Our stay at Gulfway Hideaway was nice. The townhouse had more than enough room for all of us. The garage, fire pit, and hot tub were an added bonus. The location to the shops and restaurants was great- everything was only a short drive away. There were a few things that would have made this rental property even better. Although the bed on the main floor was super comfortable, the other ones were not great, and my teen son said he could feel the coils coming through. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, and utensils, but donât forget to bring even basic things like salt and pepper or a sponge to wash dishes. The kitchen sink had no hot water. If you plan on toasting anything, use the toaster oven, not the toaster as it burnt our bagels each morning. The basement stayed nice and cool! The âjack and Jillâ shower head downstairs needs upgraded. As I said before, the location was great, however, you could hear the main road and the bands from the Honi Honi bar. I didnât mind it very much, but some others in my party wanted a more quiet/serene location. I was under the impression this had a lake view- and it did⊠kinda. You have to squint your eyes and angle your body just right in between the trees to see it.Even with the few minor inconveniences, we still had a great time and enjoyed our conversation.
