Welcome to your perfect lake escape! Here at one of our two cozy lakeside cabins on lake cumberland we have everything you need for a relaxing getaway. With sleeping space for up to 7 guests, the first bedroom features a luxurious king bed, second bedroom has a full bed, & a single bunk bed. & our sunroom has and a comfy pullout couch. The full kitchen is stocked and ready for your favorite meals, the outside you’ll find a private patio with a fire pit—perfect for evenings under the stars!

Guests also enjoy access to a community pool just a short walk away and a private boat slip, making it easy to spend your days out on the water! Whether you’re here to fish, swim, or just soak in the peaceful surroundings, this cottage offers the ideal mix of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.

Fantastic Lake Cottage Getaway

Property was exactly as described. Very clean, very nicely kept. Amy is a great host, very responsive and will go out of her way to ensure your stay is great. This was perfect for us and our 2 kids, and we will absolutely be booking this cottage again. Location and Amenities are great for a Cumberland lake getaway!

Great central spot to a lot of area sights!

My family and I really enjoyed this getaway for New Years. It was well-stocked with kitchen needs, the beds were comfortable, and most importantly, the table was an ample size for four adults to play very intense games of Rook! Thank you for a great place to stay.

Diane Cabin was awesome!

Super clean and welcoming! The kids enjoyed the pool and we all liked the tram up from the lake!

The Diane was amazing!

The Diane was amazing! Property was very clean. Owner was easy to communicate with and if needed was right on it! Loved all the decor! Very close to the lake and able to take a tram down the hill to boat dock! Highly highly recommend!

Relaxing

Stayed here on our way home to Michigan. Very nice and clean. Loved the decorating. Liked that there was a lift down to the dock/water since I have trouble with stairs. Didn't get a chance to use the firepit - very nice setup.

Good relaxing

I really enjoyed my stay at Diane! Summer was very helpful and the cabin was clean with everything you need. If I could add anything I would add box springs to the beds. They slept a little rough but it wouldn’t keep me from coming back!

We have linen spa mattresses in all our houses. They don’t require box springs:) So glad you enjoyed!

Wonderful Experience!!

This was our first stay with Summer and Lynn and we are looking forward to coming back many more times! The cabin was clean, spacious for 2 bedrooms, full equipped with lots of personal touches! We got to meet Lynn while we were there as well as other people at the resort who had nothing but great things to say as well. Loved that I could put my boat in the water and leave it at the private dock, the tram was perfect so that we didn't have to haul heavy coolers down to the boat and it was nice to ride it back up the hill after a long day on the water. The pool was nice although we didn't have time to swim. Overall I can't say enough great things about our stay here:)

Awesome vacation

We decided to take my grandson on a fishing vacation with us and booked Diane property on lake Cumberland for it. The house was just as beautiful as pictures online and was so close to town and a boat launch. Even though we had a lot of rain when we were there, we had a great time. My husband and grandson caught a lot of fish and really enjoyed the lake. I enjoyed the sunroom immensely and spent a lot of time in it just enjoying the breeze and the chirping of the birds. Was so glad to be so close to town with many good restaurants to choose from. Would definitely recommend this place for a couple or small family. The ease of renting this place from beginning to end was terrific. Thanks Summer for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Tina, Pablo and Zac

Absolutely perfect!

My friends and I chose this house for our weekend getaway to celebrate the life of a dear friend of ours that we lost back in May. Summer’s house was absolutely adorable and exactly what we were hoping for! The space was very clean and everything was very accessible. We honestly had zero problems! The covered patio is where we spent most of our time just listening to music and playing card games. The neighbors were friendly and we felt very safe there. We are thinking about making our trip an annual thing and if so we will definitely be booking this property again! You will not be disappointed! P.s. the walk down to the lake is beautiful but if you would like I ride up make sure to take quarters down with you as the lift costs .50 cents. Totally worth it!

Great place

We loved our stay here - great little community where the house is. Plenty of space for parking vehicles and trucks and trailers. We didn’t know where to launch our boat, it would be helpful to have a map please. We did get one from the lady at the resort, but because this unit, Diane is privately owned, she didn’t really want to help us. Launching your boat is around the corner at The State Park and then a quick ride over to the dock at the bottom of the hill from Diane. Super friendly people staying at the resort and all boaters helped each other with docking. Place is clean and comfortable. The only downfall was having to share a firepit that was in the middle of Jack and Diane. If you rented both places, I think it’s a great idea, but it was another family with teenagers and they were super nice and respectful, but we had 2 young kids and would have preferred the quality time with just us. There is a portable firepit that we planned to used the 2nd night in a different area, but it had rained so we didn’t do a firepit at all. Overall, we loved our stay and loved Summers place!

So glad you enjoyed. There are so many who come to Lake Cumberland from out of state who know the area so unless you ask I just assume you know and don’t mention. We have maps of the lake just not a description of launching. I love that idea. So sorry the owners of the resort weren’t more helpful. You would think they would be! We choose a large fire pit between the two cottages based in the way our properties are layer out. I definitely will keep a portable in location for that reason. Most love the idea of a meet and greet! Hope to host you again’
