeding 6 adults ...more drink glasses. Open up couch has very thin mattress could use upgrade or added memory foam perhaps. We plan to return next year hopefully !!
